He tenido y sigo teniendo una experiencia muy gratificante con Perlego.
Si eres estudiante o simplemente buscas libros especificos de temas como: historia, ciencias fisicas, sociologia etc. Perlego es una muy buena opción.
A expensas de varias cuestiones de calidad de vida ( traducciónes de libros inexsistentes a otros idiomas, y el que a veces la busqueda inteligente no es muy eficaz) es un buena inversion (a mi, en particular, siendo estudiante me resulta un poquito caro, pero es completamente entendible dado la magnitud de titulos a tu disposición).
Si implementasen alguna manera interna de traducir los libros sería, sin lugar a dudas, la mejor aplicación de esta índole.

Customer service is a solid zero. My account was locked and no one contacted me for the help that I asked. I asked to speak to someone and all I got was an email that my subscription was cancelled. I was charged $60 every 4 months, and initially under the impression that the fee was $60/ year. I had to block this company because they appear to be out of control with charging my credit card.

La mia esperienza con Perlego è stata estremamente negativa.
Ho attivato inizialmente l’accesso solo per verificare la disponibilità di un libro, ma successivamente ho perso l’accesso all’email associata all’account. Da quel momento non ho più avuto alcuna possibilità di accedere al servizio o gestire l’abbonamento.
Il servizio non è mai stato utilizzato.
Mi sono accorta degli addebiti solo successivamente tramite PayPal e ho immediatamente cercato di risolvere la situazione. Ho contattato sia PayPal che Perlego, ma mi sono trovata in un continuo rimpallo di responsabilità:

Nel frattempo, nessuna soluzione concreta.
L’aspetto più grave è che, nelle comunicazioni ricevute, Perlego ha dichiarato di aver gestito casi simili procedendo con rimborsi, ma nel mio caso ha rifiutato qualsiasi intervento, motivando la decisione unicamente con il fatto che era stata aperta una contestazione PayPal.
In altre parole, l’utilizzo di uno strumento ufficiale di tutela del consumatore è stato trattato come motivo per negare il rimborso.
Ritengo questo comportamento incoerente e poco trasparente.
In situazioni di buona fede, in cui il servizio non è stato utilizzato e il cliente non aveva la possibilità di gestire l’abbonamento, ci si aspetterebbe un minimo di flessibilità e attenzione. Invece ho trovato un approccio rigido e totalmente privo di tutela per il consumatore.
Esperienza molto deludente. Non consiglio il servizio.

Riguardo alla segnalazione che Perlego l'avrebbe rimandata a PayPal: nel momento in cui viene aperta una contestazione formale tramite PayPal, la questione entra in un processo di indagine strutturato gestito dalla piattaforma, nell'ambito del quale siamo tenuti a interagire attraverso quel canale. Non ci siamo sottratti al confronto — abbiamo partecipato pienamente a entrambe le contestazioni, che si sono concluse a nostro favore in entrambe le occasioni. Prendiamo atto che PayPal ha successivamente confermato che qualsiasi ulteriore intervento spetta a noi in qualità di venditore, e comprendiamo che questo abbia contribuito alla sua frustrazione.
Riguardo all'affermazione che Perlego abbia proceduto a rimborsi in casi analoghi rifiutando invece di farlo nel suo: desideriamo essere trasparenti sul fatto che la nostra decisione non si è basata esclusivamente sull'esito della contestazione PayPal. È stata il risultato di una valutazione complessiva di tutte le circostanze, condotta nell'ambito di uno scambio articolato in più fasi, e la nostra posizione è stata comunicata in modo chiaro e coerente nel corso di tutta la vicenda.
Desideriamo inoltre precisare che il nostro team di assistenza è disponibile per tutti i clienti, inclusi coloro che hanno perso l'accesso all'email registrata — e ci dispiace se questo non le è stato comunicato chiaramente fin dall'inizio.
Prendiamo atto della sua intenzione di rivolgersi a un organismo europeo per la tutela dei consumatori e parteciperemo a tale processo in modo completo e trasparente.

Can't give a zero
Can't give a zero. I signed up to get access to a book for uni. Then the following month I cancelled. Logging into my account I can see no active subscription as it is asking me to subscribe, there is also no active cancellation option. Yet somehow without a subscription you are still stealing money from my bank account. I suggest you stop as this is not acceptable. I WILL SAY THIS ONCE, A CANCELLED SUBSCRIPTION IS A CANCELLED SUBSCRIPTION. When you continue to take money after a person has categorically told you to cancel this is theft.

We’ve since cancelled the active subscription for you.
