My boy Angus made the journey from Glasgow to Osaka Japan through pets on the move.
I don’t know where to start on how good they were, what I would say is other UK companies could only fly him to Tokyo from LDN which would have been a massive inconvenience for us.
Pets on the move replied to every email query from me really quick as it was a stressful process with the Japanese side.
The company gave me regular updates along with photos when possible which gave me peace at mind.

I highly recommend using them as they knew what they were doing and were totally clear with everything.

Angus is now enjoying life in Japan!

Massive shoutout to Jess who held our hand through it all, and the whole team who were fantastic. From the first day we called to enquire sending our dog from the UK to NZ (not even totally sure it was possible), we felt reassured and confident. We had a plan of action, which then fell through due to airspace closures and fuel strikes! Postponed for a month, but despite our upset and anxiety, the team kept working hard and we were reassured almost everyday with hope and messages of comfort. They managed to find alternative routes, gave us multiple options (all of them with the welfare of our pup in mind) and finally got him on a flight, despite all the chaos in the world! Our boy arrived safe, content and relaxed - once he was able to fly, all the components of the trip worked like clockwork. We are over the moon and I would honestly use Pets on the Move every time. Mirin helped us plan and move our little miniature dachshund, Nico to Perth Australia and made the process so straight forward and easy. She helped any time I was stressed or anxious and answered any questions promptly and we could not have done it without her. Karen also was a huge and great help with us and put my mind at ease throughout the process reassuring both my partner and I that our baby would be fine.

Both of them were such lovely people and so friendly and welcoming. They looked after our boy before his big journey and sent regular updates and gave him the best care and cuddles.

We recently used Pets on the Move to relocate our two furry family members, Hattie and Alfie, from Edinburgh, Scotland to Fort Collins, Colorado, and I honestly couldn’t recommend them more highly.
We were looking for an accredited, well-respected organisation, and from my very first call with Charlotte, to Adam carefully talking me through the process, and Carrie as our dedicated support person, we knew we were in excellent hands.
From the outset they were patient, responsive and incredibly generous with their time, answering every question and guiding us through what initially felt like a very daunting process. Their professionalism was evident at every stage, and what stood out most was that Hattie and Alfie’s welfare, comfort and safety were always their top priority.
We had detailed conversations about kennel bedding and appropriate cat food for the travels. They coordinated directly with our local vet to ensure all paperwork and health requirements were completed correctly, which removed a huge amount of stress for us. On the day of collection they were so reassuring, and we received regular updates along the way, which meant we knew how things were going. It genuinely felt as though everyone involved cared deeply about our fur babies and was looking out for them.
It was a very long journey — over 40 hours door to door — so they needed a little time to decompress at the other end, and we’re not quite forgiven yet! But they are now up, exploring and settling into their new Colorado life.

She made the process really easy and straightforward so it was pretty much a case of dropping him off in Glasgow and picking him up in Melbourne. Now all settled in his new home in Adelaide. I honestly can’t put into words how amazing the team at Pets on the Move are. We flew our very old English Bulldog from the UK to Perth, Australia, which is stressful enough with any dog—let alone a brachycephalic breed. Jess was absolutely incredible and made me feel completely at ease leaving Billy in her care. The updates while he was in transit were fantastic, and she truly understood how scared and nervous I was. Her constant reassurance made the entire process flow seamlessly from start to finish.

If we ever return to the UK there would be no 2nd questioning who we would go to for help!

The POTM people have wonderful empathy with us fur parents and our precious cargo. They give clear advice on collection the flight and meeting/arrival. They keep you fully up to date and even reassuring pictures of your fur-baby en-route. Our Scottish Rough Collie, Loki flew from Manila with them in September 2025 for a specialised operation in the UK, returning last week, he was beautifully cared for and all his special needs by POTM in Manila, Newcastle and London

10/10 for Pets on the Move! We have just moved our little boy Tom the cat from Scotland to aus and pets on the move made it seamless! They put us as the owners at ease and Tom was very relaxed with them. Clear communication and guidelines of what to do and when made the whole process feel very manageable!

Pets on the Move helped me relocate my cat from Newcastle to Australia - a long and complicated process. Jess and the team were really great. They made sure all the timings and paperwork were correct at each step in the process, and I was able to use their vet for the parasite treatments when my vet was being difficult. They completed all the final vet work and made sure my cat got on her way. I was anxious that everything would go to plan but thanks to Pets on the Move she made it and is now out of quarantine and safe and sound in Australia. Special thanks to Jess! We recently relocated our cat from Newcastle to UAE and used Pets on the Move to take care of the process. As first-time pet relocators, we were extremely anxious, but the team were fantastic — clear, communicative, and genuinely reassuring throughout.

They handled everything on the UK side, including collection from our home the day before, final vet checks, paperwork, and customs clearance. Their UAE counterpart took over seamlessly at the other end, making the whole process effortless.

They set up a WhatsApp group to keep us updated, sending photos and regular messages that really put our minds at ease. It was clear they genuinely cared about our cat’s welfare.

The girls at pets on the move are amazing. We went from Scotland to Australia and Jess made the move so easy! It was a huge help with everything else we had going on! So grateful for how well they took care of our dog (who was a little reactive prior to travel). Our dog is now getting more comfortable around new people and other dogs. The communication from start to finish was exceptional! They were extremely passionate, helpful, kind and understanding.
We were given our ‘own’ person (Jess) to deal with, which made the process even easier.
When we took our girl down to them for the first time to get checked and wormed atc. ALL the staff were so welcoming and especially to our dog Helga, and she loved them all. She loved getting pats and told she was lovely and a good girl etc.
they communicated with PEQ on our behalf and cc’d us into all emails. Our girl flew from Scotland (UK) to Australia.
They asked for photos of when we were reunited and really cared and wanted to be part of the journey with us.
They were truly amazing and well worth every penny.

Pets on the Move, so grateful you helped us relocate our beloved farm dogs to the other side of the world for a new life and new memories, it was really stressful, but the team between the vets at Mauchline and the Team at Glasgow really helped us with our moving worries, length and duration of medical run ups and vet visits etc -
our dogs are like family members to us and it was a huge - tough - mentally prepared decision to board the flight with them but they made it with a 9hr layover in Dubai and onward travel in to Auckland, we were super grateful for the updates, travel itinerary , and ability to see them listed as cargo throughout our Emirates flight, superb service from everyone involved getting them to New Zealand 🇳🇿 for us from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
