Rich really thought of every detail for our trip to French Polynesia. He was easy to communicate with- despite being in very different time zones, and he tailored our itinerary for things we knew we wanted to experience and filled in gaps with amazing excursions we wouldn’t have found on our own. We had an amazing vacation exploring Tahiti, Mo’orea, and Bora Bora!

We have worked with Maria and OutofOffice for two completed trips (Iceland and Argentina) and already have another one on the books for January (Philippines). Maria's planning and options development is phenomenal as she and her team work to cater to our preferences and needs. If there was a hiccup to the plans , Maria and her team are readily available and quick with solutions. Thinking about the major pieces of travel: flight arrangements are on point looking for easiest and timely options; transfers and transport have been great and on time; hotel options have also been amazing. Planning for activities and excursions, Maria has been quite responsive to our particular preferences setting us up well as we get to know the country and locale we are visiting. Based on such positive experiences while traveling and such positive experience planning this out with her, my husband and I are already planning our fourth and fifth trip using OutOfOffice. It’s been a month since our family returned from a dream trip to Italy. Over a year ago my husband and I decided we wanted to take our entire family to Italy for our 50th wedding anniversary. We had such a wonderful experience working with Millicent and the team at Out of Office to plan our last trip to Scotland and Ireland, we knew immediately that Millicent would be our “go-to” agent again. She is a top notch professional and understood all of our needs, wants and interests. We had 8 adults (my husband and I are in our 70s), 3 adult children with their spouses and 4 grandkids, ages 13, 2- 10 year olds and a 5 year old. You can imagine the challenges Millicent had to accommodate our requests. I told her we wanted to experience the Tuscany region and Florence (my husbands grandparents were from northern Italy), Ancient Rome, and end up in the southern coast. I told her at my age I wanted everything as easy and seamless as possible, with nothing in the itinerary that said “find your way to ____.” I wanted the nicest hotels and she even found a dreamy villa that we stayed at for 3 nights! Millicent and her team worked their magic. They arranged all our transportation, (we did our own airfare), train tickets, tour tickets and guides, wonderful Mercedes SuvS with reliable and wonderful drivers. We managed to see all the highlights- statue of David, Duomo,underground tour of Colisuem and Roman Forum, breakfast tour of Vatican and St Peters Basilica, golf cart tour of Rome, sunset cruise along Amalfi Coast and tours of Pompei. Our hotel overlooked the sea with a view of Mt Vesuvius. Our hotel had its own beach with swimming in a grotto and a beautiful pool. Both a hit with the family. Millicent was easily accessible and able to add special amenities like a private chef at the villa and a cooking class for all of us. This trip has created fabulous memories for all of us that will last a lifetime. We are forever grateful to Millicent and her attention to detail. We did not have ONE glitch and would not have changed a thing. Our physician son found Out of Office and Millicent for some of his previous travels with his husband. We feel so lucky to have discovered this marvelous agency!

This was my second trip organised by OutOfOffice.com to the Reethi Faru resort (Maldives) and, once again, it was absolutely spectacular. The resort is stunning, the staff very welcoming, and our water villa truly beautiful. Although we had to change dates due to the Middle East tensions at Easter to late July, eveything went very smoothly from arrival to departure. I would especially like to thank and recommend our travel expert, Rich Ryan, who curated the perfect holiday and went above, and beyond, to help and advise during both the booking process and our stay. I am already looking forward to the next time!

