So I booked 7 parcels through them to be mailed from Ireland to UK. I paid for insurance as well as I had valuables in them. It covered a 1000€.
They sent it through UPS and lost three packages. The cost of lost goods was around 800 euros. It's been 4 months but they haven't returned a single penny although I have filled out all the required claim forms. When I contact UPS they tell me that they can't give me any information because the sender is parcel direct. Parcel directs customer service is just the worst in the world. They're careless, nonchalant, indifferent and unresponsive.
Please NEVER ever use this service. Go direct with some mail service you'll still have a say in the matter at least.

Parcel was supposed to be delivered in 2 days, but took a week

I am disappointed with this service. I had important documents for delivery. At one stage they were lost, eventually found. My emails were responded to, however, I initiated all of them. It took two weeks in total for what was a 3/5 day delivery! I have not received an apology either from ParcelDirect!

Really great service. Finding a delivery option always felt too difficult when sending items to the US, so I always used An Post. But parceldirect made it so simple that I actually found much faster and safer delivery methods. Have used parceldirect multiple times now and don't think I'd go elsewhere.

Could not follow through on the service I purchased and now waiting on a refund 4 weeks when initially stated it would take 2 weeks and when I contacted them again about it they said they would call me back within the hour but never did. Still awaiting refund

I have been dealing with Parcel Direct for 4 years now & have always found them quick, efficient & reliable. Emails & phone calls are always answered promptly & most importantly my packages get picked up & delivered on time, everytime. I can't recommend their service highly enough. 10/10

Great job, everything done in a professional way

The parcel was meant to take 3 days but it took 6 weeks. The tracking was wrong most of the time and parceldirect didn’t reply to any of my requests for information. Shockingly bad service. *edit The item was sent from Ireland to the Netherlands so parcel direct’s claim that it went to the USA is false.

Shocking company to deal with I'm been ringing and eMailing for the last 8 months and still no update on a machine that this joke of a company lost on me Micheal is meant to call me back everyday since April and I have never received 1 call from him stay clear of this company very very bad people to deal with

Completely broke up the package I sent. I contacted customer service and sent all the images and invoices they requested weeks ago. Have had no response to multiple follow up emails. Absolute cowboys. Avoid at all costs! Would give zero stars if I could

Parcel direct were not aware that I did not receive my shipping label and in trying to source it I was ringing UPS. I should’ve got onto parcel direct to get my shipping label and as soon as I rang them they dealt with it in a very polite and professional manner. My package got picked up an hour later and now a satisfied customer. Thanks

Never again! My parcel was sitting in Memphis for a week, then I was given 2 days to register in some website to provide what food items I gave (didn’t had any food inside). I couldn’t figure out what should I do, I asked for help. No help provided. Now it’s being sent back. No idea of when to expect it! All was told is: Can you call the FDA helpline and they will direct you on what you need to do. No number provided.
Spent money for all the stress. Granddaughter was waiting for toys ;(

Despite some negative reviews, I decided to use PD after An Post refused to accept a phone package (as it contained a battery) for return to the UK, and was glad I did.

The Website was easy and fast to use, lots of services to choose from, with options for home collection or local drop off point for courier collection.

I had an issue with the local drop off point (they didn't recognise the parcel/number), which was sorted extremely quickly by a very helpful Agent.....many thanks Michael :)

I would certainly use them again.

Great service right through lockdowns allowing me to stay physically connected with my grandchildren in Australia. Being able to watch them open a box of goodies that I’ve assembled saved my sanity through this bloody pandemic. Thank you

Didn't even know this service existed , fantastic to see all the different options, I was sending out parcels to Russia and USA and did not know where to start and a collegue recommended Parcel direct.
