Was subjected to a very embarrassing encounter with the restaurant manager.
Arrived at my booked time to find a very long queue. After @15 mins people started to go in but stopped when myself and husband got to the front. Was told by 2 passing staff that we’d be seated shortly. Got the attention of the manager and tried to explain we’d been queuing for 20mins and wanted to know when we’d be seated. She was instantly on the defensive being very sarcastic asking if we’d been stood in the exact spot for this time. I said no of course not but our booking was for 7pm and it was now 7.20pm. At this point she accused me of being aggressive towards her and she said she was refusing us entry because she wasn’t having herself or her staff treated in an aggressive manner. I told her we had a pre paid for voucher that my mother had bought us for an anniversary but she said she still wasn’t letting us in. I was very upset as there were students in the queue behind us that I teach and I never shouted or even raised my voice, I only asked a simple question based on it being 20mins later than my booked reservation time. She eventually allowed us to be seated stating very loudly that it was only because of the pre booked voucher. I broke down in tears because I felt so humiliated for something I had not done. She came over after 10mins to take our drinks order and again said she felt I was being aggressive and attacking her, then proceeded to say she didn’t want to spoil our evening so happy vibes. No apology but still making her point which had, was and did ruin our evening. If it wasn’t for the money my mother had spent we’d have walked away when she first attacked us at the door. I felt the rest of the evening we were being punished because there were excessive long periods between courses. We spent 2.45hrs on a meal time that should have been half this time.

We visited the Prezzo restaurant in Witham last Saturday.
The best part of our visit was undoubtedly the staff all of whom were attentive and very polite.
Our main server was Goran who served each dish with a smile and was happy to engage with us about the food offer and his recommendations. he was really great!

My favourite Prezzo is in Trowbridge. Always greeted with a warm friendly smile. We have been served by Andreea
several times now, she is helpful, polite and sweet, Even on busy days she makes sure that the meal is good and ask if we need anything. Full marks

Booking online was easy. Restaurant @ Hemel Hempstead was very clean and good atmosphere. Staff nice and friendly. Good choice of food and drinks. Very tasty - no issues at all.

TWO ISSUES......FOOD & ONLINE CUSTOMER SERVICE.......
I wrote a review a few months ago about a horrendous experience I had at Prezzo Weymouth. To be honest Adam Lindop (I think the Operations Manager) who I'm lead to believe is relatively new to Prezzo, took the time to personally call me to discuss the issue which I was happy about. I left the conversation feeling that he had listened to my experience and really cared about its customers. I believe he will be an asset to Prezzo

However and unfortunately I find I am having to review negatively again......

Firstly I wanted to say I visited the Trowbridge Prezzo on Wednesday 20th August. The restaurant has the new branding, was clean with a nice vibe and the staff so lovely but the food.......ingredients have been cut to an inch of their life. There are way too many discount vouchers being thrown around to get bums on seats but almost to the brands detriment. Now I love a deal but not if my food is way below par and to a point where it's not enjoyed.

The other issue I have is the online customer service. Dear oh dear what on earth has happened? I had a £50 gift voucher and had only used £25 (In the Bath branch) I wanted to use the other £25 towards my Trowbridge drinks but using the Prezzo gift card checker it came up INVALID

Prior to my Trowbridge visit, on 18th August I used the Prezzo online messaging service to ask if they could help with the issue . I had an automated email response to say that the message had been received and I would get a response within 3 days. I believe this is too long for a response but anyway no response was received so I sent another message on Friday 22nd August to chase. Another automated response received. Today is 31st August and there has been NO RESPONSE!!!!!

I was a long time user of this chain but sadly PREZZO you need to do better and quickly as you will sink.......Sadly the business is failing due to poor food and lack of customer care. The Prezzo app has now been deleted from my phone as is my subscription to their newsletters.....I will not return

Please don’t get a takeaway from Prezzo in Whiteley - food cold and very poor, also one pizza missing. Phoned to complain and Scott very rude and offered no help at all.

We went to prezzo meridian park leicester last night 17th August we booked a table,

The service was slow and the restaurant wasn’t busy they sat us down and it took nearly 15mins to order drinks

The starters where nice but they didn’t get cleared for nearly half hour after we finished

The main where very bland and not what I was expecting again after we finished another 20 minutes to clear and asked if we wanted dessert,
The desserts where nice

Over all the service for a Sunday night which was quite was shocking the food mediocre
I would find it hard to visit again paying 70 pounds including service charge for 2 people not a great experience staff should be more engaging instead of spending most there time eating or speaking to the chefs

If anyone is thinking of taking advantage of the Kids Eat Free at Prezzo, beware you don’t get it automatically.

