Not the first time I have used Portsmouth Tarantulas, but have to say that every time I have their service is spot on. As the critters are tropical they make sure that they only post when the weather is warm enough overnight so that you don’t end up with a dead animal in your package. The tarantulas were all sent double boxed in their own little tubes and when they were released they were immediately active and investigating their little tanks. Will definitely use again in a few weeks when my next enclosures are ready.

Ordered from Portsmouth tarantulas for the first time to add to my collection and I can say they are brilliant the spiders turned up when they said they would in perfect condition well packed and safe happy everything I ordered was there and the tarantulas are now happy in their enclosures safe will deffo order from them again happily

One of the best in the business, recently got my largest tarantula from here and she (gender unknown i’m just saying she) is absolutely beautiful, so healthy and i know they don’t show too many emotions but she seems really happy.. always out and about exploring her big tank. I had some confusion with how much cork bark she’d need for the perfect tube so i called to ask for advice and i spoke to such a lovely gentleman who reassured me and pointed me in the right direction, customer service wise i have never felt happier. Now for the most important part how the tarantula was shipped, i am beyond impressed.. she was packaged the best i have ever received from anywhere i’ve ever purchased. snug as a bug in a rug she was, insulted perfectly. it was just perfect, the whole experience was fantastic and i cannot wait to purchase more

Absolutely great service, I ordered myself 3 t's, which was processed quickly. After a few hours, I received a text message to say the weather was too cold to transport and that they would try to dispatch them the following day as the weather forecast was looking better. I would say they care a lot about the health and wellbeing of any t's they sell, ensuring that we the customer get the t's in the best condition.

Lovely people to deal with, very helpful and friendly. Always found my tarantulas have been well cared for, never sent got if it’s not warm enough . Have had a large number of Ts from these guys and I’m always very happy with them over the years .

This company put the Tarantulas wellbeing first, way above any sales etc. I purchased a couple of slings and one being more sensitive than most. They won't ship out until weather reports are stable and look promising and any decent person will agree, it's better to wait than rush and have a loss.