This company and in particular Rich Ryan rocks! I told Rich what I wanted- a high end trip to Southern France to Marseilles and Nice. Told him the “necessities “- 5 star hotels, great food, swimming pools, jazz clubs. I am too busy at work to arrange all the fine details that make for a great and much needed vacation. Rich did it all for me! He listened and took real time to get what I wanted from the vacation and without any effort or trouble on my end. About one month before my trip, I received my itinerary. Didn’t have to lift a finger. Every detail from the moment I left my apartment to the landing back at JFK was precisely addressed to my liking. Really appreciated working with Wolfe the last few months to plan our Oxford-Scotland trip for my kids and us. He listened to my Harry Potter, outlander, Braveheart wishes between castles, battlefields, lochs, glens, and trains, and helped me craft a great trip, activities, and book key tickets in advance. From the steam train hard to get into, Alnwick castle and broomstick lessons, to castle hotels and Edinburgh walking tour, it went as well as a 2 week trip with two teenagers can go!

Yet another incredible trip! This was our second time working w/ Maria, and we are already planning our next adventure! We had an absolutely fantastic experience! Maria is incredibly helpful; she always answers all of our questions and makes the planning process so easy.

This was the first time my husband and I used a travel agency, and we could not be more pleased with the process and results. The entire OutOfOffice team - including Hannah, Alice, Milicent, and Jaike - were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They listened to our interests and priorities and tailored the itinerary to our preferences. We hit multiple locations in Greece including two nights in Athens, three nights in Mykonos, and four nights in Santorini. We thought this was a bucket list, once-in-a lifetime trip - - but we already know that we will return to experience several other Greek islands. And we will most certainly be using OutOfOffice again. Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish and although we had a curated itinerary, we never felt rushed or unsure of where to be or who to contact. In Athens, the highlight was our private tour of the Acropolis with Ilias. The Mykonos nightlife was everything we expected and more. And finally, we closed out the trip with some scenic relaxation in Santorini. This was an incredibly memorable trip, and the team at OutOfOffice made everything seamless. We cannot recommend them (or Greece) enough. We have future plans to visit New Zealand and Australia as well as Africa, the Maldives, and Seychelles. We will definitely be engaging with OutOfOffice again for those and future vacations.

This was my first overseas trip and I did it solo. Using Out-of-Office was the best decision I made to help me prepare for my trip. First, I had no idea where to go, but I knew what I wanted to do and the vibe I was looking for. And second, it was a last-minute trip. This is why it was essential to have an expert on my side.

I was lucky enough to have Alice Evans help me with the arrangements and as an ear to listen to my goofy vacation stories upon my return. My solo trip to Puerto Vallarta, MX was the best decision I have made in a very long time and I can't wait to do it again. From start to finish, Sam put together an incredible itinerary (for a winter trip to the southern hemisphere, no less!?) and facilitated the trip of a lifetime. From the initial placement in Palermo (BA) and Ciudad Vieja (Montevideo), both gorgeous and walker-friendly “headquarters” from which to branch out to her deft handling of my mid-trip twist, I’d recommend Sam and OOF to anyone looking for a fantastic and comprehensive travel experience. They truly do think of everything.

We began researching Italy and the many sites we wanted to include, for our first visit to this country. Our list was quickly growing between the Italian regions & islands which made us pause and decide that maybe we should seek help from an expert. Being a married gay couple of 15 years, we also wanted to know that we would be safe visiting certain cities & hotels, without concern. We discovered Out of Office had years of positive customer reviews so we sent an email with a brief summary of our thoughts on where we would like our itinerary to take us. By the next day, we received a wonderful email from Millicent Kenworthy-Green, who set up an Introductory video call where we could virtually meet and discuss our timeline and get a better understanding of how we envisioned our trip. At the end of the call, we knew we were in perfect hands as Millicent had been a resident of Italy for many years and she laid out an incredible trip overview for us. Allowing just a couple of days, we were then presented with a day-by-day itinerary, including all flights, hotels, trains, private pick up's and excursions! We took a couple days to digest all of the information provided, and Millicent again arranged a 2nd video call so we could make any revisions. We opted to upgrade flights, make just a few edits to the schedule, and we were set! In the meantime, Millicent found us better non-stop flights to & from countries at a substantial savings, which allowed us to upgrade to a premium hotel in Rome! To secure those flight/hotel accommodations, we went ahead and made a 50% deposit, to lock-in pricing. The next day, we received,via email, our updated, final itinerary with every detail of our journey and what/where we would be, spelled out for each day. Because we planned well in advance, we only have to wait for 10 months to enjoy this incredible lifetime vacation that Millicent has created for us!! She made what was becoming an overwhelming process for us, an experience that was effortless due to her quick correspondence and years of experience as a resident of Italy! By working with Millicent, we are going to be able to see places that an LGBTQ+ cruise would not capture. Sam did a fabulous job of organising our three week tour of Canada and we’re devastated to be back home. The trip, taking in all of the highlights including two days on the Rocky Mountaineer was once in a lifetime. Couldn’t recommend it or Sam and all of the Ops team heartily enough. They really get who we are and what we want for our special time away.
Looking forward to our follow up Scandi-tour being just as good in a few weeks.

