Proplates Anmeldelser

Very helpful customer service and able to create exactly what I wanted. Arrived within three days, fitted to car and looks great

Ordered many of times from ProPlates now. Never had any issues. I recommend them massively 👏

Excellent Service, I had a really difficult request on some show plates that I did think were impossible to accomplish, I sent the impossible request into ProPlates and to my surprise Danielle came back with a 'No Problem, we can do that'. sent me an approval email and they were just perfect. Just superb, no hassle, no faffing about, it was a yes and here they are. 5*+ if that's possible,

Highly recommended these guys, several email exchanges and received my plates as ordered.
And brilliant quality, not going to lie, responses do take a day. but stick with it. the product is worth the wait.
I will be using again. Thanks Guys.

Very good service and an easy website to use. Customer service with regard to design assistance was excellent , it may not be instant but it is very helpful and effective. The plate was exactly as required and it arrived quickly. In fact I have ordered a second plate.

Great service , got plates made up to exactly how I wanted , Danielle was very helpful with a couple of different options to chose from. And plates came within a week of me ok,n the design.

Would definitely use again

Absolutely fantastic company. They will actually go through a true design process with you if they don't already have what you want. They provide design proofs for approval, to get you to a point you have the custom design you want. A true custom plate company where most aren't. I used them for my own car and now use them to provide our motor vehicle company with branded reg plates as well

Beware

When placing the order with proplate, I mentioned in the 'notes section' for them to pay attention to the spacing of the GB logo & car model logo sign to make sure everything was symmetrical, as it was obvious the two logos on the left and right were not symmetrical, when I use their online number plate builder tool..

I even sent them follow up email straight after I received my order confirmation just to confirm thry has received my notes when I placed the order. No one responded to my follow-up email..

To my extreme frustration the number plates have arrived today and not only have they not made the changes to my original request on the order (making sure both logos were symmetrical, they also mixed up the sizes of the number plates.

This is the second time this company has made a mistake as I had a previous error on a number plate a few years ago from them, which they never corrected.

No issues with the service or quality of the number plates purchased but the road legal number plates are questionable. Website states that they meet DVLA BSAU standards of which one includes printing of the number plate manufacturer’s name and postcode on the plates. The postcode printed on the plates is A91 EF88 which, on a Google search is in Ireland and does not appear to be associated with Pro Plates or any other number plate manufacturer with that postcode which seems dodgy.

In their terms of service section on the website, it states:

“Due to stringent restrictions of trade placed upon the 'Company' by the DVLA, all registration plates, legal or otherwise will be sold to the 'Purchaser' on the basis of being for show use only and the 'Purchaser' may risk prosecution if the registration plates are used on the UK highway.”

Basically, they are saying that their ‘legal’ plates are sold for show use only and that by using them on UK roads may risk prosecution despite mentioning that they sell road legal plates.

With these findings, I feel like there is deception in the advertisement and therefore deem this company untrustworthy which is a shame as the products seem decent.

Nicely made plate, prompt delivery but my request for specific details (within their parameters - alignment and colour) was completely ignored. I even asked that I be contacted before despatch in case clarification was needed. I won't use them again if they can't get basic instructions correct.

My second time using pro plates and can’t fault the communication an quick response in replying to messages.

Top quality plates and shipped out quickly can’t fault these in anyway

Won’t use any one else to make my plates.

Order with confidence with this company

Needed a custom size sticker plate but with a black border and these guys came through! Bespoke made to order plates within days 👌🏾

Couldn’t ask for better honesty, quick shipping, helpful staff, and really good quality plates, cheaper ones on eBay etc but the quality and customer service is appalling, will only ever get plates from PROPLATES, as I know I’ll never be disappointed

Excellent service, quality plates and about half the price of many merchants you'll find on the first page of a Google search. Superb all round and I'll definitely be recommending them to anyone who asks for a plates maker on the web.

2nd set I have ordered, good quality, fast delivery, great customer service. Resolved a problem I had swiftly. Thanks again, I’m sure I will be back.

Company has definitely gone downhill recently. Tried contacting them via email and messenger. Responses are slow (talking days, not hours) and sometimes there’s no response at all. Messages are seen but just left on read instead of being replied to. As of yet I still haven’t received my order. They used to be good for plates a few years ago, but with the current complete lack of customer service, I can’t recommend anyone uses them at the moment. If you do have issues, you’ll be waiting weeks for a response or a resolution

Ordered 2nd time from Proplates well packed very quick delivery great quality! Recommended

I've used pro-plates twice before without too much issue but things seem to have gone fairly badly downhill. Placed an order over 10 days ago, still no plates. Response to email takes in excess of a day, phone number doesn't work. What's worse is the dishonesty, I was sent tracking information on Friday after chasing but nothing had actually left the warehouse, a barcode had just been generated to make it seem like a problem with the courier, not with pro-plates. Eventually the package went to Despatch bay 4/5 days later and now sits there until they decide to hand over to Hermes.

If I ever receive the plates that are now apparently with despatch bay, but not yet with Hermes as the package is 'delayed at a national hub', I may adjust my review, but can quite happily say I will NEVER use this company again. Utterly terrible aftersales service and turnaround time.

This is the second set of plates i have ordered from pro plates. The first arrived with no issue but the second were printed on the wrong format. I used the online message board to let the company know and send a photo of the plates to show what the issue was. Louise and Danielle responded to me within 24 hours and new plates are already sent out with no quibbles. Simple mistake but easily rectified, I would recommend proplates to anyone.

Excellent service and plates look great.
Thank you Danielle
