Excellent gym. I was in England for a week as I was staying with my parents and I was looking for a gym.
PureGym had a good price for 7 days.
I used the gym in Sudbury. The location was very convenient and it is free parking.
They gym was very clean and has all the necessary equipment. I would definitely use this gym again and can highly recommend it.

Equipment was always clean and staff were doing a good job of cleaning them also.
Equipment is easy to use and if not, the instructions explain clearly on them.
Staff are always eager to give advice on things like correct technique and the right nutrition and are happy to give examples/outlines of things that can help each individual achieve their goals.

Overall great experience and am looking forward to going again!

I travel across England for my work and work out at the nearest PureGym whereever i am. Today i was in Preston. I want to shout out to the 2 PTs who i spoke to briefly outside in the carpark. They saw i had left my car unlocked and windows open while i went back into the gym. The guys kept an eye out and only went back insude when they saw me come out. I did say a quick thanks as i knew they did that for me without me asking and that was really decent of them. Great gym with a great members. I will definately be back. If you read this guys you are both gents. Thank you

Overpriced gyms with overused equipment. I've been to many PureGyms and almost every single one has been disappointing. Not worth the price.

Amazing facilities and lots of support to be found for a beginner. Through the app its very easy to sign up to classes and setup exercise plans, making the experience a lot less overwhelming

This is my second summer training here and still they skimp on the air con.The amount of people complaining yet they just ignore them it's like a sweat box .Rude arrogant staff .The owner only responds to positive comments doesn't want to rectify the air con issues. Yet in the advert it says train in a cool air condition gym ???

The Wood Green branch is absolutely abysmal, not a care for their clients, they do not respond to emails and you have to chase them up multiple times and still nothing. Highly unprofessional.
Signed up to the gym 2 weeks ago, tried to organize induction to start gym, however they told me the lifts are not working and would organize for me to go to another branch, since then have not heard a peep from there despite emailing them and calling them multiple times. DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM AT ALL!

Great for the price. However recently classes are being cancelled last minute, and there seems to be a high turnover of instructors leaving which makes you wonder why?

I am not your typical lover of exercise, but that being said I really enjoy going to Pure Gym for a few reasons... 1) I go with my friend. 2) the staff are super friendly and encouraging. 3) all the equipment is well looked after and maintained. 4) it's is the best for monetary value also.

I have dealt with the customer service people at PureGym a few times now and, even though it’s occasionally taken a bit of pushing, they’ve always worked hard to find a solution that works for me. After a recent problem, I didn’t find the solution I was looking for. Then I was transferred to Anja who showed kindness and understanding of my situation and helped me out hugely. Thank you!

I just love puregym Doncaster. I'd highly recommend it to anyone! The equipment is top quality and the staff are all friendly and happy to assist you and chat with you. I'll keep going until I can't anymore! Love it!

Firstly the staff always make you feel welcome. Professional throughout with underpinning knowledge. Not only do they look the part, Great to see the staff practice what they preach. Good range of equipment for everyone. No waiting around. Always have a great workout.

Be very careful once you’ve signed up you will be offered multiple times to upgrade for a month for free but it isn’t for free because of how their billing works. They’ll always charge you extra B8 pound £10. £15 so just don’t do it. You complain to them and they just blame on their Bill system which really has nothing to do with what I’m free month should be a free month is a free month i.e. you don’t pay for that month not you don’t pay for that month if you upgrade on the day that your Bill comes out exactly on the same day and then cancel it exactly on the day before your billing ends.

So disappointing with the customer service received as I cancel my membership and still charged me when was cancelled and would not refund me, the treatment I got from then was so rude made me feel like I was an idiot

PureGym’s customer service is an absolute joke and rock bottom. They don't work on weekends, there is no phone support, and email responses take forever.
​A little over a week ago, I bought an Off-Peak monthly membership, paid upfront. I ran into access issues at the gym, so I decided to upgrade to a Core membership. That’s when the nightmare began: my account was randomly blocked, and then my membership was completely cancelled—even though I had almost three weeks remaining that I had already paid for.
​When I tried to resolve this with customer support, their "solution" was for me to buy a brand new membership again, offering only to reduce the joining fee next month. Not a single word about refunding the money I had already paid!
​It feels like an absolute scam—they basically stole £25.99 from me. Avoid this company at all costs!
