Absolutely the worst company to have a vehicle warranty with. Willing to take your money but not willing to do the work when needed. Will wriggle out of paying for work to be done at every opportunity. Don’t waste your money , happy to take £35 a month for over two years but when you try to use them for repairs they find any excuse not to pay!. Disgusted and out of pocket!.

Terrible, being paying three years every month and when I needed them I get brush off. They said I need to pay an extra fee so they can diagnose the problem. Then they said they couldn’t pick the car up because they didn’t have the right facilities so it was better if I went to my local garage to see if they could fix the problem. I explained why am I paying £33 a month and she explained it was full of service . The customer care skills are unbelievable. Do not pay for this service because you do not get the right service you pay for.

More of a question than a complaint. Does RAMP trust the RAC to do mechanical repairs? Would they honour te cost of these repairs through their mechanical warranties?

Trying to make a claim is a nightmare. It is obvious they make things as difficult as possible to deter you from following it through. Customers are expected to foot the bill and then try to claim this back. I have already paid for RAMP cover to, hopefully, reduce the risk of bills, yet it is us that would need to pay for all the work and then claim this back.
My car has developed a loud metallic noise when turning, from the suspension. Why you should I need to pay for an inspection prior to work being completed? Why do you not have approved garages? I purchased a two year warranty and I would have been better off just keeping the money to one side, just in case. I would not use RAMP again and I could not recommend them to anyone.

Absolute nightmare,

Drivers door window motor failed so car off the road, the phone agents that is spoke to couldn't care less, they just stick to their script "if it's in our Ts&Cs we" etc etc, they won't let me get the repair done and claim the money back from them, they don't have an account with the garage so they won't release the car, all the phone agent repeatedly says is "we normally pay in five days"

This is the only claim I have tried to make, it is supposed to be a like for like warranty, it really isn't.

Regarding your response.
Remember the car was off the road, the phone handler had absolutely no sympathy whatsoever, he couldn't care less, in the conversation his response to anything I asked was and he repeated three times that they cover it if it is in their terms and conditions, I explained that the nearest Jaguar service centre is 40 minutes away, so would have to be done while I wait, I asked if I could just pay for the repair and then claim it back? he completely ignored anything that I said. It seems that they do everything they can to make the process as difficult and awkward as possible, this warranty was sold to me as a like for like to the manufacturers, it clearly isn't.

This so called warranty is a complete con, they have just refused to pay claiming the failure was caused by water ingress.

Whatever you do avoid Ramp, find a reputable company who aren't doing everything they can to wriggle out of paying.

So basically if your car has got wet, this warranty will not cover you,

Clearly not a like for like warranty as sold to me.
