Its about making money..very efficient

I purchased a ‘Ring Video Doorbell’ through EBay recently and had a happy experience with it, very reliable and easy to set up…After a few months I was told I need to subscribe $50 a year if I wish to see who comes to my front door! This fee was never advertised as a must do after using the doorbell for 6 months and as an octogenarian I feel quite ripped off now having to pay $50 a year on top of my original not cheap purchase! So unless I want to just use it as a doorbell only I have to pay $50 a year! Which isn’t a great expense but a hidden one for a very old 81 year old pensioner purchaser like me!

I moved into my apartment just over a year ago. The building itself was barely two years old, so all appliances, including my integrated Miele dishwasher, were still relatively new.

A couple of months ago, the dishwasher suddenly broke down. Unfortunately, it had only been out of warranty for about two months. When I contacted Miele, I was disappointed to be told that I would need to pay an exorbitant call-out fee just to have someone inspect the machine.

Instead, I organised for a more affordable independent technician to assess it. The diagnosis was that the motherboard needs replacing, a major repair that is so costly it’s actually cheaper to buy a brand-new dishwasher.

Given the age of the appliance, this is extremely disappointing. You expect far better longevity and reliability from a premium brand like Miele. I also felt the company could have been far more proactive or goodwill-driven in offering support, especially given the machine had only just fallen out of warranty.

Very disappointed with both the product and the after-sales service. Sadly, I won’t be purchasing Miele again.

Product never received. Being supposedly delivered by Australia Post and returned to sender because not at home, you would have received the product back. No refund, no redelivery. Shonky business, will never deal with these thieves again. Hoping on hope you choke on the $1000 ,and your family enjoys the cancer your cursed with now.

Everything Keratin - website is a scam. It’s not Australian and products are not what they say they are. Expired and not sealed products at an expensive price ticket.

Anyone buying online from SHEIN I would think twice due to incompetence of delivery of goods

Kogan team is extremely frustrating. They delivered a mattress protector and bedsheet without the mattress, and asked me to pay return fees,even though they failed to deliver the mattress for over a month and told me to wait another month. Meanwhile, the same mattress is still listed on their website, now cheaper than what I paid during boxing day sale. Poor communication, illogical process — not recommended.

Such a terrible platform that incentivises people to leave reviews and allows bots to create fake reviews while refusing to moderate or remove bogus reviews.

Steer clear from ProductReview.com.au. They allow reviewers to post blatant lies on their platform. Even when provided with clear and undisputable evidence showing a customer is lying, they still refuse to either moderate or remove the review.
If ProductReview wants to be taken seriously, they need to actually enforce their posting guidelines and offer stronger support for users who flag clearly problematic content. Until then, this site isn’t reliable and shouldn’t be trusted as a meaningful consumer resource.

The product sounded great, and a Dr explained at length how it was more effective than oxempic with no side effects & was completely natural. Rebel Wilson told her story of how the Dr had put her onto Burn Peak, & she had lost huge amounts of weight. They said you just take 1-2 tablets in the morning & can continue to eat normally (not having to give up the foods you love) & loose weight quickly. I ordered it 16th Oct ( figured 2 months to Christmas i should look fabulous for the silly season). I did not miss one tablet (2 daily) & also did not loose 1 kg of weight! By 16th of Dec with still no results, i replied to an email i received from the company Dr & asked for a full refund. No reply was made & no refund was made from Cart Panda. After Christmas (& my daughter having my first grandchild 5 weeks premature) i finally had some time to chase my refund up. I searched my bank payment details & this time sent my refund request to Cart Panda, as they were on the invoice receipt ( 16th Jan 26) they promptly replied that their refund policy is 60 days, so i was not eligible for a refund. I replied & attached the email where i requested the refund on the 16th Dec (exactly 60 days from purchase, but much less than 60 days from receiving the product & actually taking it). The customer service person ‘Kristel’ must have almost considered this for 5 minutes tops & replied immediately that she was sorry it was out of the 60 days for a refund. We are talking $496 AU with shipping for something which did not work! I had after purchasing Burn Peak, heard Rebel Wilson used as a celebrity example again of how a different named product was responsible for her large weight loss. It is clear that these are probably all scams & fake. I thought i had picked an authentic product which a Dr described in great detail the metabolic processes that allowed the body to loose weight safely & easily.
Do not fall for these Scams & companies like Cart Panda should be banned for not honouring their refund policies. I hope the Ombudsman can do something to get my refund back.

