I really enjoyed my process of receiving a small business loan from Prospa, the initial application was quick and easy, the following customer service I received from Saxon was incredible, totally unmatched from any other service I've received from other providers across the board. Along with the final payment process with the funds being made available in record time. Made my first additional payment via the app and the interface is easy to navigate and understand. Completely blown away with Prospa and their entire process top to bottom.

Totally upsetting
Totally upsetting, that a company we were using from 2 years not a single payment decline or late, they rejected by saying we look 400 different reasons to pass the renew, such a pointless thing to say, not recommended at all,

unprofessional & look for 400 different reasons to pass the renew
i was using the prospa for 2 years, now it was time to renew it, and they said 400 reasons to look for pass the application which is totally not true, i said i was on time never declined anywhere and never late payment, they said it is not the reflection that you are good customer, thats how unprofessional their words are, they do not value long term customers, cannot provide clear or transparent reasoning, relies on generic excuses instead of actual assessment, shows no accountability or consistency in decision making, it raises serious questions about prospa,s reliability and fairness, i would not recommend prospa to anyone, give your staff training how to talk professionally with customers and give exact reason why it not processed further, not 400 reasons as told by your uneducated staff member,

Very poor service from Prospa.
My business finance application took around one month. They made many calls and kept asking for documents, but gave no clear update or decision.
In the end it was declined, but that was not the main problem. The problem was the poor communication and wasted time. I only got a response after making a complaint, and even then it was difficult to get clear information.
Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend Prospa based on my experience.

The team was super helpful
The team was super helpful, the process was efficient and my request for the amount i needed was accepted without concerns. Mohammed was extremely helpful by taking the time and effort with our changing plans and we appreciated his patience and ability to make everything happen for us the way we wanted it to by offering other options. Have had a great experrience with Prospa in the past to buy equipment for my business and they were fantastic then. Another fantastic experience with this request.

Loan cost ended up much higher than initially stated
I am sharing my experience as a small business borrower. I was initially told the loan interest rate was around 19.99%, which I understood to be the true annual cost of borrowing.
However, after my accountant reviewed the loan structure and repayments, it appeared that the effective annual borrowing cost was closer to 34.77%.
This higher effective rate was not clearly explained to me in simple terms during the application process, and I did not personally understand it from the way the contract and calculations were presented. While the contract included technical details such as daily rate formulas, I believe the overall cost was not made clear in a straightforward way for an ordinary business owner.
I encourage anyone considering a business loan to carefully check the total repayment amount and specifically ask for the effective APR before signing any agreement.
I am sharing this so other small business owners can make fully informed decisions.

As you know we internally investigated your matter previously which involved reviewing the loan documentation and recorded discussions during the application. Our review confirmed that key loan terms - such as the daily rate (page 1 of the loan agreement), total repayment amount (page 1 of the loan agreement), and explanation of how an annualised rate can be calculated (daily rate x 365) - were disclosed before the loan was accepted, and the loan was administered in line with the agreed terms.
We would also like to note that you requested additional time to review the loan agreement, consider the offer, and ask questions before proceeding, and Prospa accommodated this request. Based on our review of the documentation and calls, we found the process to be compliant.
We recognise that different ways of expressing borrowing costs can be complex, and we encourage all prospective customers to review total repayments carefully and seek independent advice to ensure the product suits their needs. Our team remains available to support customers who wish to discuss their loan or repayment options.
