I've cancelled my subscription, too many no shows. I don't blame the Radio Times for this, it's the postal service, we are lucky if we see a postman every 2 weeks. I was continually emailing the Radio... Vis mer

I paid by DD in October
I paid by DD in October, since then 3 copies haven’t been delivered on time. The phone line and email box is manned by people who seem incapable of understanding that I want my money back. I am stuck and out of pocket for a magazine subscription that I am not receiving.
What a pity I can't give zero stars
What a pity I can't give zero stars! Delivery is erratic and customer service is non existent. Although a subscription does mean I'm buying at a discount, it's not worth the effort as there have been so many missing editions. Support your local shop by purchasing it from there.
Excellent magazine. Terrible delivrfy.
The Radio Times is a great magazine. It has the most detail and the broadest range of channels in its pages of any of the listings magazines. However, there is a big BUT which prevents me from giving 5 star rating. They use Royal Mail to carry and deliver the magazine and they are not al all reliable. Even though I live in a big city I am lucky to get two deliveries per week. In short Radio Times is always late.
RT website
RT website - another change and for the worse again. there's no 'quick view' for a listing, you have to click on it. Bad enough, but now it's a side frame and when you shut it, it leaves you at the top of the page no matter where you were. You still can't put the channels in an order you prefer, and since this is a review who does the film reviews? they are nothing like the star ratings in the rest of the media - I guess you are trying to turn us away from TV to books????
Scam behaviour
An offer of the first 14 issues for £1.00 was addressed personally to me. When I responded I was told I could not have the offer. After some exchanges I was told I could have the offer but I now find RT are going to take the full subscription cost from my bank account up front. So the offer is a scam - do not fall for it.
Ads on mobile version :-(
Trying to look at the guide on my mobile phone. The guide is fine until you see a programme you would like to know more about. Click on the programme and a big advert just covers the screen so you can’t read anything. There is a little x to delete the add but just takes you to another set of ads. What’s the point?
RT Shop - Aviod!
Ordered an item from the RT shop two weeks ago. The confirmation states that dispatch will be notified but I have not received any notification despite being told verbally a week ago that my order was "with the Royal mail". Needless to say no tracking information has been provided and almost inevitably the order has not arrived either.
Very sad to see the RT putting its name to something that falls way short of the level of service that most private sellers on eBay manage to provide, especially in the BBC's 100th year. The BBC needs all the friends that it can get these days, but this sort of service is only likely to alienate its customers.
PS. Just noticed that I failed to submit this review at the time. Yes, the item did arrive eventually, but I would never use this company again.
Missing Radio Times
My radio times not arrived again this week , I am cancelling my subscription . I used to look forward to my Radio Times arriving always on Tuesday , but not anymore it varies hoped it would turn up but hasn’t . Also the changes I feel aren’t good , every week it seems to lose something , I thought they may be trying to attract younger people I fear if they change more the magazine won’t survive , Better radio features ( Radio Times ) feel Archers should be back to where it was not just where there a space
TV listings?
So where are the TV listings on the Radiotimes website or do they have so much PC crap to peddle that they don't think we need them?

Have watched death in paradise since…
Have watched Death in Paradise since the first series - great mixture of fun and knowing one of the four main guest artists would be the killer. Great mix of the regular cast light hearted and uplifting in winter months. However latest series quite miserable and serious. Not the usual fun banter between the inspector and his team. Has it turned woke as the last 2 episodes focused on non white guest stars for all the story plots. The beauty of this programme was the lovely island setting- the idiosyncrasies of the inspector from the UK - the brilliance of the local team in Saint Marie plus the eclectic mixture of locals and tourists bringing together a good murder plot without taking itself too seriously. Dont recognise most of cast apart from Ralf, Selwyn and police team as well as Catherine. Loved seeing guest stars from the UK. Have they now got a new director who is breaking something thats not broken. Horrible new theme tune with words which is not needed. We the viewers made this series successful for the past 11 years so don't change the format
Over charge
I received renewal subscription letter plus £27 60 from last 6 months I phoned them to cancel and give me a refund. They said they would do it for £64.00 i accepted the lower amount then checked my bank account they took the full £81.60 from my account I cancelled they said they would refund me in about 3 days. I cancelled and am wating for refund.

They didn't process the refund for my subscription after I cancelled. I applied to take out their special offer 12 issues for £1 and a manager told me I could do this as I haven't had this offer for more than a year. Then they emailed me to cancel my application. I rang again and asked to speak to a manager but they refused to put me through. Their customer service department used to be good and in England but now it's in South Africa and appalling.
Non-delivery of Xmas Edition
Subscription deliberately taken out so we would receive the Xmas edition as part of our family tradition.
This edition came out on 13th Dec and has been available in-store since then.
As of 20th Dec, No delivery of this edition and Radio Times are stating that people wait until the 22nd Dec before contacting them about it! What are Radio Times expecting subscribers to do by waiting until the 22nd Dec, considering that there are Royal Mail strikes on 23rd and 24th Dec! How on earth do they expect subscribers to receive it by waiting until 22nd Dec? This is probably RTs most important edition of the year that people look forward to, and letting customers down with non-delivery of this, with no proper backup plan is just really poor customer service. Yes, Royal Mail strikes are out of RTs control but the edition has been out since 13th Dec and there has been plenty of time to resolve and prepare for these eventualities to ensure subscribers get their copies of this edition. Offering subscribers, discounts etc. after the horse has bolted as an apology, really doesn't fix being let down on this "special" edtion. The damage is done. Not a great start to peoples' Xmas. Very, very disappointing RT! :(
Absolutely shocking customer service
Absolutely shocking customer service. They failed to take a payment and tried to blame it on me. The first advisor I spoke to ‘Linda James’ when I asked for legal documentation of my direct debit couldn’t answer my request so proceeded to go silent!
They failed to uphold their obligation to provide, and then tried to blame it on me. My advice to anyone considering a subscription with these, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! Shocking customer service

I requested a refund from RT on 19th October and was told 3-5 days. It’s £47 and I still don’t have it. I rang on 26th October and again today 4th November and was told they would request it again and another 3-5 days. The payment took me overdrawn and I am still paying OD fees. They take it in seconds but try getting it back! I won’t subscribe again. Jane Gibson

What a dreadful “improvement” Ok I’m a long time subscriber and used to it’s layout, but why oh why change the layout of of the sports pages? I now find it so much more difficult to browse them. And what is the point of putting the film and film reviews, which I note have been reduced, in the middle of the of the general reviews? This “improvement” will most definitely encourage me to investigate alternative sources
I have had a subscription with Radio…
I have had a subscription with Radio Times for many years. My yearly subscription has increased over the years from £104 in 2017 to £182 per year. Last week I decided the magazine was not worth £184 per year and phoned to cancel. The customer service person I spoke to informed me, they would reduce the half yearly payments starting at £72. I informed her I still wanted to cancel, she reduced it to £62, I said I still wanted to cancel. When she informed me her last offer was £52, I decided to continue my subscription. I have discovered they offer £52 to new subscribers. When I phoned to complain and cancel again, I was informed the offer was offered to new customers for a limited periods only. I said it was a shame they did not inform existing customers about these offers. I was informed by the customer service person, the offers appear in the advertising materials enclosed with the magazine. I do not buy the magazine to read their advertising leaflets. I am aware of a subscriber who took out subscription a number of years ago and is paying £49.99 per half year. My opinion is by increasing subscriptions for long standing customers they are able to offer lower subscriptions to new subscribers.
