I have rarely experienced such a poor purchasing experience as with Photospecialist.
I placed an order on April 9th with a promised delivery time of 3–7 business days (after already having issues with their payment link). Things were off to a bad start from the beginning.
On April 10th, I was told the package had been handed over to the carrier—and again on April 11th I received the same message. However, on April 13th I could see via the shipping company that the package had only just been received. I called customer service to confirm this and asked them to send me an email confirmation—which I never received. At the same time, we corrected my email address in their system, as it was incorrect.
On April 16th, I called again to get an update. I was told they would investigate the issue and send me a confirmation the same day. I never heard back.
On April 18th, I called once more. This time, a representative assured me that the package had left the Netherlands and promised to send confirmation by email. Once again—nothing.
On April 21st, I could see for myself that the package had been rejected and was being returned to the sender. When I called customer service, they initially claimed everything was fine. Only after a long discussion did they realize that the package was indeed being returned. At the same time, I discovered that my email address still hadn’t been corrected—despite multiple attempts. The representative couldn’t even fix it and transferred me to a colleague, after which the call was simply disconnected.
When I called back, I was told it was an “unfortunate situation,” but that they couldn’t have done anything differently. I requested to cancel the order and get a refund, but they refused until they had received the returned package—one that I never even received. This means that after 12 days, I still have no product, and now I am expected to wait up to two more weeks for my money.
I have spent a significant amount of money on a camera that I never received, while dealing with a customer service team that repeatedly promises follow-ups and never delivers.
Please note that the exact dates may not be fully accurate, as I never received any email confirmations. Despite correcting my email address multiple times, customer service claimed it was not possible to resend any of the missing confirmations—yet another example of the poor service I experienced.
I will never shop here again.
Order from photospecialist.ie thinking the 3/4 day delivery would be effective.
Turns out the store not even based in Ireland at all and they just used the .IE URL but is central based is in Holland.
I had to reach out to support two times about the shipping neither time were they able to provide me with a tracking number or confirming of package leaving the Wearhouse.
My item arrived today after two weeks with Christmas period. So I can't complain on that due how much traffic the Irish and European Postal service is under.
But I wish I knew they weren't based in Ireland or had some indication on there website on the header. I would have choose someone locally. I now have a product that I will use for sure in the future. But I needed it for a specific date and time 31st/1st Jan not the 5th sadly .
That's why I choose them I said brilliant Irish based even if was around 5/6/7/8 day shopping perfect with express delivery

I was a bit hesitant to order from Photospecialist due to some negative reviews, especially about delivery problems. But after contacting their customer service, I was impressed by how fast and professional their response was. I placed my order on Tuesday, it was shipped the same day, and I received it in Sweden by Thursday — super smooth!
The only small issue was that the package was slightly open when I picked it up, but that’s likely a UPS issue, not Photospecialist. Overall, very happy with my experience and I truly recommend them.

Har fortsat ikke fået noger svar og dermed heller ikke nogen vare, selvom den er betalt.

Jeg har netop købt et Fujifilm objektiv (XF 23mm f/1.4 R LM WR) fra Photospecialist, og i den forbindelse også benyttet mig af Fujis "cash back" kampagne, og alt forløb som det skulle.
Produktet er fint, var indpakket forsvarligt og leveret rettidigt. Alt forløb uden problemer.
Det eneste der var lidt besværligt var, at regne ud at leverandøren er placeret i Holland, så man skulle søge om Cashback på Fujis hollandske side (der er på hollandsk!! *GG*), og at Photospecialist er registreret som Kamera Express, men det er selvfølgelig ikke Photospecialist skyld, og skal ikke trække fra oplevelsen.

God og hurtig levering af Fuji kamera. Desværre store problemer med cash-back fra producenten. Dels fordi Photospecialist på deres "invoice" bruger dato for købet i US format, dvs. måned først og det accepterer Fujifilm ikke ift. cashback (og Photospecialist vil ikke ændre). Dels fordi køb hos Photospecialist i Tyskland efterfølgende gør det vanskeligt at bruge mit DK bankkonto til cashback.
Det ville være rart hvis Photospecialist hjalp internationale/EU kunder lidt mere eller i det mindste ikke gjorde det ekstra besværligt.
Som flere også skriver var jeg lidt skeptisk ved at bestille, men besparelserne gjorde at jeg gav det et skud.
Ordrebekræftelse kom først næste dag, og faktura måtte jeg efterlyse hos deres kundeservice. Høflig medhjælper var dog hurtig til at fremsende den.
Men ja, man bliver lidt forvirret af de forskellige "afdelinger" Photospecialist, Kamera-Express o.s.v.
Ordren blev leveret en uges tid.

I read lots of the negative reviews beforehand and it seemed like most were issues with the courier, rather than the company itself. Moreover, it seemed like the company made a genuine effort to deal with negative reviews and solve the problems. So, I decided to purchase a Fujifilm lens from Photospecialist and had a very positive experience.
Handover to the courier was handled efficiently and the price of the lens—even including the c.€15 delivery—was also very good. Will be very happy to look to Photospecialist again whenever I need new camera equipment, and I'm excited to try my new lens. Thank you for sorting everything with speed and transparency :)

I ordered a lens. Photospecialist was quick to obtain payment from my VIAS, but I never received the lens. When I asked Photospecialist for a tracking number and an explanation, they promised to look into the matter. Never heard from them again. Unfortunately my bank said I should have acted faster in contacting them to get the money back from my VISA payment. I was naive and dumb enough to give Photospecialist time to respond. That's almost 1.000 euros out the window...
Response to Photospecialist's reply: As my review states, I did actually contact you about ten days after shipment, but never heard from you again. Photospecialist just claims the parcel was handed over to me, but cannot give me a time, date and proof of delivery. Now time prevents you from repaying me!? Just the elusive answer any sloppy fraud would give!

I bought a 29 inch Monitor from Photospecialist and the website say 2 to 3 working days for delivery. its way past that timeline now and still counting and i am yet to receive the order. I specifically bought that product from them going by the time of delivery i was given, i am now behind schedule with the reason why i bought the monitor in the first place. I am utterly dissapointed

I have tried to get into contact with you guys. I got my order list email. I have bought a DJI FPV drone with a lot of gear.. Around 1300 euros in total. It has been more than 7 days and you promised an "get back to you" email within 2 days. I'm waiting for my track and trace email from you.. Or maybe you are going to blow me off as you have been with several of your customers? EVERYONE ELSE READING THIS.. check their facebook page.. its filled up with customers complaining.
I didn't know how to get in touch with you since you wouldn't answer my mails and messenges. I'm a goddamn student who have used a large scale of his savings on this drone. Please oh PLEASE answer me.

Jeg var meget skeptisk ved at handle med dette firma, idet anmeldelserne for Photospecialist - og deres øvrige sider med andre navne (Kamera-express osv) på Trustpilot, nærmest deler sig imellem 50% 5-star og 50% 1-star.
Jeg må dog sige at servicen er helt i top. Pakken kom næsten hurtigere fra holland/England, end en pakke sendt indenfor Danmarks ville - ca. 2,5 dag. Undervejs fik jeg 5 emails fra Photospecialist, med information om køb, kundebeskyttelse, forsendelse, faktura osv.
At disse emails, så havde 4 forskellige afsendere, er selvfølgelig lidt forvirrende, men ikke noget egentlig problem. For god ordens skyld lister jeg dem her:
