Clearly there’s a problem!
I had pre booked a mot and service on line weeks prior for my 10 am appointment today. I was hoping to wait for my car till it was finished. The manager I was told was off until the following Tuesday hence the general manager chis? Spoke with me. He said I would have 3/4 hr wait as they had (I believe he said) two mechanics? I told him I wasn’t prepared to wait that long so asked him not to do the service, hoping he would come back wanting to keep my business, I was wrong! he had no problem with cancelling this. He clearly did not have customer service experience.
I chose to wait in my car until the mot man collected it, I would like to say he was extremely pleasant, for that I thank him.
I phoned customer services to make a complaint , the lady came back agreeing they only had in two mechanic’s so why wasn’t I phoned prior to coming in if they didn’t have adequate time? I decided to take a walk and saw 4/5 men working on different cars? I took pictures as I couldn’t believe it. I phoned customer services again and spoke to a gentleman, I explained what I had been told wasn’t true. He was going to add this to my complaint , I’m now waiting to hear from the area manager, not that it’s going to help me now!
I have returned home disgusted and without my car being serviced!
I like to say I have been going to pro tyre for a few years and was always pleased before.
This morning has proved to me they are not able to run a business professionally or efficiently.
October 6th I have not had a call or a letter from when I made my complaint? This proves they don’t carry out any customer services complaints as a matter of importance!!!!!!
October 13th I phoned customer services again last week asking for a call back from whoever was dealing with my complaint, still have had no communication from them just as well I don’t give up!!
I will continue with my updates until I get a response….in the meantime be careful with this company as complaints are ignored!!
21st October no surprise i still haven’t received a letter or a call from customer services!
They can’t even up date their reply on here?
3rd November
i received a call last week and was told i would get a call back later in the week…..still waiting!!🙄
6th Nov
Just a had a call this morning!! This person was clearly not a manager or someone in the position to talk to the public regarding complaints! i found him very rude so chose to cut the call.
Thankfully through all this i have found a fantastic garage near to me, with EXCELLENT customer services and exceptional prices.
If I could take the one star off i would.
Be warned if you go here take into account complaints are not dealt with!

Lack of communication let Protyre down
Online booking system really easy and clear to use, I had booked my daughters car in for two tyres to be replaced at 3pm. When asked if I was going to wait I asked how long it would take and told about an hour. I asked to be notified by mobile when job completed, number was checked on the screen to enable this to happen. I did not receive a call, I tried to phone the branch but was on hold in a queue so drove to the branch at 4.30pm to find it was closed. The car was sat on the forecourt but I was unable to collect it as keys were in the building. My daughter was without her car that evening and all the next day (as closed Sunday). When I contacted the branch 8.30 Monday morning, I explained the situation, the employee apologised (even though he wasn’t there on Saturday) and offered to pick me up to collect the car, which I greatly appreciated as didn’t have a way to get there. I am happy with the work that has been completed but should have received a call as promised or at least been informed that closing time was 4pm on a Saturday so I would need to collect the car before this time.

I had a problem with a refund and gave an initial low review, but Eddie resolved this in 1 day for me. That's great customer focused service and the staff at Cabot Lane in Poole are friendly and courteous and rather than do work that was not required when they could have, they came right back and said no, so my pre-paid work is now refunded and I would highly recommend Cabot Lane branch and Eddie in customer service. What a guy, thank you Eddie.

Great service and price as usual
Great service and price as usual, website is very easy to use, ordering, booking and payment easy and quick.
Coffee and toilet facilities are good while you wait and very helpful staff too.
Only thing that is a let down now, is that they don't have a bike mechanic to remove wheels, had to do it myself and drive/delivery wheels and refit.
Wasn't all bad 1st time taking wheels off a bike and learnt a few things doing it.