This was our first trip to Europe in 2 decades. We so wanted it to be special. Pre-planning was key to the success. With Millicent's help, we created a week of meaningful, fun and very interesting events. Millicent listened to our input and provided instructions, Tickets, contact names and contact numbers so that we knew everyday, where we were headed. Seeing Amsterdam for the first time, the lovely boutique hotel, the great hotel staff, three amazing guided tours...all filled our expectations. Advice led us to explore, train travel to nearby towns and find out-of-the-way places to visit.
Finally, the Canal Tour and Stroopwafls were greatly appreciated.
WE look forward to our next trip planned with Out of Office in the coming years.

Maria was an excellent facilitator throughout the entire process. She didn't miss a beat when we swapped our request to an entirely different destination on the other side of the globe. From Tanzania to Tahiti, Maria maximized our itinerary for our budget, duration, and interests. Her planning caused us to go on some excursions we might not have picked on our own but ended up loving, so it was great to have someone so knowledgeable on what to not miss!

Once the trip date finally arrived, Maria was very responsive as we navigated some flight delays and sent clarifying questions to the local hotels & tour guides. For example, I'd cc Maria on emails when I asked a question to a guide, and if she didn't see them reply to me in a timely manner she'd proactively check in with them, showing she was invested in us getting answers. The only thing that could have made this trip more smooth is if the subcontracted guides (like Moorea Explorer) had been as proactive and clear as Maria had been, which speaks to how great she was comparatively!

We'll definitely use OutOfOffice again if we circle back on that Tanzania plan.

We have gone on many trips around the world over the years and always planned everything ourselves. I am capable of doing it but it is a lot of work and not a lot of fun. So we decided to use Out of Office for our trip to French Polynesia and it was such a great experience. We worked with Maria as our travel advisor who was so pleasant to work with and really helped us every step of the way. She walked us through the process and planning via several virtual meetings, she made great suggestions on things we should do, and followed through with everything she promised. Our trip logistics were all taken care of and we wound up doing activities that we never would have thought of or wanted to plan ourselves because Maria suggested them and took care of them for us. We had a great time on our trip... I would not hesitate to use Out of Office again and look forward to working with Maria again in the future. Highly recommend!

I have been working with Millicent for the past couple of months now to plan my dream GOT trip. She has made every step of this process so easy and smooth. Maria and Out-of-Office helped us with our family trip to Japan. In short, the experience was fantastic and we are now planning our next trip with Maria. My husband and I and our two teenage boys had lots of constraints (timing, budget, varied interests in sights and food, different preferences in pacing - some of us like it jam packed and others prefer more slow paced). It all added up but Maria handled it all like a pro. So the planning was seamless. The execution was also superior. Our tour guides were professional, prepared, and made us feel right at home. The van drivers were courteous, timely and always had a nicely appointed vehicle. The highlights were teamLab Planets, the samarai demonstration and the tour of the fish market (super props to our guide). In short, if you are a LGBTQ+ family - or any family - I would recommend Maria and the OOO team.