Its better than nothing and useful if you can sniff out the fakes and the drama queens .
In other words take out every 5 star review they are fakes.
Reviews of actual products like electrical goods are OK.
When you criticise a product the company will have a bot with the usual about how sorry they are blah blah your experience.
Lets face it most airlines are just OK except Jetstar which is shit.
All phone companies make you wait forever if something goes wrong except Telstra when no one helps ever.
All dating sites are scams that is the business model there are too many and none are honest.
Ebay is just a depot for Aliexpress with 3x the price All banks are aholes if you can understand the person at the other end..

Tumme sent me multiple products automatically deducted from my account and refused to refund.

I would like to acknowledge after my previous review of Uzzle that I was finally contacted and apologies made for the lack of delivery of the game and I was offered a part refund and they have since forwarded the game today. After 6 weeks. They have now changed freight companies I believe which was the problem and the game was delivered in 10days .

Iam disabled, hence do all my shopping on line! Usually with 100% customer satisfaction!However saw this Australian company & their products promoted on facebook -'freeze dried treats for dogs & cats. Ordered 3 different products for my 4 cats. 2 x chicken necks, 1 x kangaroo cookies, 1 x chicken hearts. They quiete like the kangaroo cookies, but none of my 4 cats will touch the chicken necks, or chicken hearts. Spoke to manager today to give honest feedback and ask if I could please get a credit? He was very rude , definitely not. told him would write a review. Ok will do acredit in 2 days. Don't believe him,but if Iam wrong will apologise. I still think their products may not warrant the purchase, so buyer beware!

We stayed at Bacchus Marsh Caravan Park (Victoria) in a large chalet it was quite big and we were a party of 7 very clean and tidy and only minutes from the town centre

Nice product but making false claims that the body oil will reverse crepey skin, which they claim is a result of dehydration.

Bought a watch from VIP Replica Watches Australia (china based). Also call themselves Replica Watches Australia and I could not set the date but the crown allowed the time to be set. Multiple emails to the business and all they did was waste our time with responses which were often condescending and some which were completely wrong.

They also say that they quality inspect every watch and they have a no questions asked return policy, but truth be told it is a load of rubbish. They will respond to your emails but never accept responsibility and the 14 days grace they offer for returns is quickly worn away. Early in our email exchanges they asked for a video to show that the crown wasn’t changing the date and we provided this immediately. They still didn’t offer an exchange or even ask us to send it back for a review. Instead they wasted more time with a day or two between their replies and offered generally useless advice, or just repeated what had already been said. Now the icing on the cake is, them asking today for another video to prove the watch wasn’t working. One video clearly isn’t enough!! 🤦‍♂️

We even asked about their return policy which states “no reason asked if you would like to return your watch for a full refund or exchange for a new watch”. In this policy they also say they will provide a return address, but based upon my experience that is not very likely to ever happen. They even said in a recent email reply that returns can be so time consuming. Says a lot I think.

I am extremely disappointed with this experience.

I purchased the Neso Grande after being advised it was suitable for windy beach conditions. I followed all instructions precisely and, at the company’s request, provided photos and video to demonstrate correct setup.

Despite this, the company ultimately acknowledged what I had been raising from the outset. In windy conditions, the sandbags are pulled inward, effectively turning the tent into a sail. This directly contradicts how the product is promoted.

I raised my rights under Australian Consumer Law, making it clear that a product must perform as described and fit for the purpose it is marketed for. The responses that followed were evasive and avoided taking responsibility. Even when Matt, the designer, joined the email thread, he confirmed the same issue with wind pulling the sandbags in.

All I requested was a refund, as the product does not match its description. Under Australian Consumer Law, I should not be required to pay an additional $179 to return a faulty product in order to receive a $239 refund.

Buyers should be aware that this product is only suitable in calm conditions, which is rarely the case on Australian beaches. Based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing it.

I bought the Detox Energizing Tea from Lulutox in early December because I had previously bought an order from them online and had no problem. But this time it was very different. Due to a mix up AU$270.90 was sent from my bank account for the product that when the exchange rate was taken into consideration should have been only just over AU $ 168. I wrote to them often and explained the wrong amount was taken and could they please refund the balance back to my account. After many emails I was told that Lulutox does not refund any money once the parcel was sent and received. So I am just warning people to not buy anything from Lulutox. I had even sent them a copy of part of my bank statement showing the amount of money paid to Lulutox but they still refused to refund my money. I have kept all the emails etc as proof of what I have written, and I can send a copy to anyone interested in buying anything from Lulutox, so they do not make the same mistake as I made thinking they were and honest company. I found their ad online and bought the first product from them and had no problem. But things changed when I re bought from them. So please read this and do not become another victim. Hoppyroo
