Booking is so easy
Booking is so easy. Customer service was also excellent, easy to reach and talk to (John was soooo helpful when I needed the support). The website is also user-friendly and voucher are easy to use, it didn’t give me a hard time unlike other platforms.

From the booking to the actual event was very interesting. Ride was good. Breathtaking views. We got involved with deflating the balloon which was a whole new experience. To end with great breakfast.

I tried to purchase one adult & one child voucher in one process. Seems that is not possible so I had to enter payment details twice. This took me quite a long time. Would love to know how to complete this process.

Customer Service Focused
We recently had an expiring Red Balloon gift voucher and the customer service experience was outstanding. The lady I spoke with on the phone was incredibly helpful and immediately assisted me, making some great suggestions without needing any lengthy consultation.
I was especially impressed that my call was answered straight away — no waiting on hold and no frustrating phone menus to navigate. It was so refreshing to be able to speak to a real person.
She followed up immediately with a clear, detailed email outlining the next steps, which made the whole process simple and stress‑free. I genuinely loved the experience and felt very well looked after. Highly recommend Red Balloon for their excellent customer service.

It was easy, straightforward and clear to book and experience through Red balloon, I received a thorough confirmation email that included all the information that I needed to know about the experience that I had booked. I would use Red balloon again to book another experience.

Discount vouchers are worthless
My partners daughter bought a voucher in July last year for a v8 super car experience. When I applied the voucher today, the $50 discount she received when buying the voucher was not honoured when I bought 3 v8 experiences. I was advised to do this by your company with no mention of this. It’s very poor. This discount is clearly a gimic that is not worth anything.

I’d like to clarify what occurred. The voucher purchased in July last year was exchanged rather than redeemed, and during that process our system still attempted to apply the original discount. Because multiple vouchers with discounts were being used in the same transaction, the system automatically applied only one discount, which is why the full $50 reduction did not appear across all three V8 experiences.
That said, this is not how we want the experience to feel, and we completely understand why this was disappointing—especially after following the advice provided by our team. The discount is absolutely not a gimmick, and we stand by our 18‑month price lock guarantee.
We would be more than happy to make this right and honour the pricing as intended. We will be in touch via email once it has all been resolved.

Good choices but difficult to book
This was our first time using Red Balloon. Finding an experience we wanted wasn't too difficult but booking it proved to be annoying. The venue's opening hours weren't correct so it took a couple of tries. In addition, we emailed our details so the venue could contact us to explain why they declined. We then left a phone message. Still no response. We persisted and eventually booked the experience we wanted. It just seemed much harder than it should've been.
If we use the service again, we'll be more aware of these challenges.

Relaxing picnic following wine tasting at Printhie Vineyards. The wine tasting was fun and the picnic was delicious - large sandwich, generous cheese plate, a delicious desert/slice and of course a bottle of Printhie wine. A perfect way to spend the afternoon.
