We booked early and the office Staff were really understanding and accommodating as we had Brownies with special needs. Everything we asked for was met meaning when we arrived it was an easy to settle into rooms and late meal
everything including the weather was brilliant. Organisation was really good, staff helpful and caring. Site and accommodation really clean and cared for. The Brownies had a mega super time with super memories to share with their families.

A great company, but it is a shame that the accommodation and some staff members let it down.

The accommodation for the young people was very poor, stains on sheets and bathrooms were very mouldy. It is certainly not value for money for schools to go. I have used the site several times now and this latest time was very poor.

I would definitely recommend PGL trips to other schools. There was an excellent range of activities for the children to take part in, including abseiling, zip wiring, and campfires, which kept everyone engaged and excited throughout. The food was very good, with no complaints at all, and the sleeping arrangements were comfortable and well-organised. The staff were friendly, supportive, and highly accommodating, which really contributed to the overall experience. Most importantly, all of the children had a fantastic time.

This is our 5th year of attending PGL sites for our residential trip. They are always so well organised and the staff are well trained, and lovely. The accommodation, food, and activities are all excellent and there really is nothing I can fault, especially the cost.

This was made fabulous for children because of the kind, caring and knowledgeable staff. As trip leader any anxieties I had were allayed. Good both day and night. Go to Bawdsey as it is a great site with a wonderful community culture.

The facilities were excellent, the activities well organised and staff friendly and helpful.

A great way for young and old to enjoy a family holiday, fun things to do all day from breakfast through to the bar in the evening. Twins and parents went to bed tired but smiling every evening food for everyone, activities for all interests from the calm to the dynamic, to the competitive to the individual challenge, thoughtful to the instinctive.

Great staff. Clean environment. My daughter has attended since the the of 12. She has just gone on her last visit as she is now 16. She has gone on her own to various centres. The development of her confidence interpersonal skills and access to different activities has been substancial. Always happy involved and has made lots of new friends across the country. We went for a day as a family. 3 activities and lunch. Fantastic value for money. My son has autism and wanted to visit prior to his school residential to alleviate any anxieties. The staff were aware of this and went above and beyond to make it a fab day for him and for us all. They were all so welcoming and positive. They encouraged and supported so well. I would highly recommend this experience to families.

Great team, great site and great services.

2 kids aged 10 amd 12 completed a 3 night break. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience and can't wait to go back again. Favorite activities included abseiling, raft building and aeroball. The ataff were super friendly and enthusiastic and we felt our kids were in safe hands.

We had a fantastic week residential at Marchants Hill, the children learnt lots about each other and themselves. They were given the opportunity to try some amazing activities with kind and professional instructors. Thank you for an amazing week.

Every need we had was met. The food and accommodation was excellent. The activities were perfect for our pupils with enough challenge for the more able. We were well looked after and everything ran smoothly.

My son really enjoyed his time at PGL and said "this time was even better than last time". He enjoyed a broad range of activities with the abseiling being the top activity and he made so many new friends and "spoke to nearly everyone". As we were leaving it was lovely to hear so many people say goodbye and call his name and there was a real sense of having come together to enjoy something as a group. He enjoyed the group he was in and had many stories to tell and he has a real sense of independence when he goes, at the same time as getting solid reassurances as a parent that they are tightly monitored and well looked after. Alex C. was the leader of his group and was lovely and genuinely eager to ensure they had a fantastic time and my son also mentioned great night support staff (Tom is 'pretty chill') too and overall he wants to come back in the summer!

From beginning to end, our experience with PGL was outstanding. The communication before the trip was excellent with all of our needs catered for. We were extremely confident that we would be well looked after. And we were! The catering team need a huge shout out as we had a specific dietary requirement. They had everything pre-prepared ahead of every sitting - we could not have asked for more! The staff leading the activities were so enthusiastic and energetic - the kids absolutely loved them, as did the staff. The accommodation at Ford Castle was superb - sleeping in an actual castle was a huge treat for the kids (once they'd lugged their cases up the stairs of course!) The adult rooms were so comfortable and clean and the staff lounge area was well stocked! We all had the best time and would highly recommend a visit. The setting was magical with the most beautiful views of Northumberland.

Great family adventure, never a dull moment. Perfect for our 9 year old. Our 6 year old also loved it but I think in another year she will be able to achieve even more (she was one of the youngest there). Be prepared to be busy!

Great value for money. Child had a blast. Entertained with exciting activities. Sharing a room with a group of friends. Child was happy with facilities, food, activities. I was happy with communication when child became unwell to ensure child was appropriately supported. Good security and checking of information both at drop off and collection. Thank you. Child is looking forward to book the next trio with friends.
