Had a great experience with Railbooker’s. Kelli set our trip up. A special trip for my wife and I. She listened to our request and set up a trip perfect for us. Itinerary easy to follow. I had questions about using the trains in Italy and talked to William a couple times asking him questions till I was comfortable. We had a great time and would use Railbooker’s again.

Excellent Experience with our Tour of Switzerland
We just returned from a 15 day Tour of Switzerland trip. We had an amazing experience with Railbookers from the very beginning. Rachel, our agent, was very helpful during the planning process and allowed me to choose our hotels based on our budget as well as make some adjustments to their tour package.
The first class train reservations with the Swiss Pass on both regular and scenic rail routes along with the hotel accommodations were all booked and explained in advance which made for a stress free, enjoyable experience. We never encountered one issue during the 15 days. I highly recommend Railbookers and am already researching our next adventure in Italy with them.

As a travel agent, it is always a joy to get friendly and knowledgeable assistance from a company. I always get that with Railbookers! Today I had the privilege of working with Dorian who helped me salvage a trip for my clients. The original cruise we had booked them on was cancelled, which meant that the Railbookers trip we had booked post cruise was also impacted. Once we got their new cruise and dates set up, Dorian carefully crafted a new itinerary that perfectly suited their wishes. Yesterday my husband & phoned Railbookers & spoke with Hillary. We are scheduled for a train trip through 4 countries. We were missing two train tickets that were not in our downloads & there was also a day we were questioning with connections that didn't seem right. Also, the train tickets are in different languages. Hillary recommended that we download the Google App for translating & hover over the ticket it will translate for us & she said it works great on translating menu's. She had the connections issue changed & added the two tickets that were missing & had a corrected itinerary emailed to us while we were talking. She was very pleasant & efficient. She is a great asset for thier company.

no happy with rail bookers
starting with my reservation, I book the first class on the Jacobite train one year before my trip as I knew it would book up fast, only to find out two months before my trip and after they received my final payment I might add, that the first class was not available, this also happened to another couple I met on the same trip they also booked with rail bookers, 2. there was no one to meet us at Inverness, I waited for a driver that never showed up I eventually called the number that was provided and the driver said he would be there in 20 min, I actually waited in the rain for 40 min before someone showed up. 3. my last day in Edinburgh I went to the hotel Malmaison hotel on Andrews square, and they said I have no booking under your name here, again yet another screw up by rail bookers, they said I was booked at another of there hotels outside the city, when I showed them you documents they said they would see if they had a room and to see if they could move me to this hotel, they said there might be an added cost, at this stage I said ill pay im not moving. they were able to get me a room and cancel the other and there was no extra charge, I can't say enough how well the staff at the hotel took care of this mess up by rail bookers. this is my 3rd time using rail bookers and on every trip there has been some mistakes I will not recommend rail bookers because of there incompetency also I will not book with them again

Regarding the Jacobite Steam Train, we understand that First Class was an important part of your trip. Our team booked your seats as soon as tickets were released, but unfortunately, First Class had already sold out due to high demand. We secured Standard Class seating so you could still enjoy the Jacobite experience, issued a $94.54 refund for the fare difference, and provided an additional $150.00 goodwill refund in recognition of the disappointment.
At Fort William Station, we understand the difficulty you experienced locating your driver, particularly while waiting in the rain. Your travel documents included both the driver’s contact information and our emergency assistance number, which are available to help coordinate the meeting location upon arrival. We understand that you ultimately contacted the provided number and waited for the driver to arrive, and we recognize the inconvenience this caused.
Regarding the Malmaison Edinburgh City on August 10, we appreciate you speaking with us and confirming that the hotel was ultimately able to accommodate you at the St. Andrews Square location without any additional payment. We apologize for the confusion you experienced when initially checking in and appreciate your patience while the reservation was resolved.
We appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to provide clarification. Your comments are valuable as we continue to review our processes and identify opportunities to improve the overall experience for our guests.

My husband and I planned a vacation…
My husband and I planned a vacation using a travel agent and Railbookers. We requested the highest tiers and levels throughout the trip, as stated in the itinerary and led us to believe we were paying for this level. However, when we received the final itinerary, we were informed that we had been given the higher status for only half of our trip. As a result, we will never use Railbookers again and will actively warn others about their misleading and overcharging practices.