Really misleading as while it states T&C’s apply it doesn’t actually tell you where to obtain a code for the offer and no one explains anything when you are seated or when you order.

No one asked for any codes at payment or even asked if we were club members

Zero Stars and would not recommend. Poorest loyalty service I’ve ever come across

Te food served up is a far cry from what it should be. A simple Brochieta should be a wonderful starter with lovely simple flavours, but here it was the quality of the ingredients which made it less than what it should be. In this day and age the right ingredients can be found. A few cherry size tomatoes, lacking the depth and sweetness, and a squirt of Pesto does not come close. Due to the lack of choice, my pasta dish was a bland Spaghetti Bolonese instead of an Amatriciana or Spaghetti Al Vongola.
I will not be visiting a Prezzo restaurant again.

Just returned from Prezzo Lincoln, served by Millie. Friendly and efficient service; great food - not just pizza and pasta: feather-blade beef and goats cheese salad with chicken were both excellent. Fantastic cocktails made from scratch (take note, Pizza Express), and brilliant rewards on the Club Prezzo App (take note, Ask Italian!). Great food and great fun 😊

The food was awful. Ceasar salad was dry and tasteless. Spicy hot pizza had very little in the way of toppings and was sweet. Hard to imagine how this could have been worse. Servuce was excellent but could not compensate in any way.

I went yesterday for the first time to Prezzo in Euston. The service was alright. However, the food was awful. A portion of tasteless and meatless gluten-free fusilli bolognese for £19.00 🤯 I will never go there ever again.Well overpriced!

Fab meal, great service. Went to the Lymington branch of Prezzo for a birthday lunch and found a friendly atmosphere and very helpful staff. The food was amazing, very tasty and well presented. Would recommend this branch of Prezzo.

Prezzo Hinckley.
We got this as an experience gift. We booked through the experience company. The menu was restricted because of this. We had a three course meal. But there was something both of us wanted for each course and the food could not be faulted. We really enjoyed our food. The staff and service was excellent. They even gave us the choice of table and we felt welcome in this restaurant.
A very good evening and we will return again.

Went to Prezzos in Bury St Edmunds around 2 weeks ago.It was about 5pm so quite early. We only ordered a main course. My husband ordered the very meaty Calzone with a side of fries….there was no side salad served with this. Also as for very meaty! well he had around 4 pieces of chicken in it, and a few bits of Pepperoni, cheese etc…He opened it up and it looked almost empty.Even the guy sitting at the next table commented on its contents, saying, I’m glad I didn’t order that. To say my husband was disappointed would be an understatement. He had tap water with his meal as he doesn’t drink alcohol. I had the spaghetti bolognaise with a side order of fries and a fancy lemonade. Mine was ok but nothing to write home about, and not much of it, in fact I make better at home myself. The service was fine and the meal came quite quickly as it wasn’t very busy. The bill came to £50 which to be honest was a joke. Prezzo was our go to whenever we went into Bury, in fact I had my hen night there. I will not be going there again, as far as I’m concerned it was a rip off.

Fantastic service and amazing food.

Had a terrible experience at the Bury St Edmunds Prezzo yesterday. I cannot eat dairy or wheat. The waiter was helpful with my order and I ordered Gluten Free garlic bread. (The waiter said that I could have oil and not butter on the bread); salad, humus and red pepper for my main meal and a bowl of chips. Whilst taking our orders, he sneezed on his hands and continued with taking the order. (I was going to take my spray bottle of sanitizer out of my bag and ask him if he wanted some on his hands but didn't. Instead I sprayed everything he touched what he brought to me (glass, knife and fork). When my lunch arrived, I dipped my bread in what I thought was the humous but it was garlic butter! Couldn't see the humus as hardly a teaspoon full on my plate. The salad was a handful of rocket leaves and the pepper was 3/4 tiny slivers! The chips were cold too. I know I should have complained then and there and I usually do if I am not satisfied. I don't normally write reviews but today I am. Since some prezzos have been closed and menus changed I do not find these places any joy anymore and I certainly won't be going to any in the future.

We popped in and really couldn't fault the staff they were lovely. Sadly a lack of staff and the ones working were doing their best. The meal was okay but nothing to rave about. We preferred to pay by cash but was told card only. The waitress told us that many walked out as they wanted to pay by cash. I'm afraid
we won't be back and will go to places that accept legal tender and support smaller restaurants. Customer pushback with profits affected has caused several chains to revert back to cash. Guessing things can change very quickly whatever chain you are.

Haverhill. It was a very hot evening and we were seated conveniently neat to an open door with a light breeze. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was lovely and hot. Good breaks in between service of courses. Discount voucher accepted without issues.
