We are currently in the middle of relocating from Sydney to Amsterdam and hired OSS to handle the move of our entire household goods shipment. After comparing several companies, OSS by far provided the best overall offer for us.

What also stood out was that OSS was the only company that came out to our home in person to do the quotation. All the other companies handled the process virtually, so the personal visit gave us a lot more confidence and reassurance.

Metua handled the quotation process and was always available to answer our many questions throughout the planning stage, which made the whole process feel a lot less stressful.

Yesterday, the lovely crew of Courtney, Ali and Jay came to pack down our home, and they were absolutely fantastic. They were incredibly efficient, professional, careful with our belongings, and just genuinely nice people to have around during what can otherwise be quite a stressful process.

Based on our experience so far, we can definitely recommend OSS and their team.

Courtney and Albert just phenomenal. No fuss , got on with it, fast , efficient, really professional. I know my furniture, clothes, kitchenware etc really well packed. And very friendly team. Thank you both of you and also to Metua and Amy.

On the pickup day the staff refused to do the job as it was a Friday and left... claiming the area was dirty.and full of dog shit...they came back on the Monday after and we're still there at 9 o clock at night packing up....I still had to clean the house and hand over the property on Tuesday morning....causing another problem because cleaning staff were not available and were supposed to come on the Saturday and Sunday after the Friday pickup but the staff took their truck and left me high and dry
A lot of my things that were supposedly packed out of my home ere pilfered. Ornaments, fishing gear, canned Foodstuffs , electronic goods,
The quotation was for a 20 foot container. The ineffient packing methods forced me to upgrade to a 40 foot container. Many of my workshop stuff was never packed up and arrived as it came out of my workshop. Tools missing and other miscellaneous items. They told me they would repack everything at the depot which never happened and I suspect the goods were not locked in a secure location awaiting shipping.allowing anybody to help themselves to my belongings
The shipping was to Cebu in the Philippines. They gave me an arrival date of the container arriving in Taiwan...2 weeks different....
The Philippines side was perfect with a professional service provided but I cannot say the same for the Australian side absolutely rubbish with the tail shaking the dog...I will never suggest OSS to anybody because they are a pack of thieves...when they pack up they have one carton for the customer numbered and a seperate in numbeted box for the pilfered goods...
Lots of my stuff disappeared and I still find myself looking for items that were supposedly shipped but instead were pilfered...
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR SHIPPING...they will rob you blind of your belongings...also after the shipment arrived their face book page was locked and no comments allowed and when I complained they told me to claim from my insurance

This was a 5 ⭐️ experience!! Ali and his team, Jay, Courtney, Albert and LJ did an amazing job! Despite all challenges they uplifted all our stuff and fitted it all into the container…it was close to a miracle for us that we didn’t need to leave anything behind. We have just had a fantastic experience with OSS Worldwide Movers on the Gold Coast, thanks to Josh and Justice. They were fast, professional, and incredibly polite throughout the entire move. Not only did they handle everything with care and efficiency, but they also brought a great sense of humour that made the day so much less stressful.

Highly recommend this team if you’re looking for a smooth and genuinely pleasant moving experience!

I wish I had seen the 1 star ratings before we signed with OSS. Our goods are in transit from Sydney to Manchester and the experience so far has been problematic at every step. I emailed the national operations manager twice ( I googled his name) to ask our case to be reviewed and elevated to a more senior person but got no response except for a message that read ' Was this email meant for me?' I hope to receive the goods some 8 weeks later than expected. We have had to replace a lot of our stuff due to this long extension of time.We also can't take a holiday due to the wait as we have no idea when it will get here. It has been costly and stressful to date. We have learnt a lot about what not to do from this company so far. Let's see if our stuff arrives and I can give a better star rating.

Our experience was moving from New Hampshire USA to Brisbane. The OSS side of the move was fantastic. Crew was knowledgeable, polite, dedicated, and efficient. Some of our items were delicate and heavy and all handled with care. Our move consisted of two full oceangoing containers delivered over two days and service was consistent throughout. Not sure we have everybody but Mike, Mark and his team of 3, as well as Jason and Ben were outstanding and we would highly recommend OSS World Wide Movers.

A huge shoutout to the team on the day — Jay, Ali, Courtney, Carlos, and LJ — who were nothing short of phenomenal. They were incredibly friendly, professional, and worked with impressive speed, all while being meticulous and ensuring everything was packed securely for a long international journey.

What really stood out was how they managed to keep the energy high and positive throughout the day — even adding some great tunes to lighten the mood during what is usually a pretty stressful process. It made a real difference.

From the initial quote stage to regular updates from Jacqueline, my move manager, I was able to ship all my heirlooms from Canada to Australia, including my Cedar chest and upright piano - a dream come true! Tom and Dan were excellent unloading in Australia and my parents were impressed with the efficient, professionally packed boxes on the packing side in Canada. Highly recommend!

We used OSS World Wide Movers for an international relocation (Australia to Gibraltar). The experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.

We were initially sold a maximum estimated storage/transit timeframe, but our shipment sat for months with repeated reassurances that dispatch was “imminent.” Updates were vague and inconsistent, and we frequently had to chase OSS for basic information. What they communicated and promised us was never delivered

When our belongings did finally arrive after six months, multiple furniture items were damaged — those that were severely damaged were unfixable. Several pieces were chipped, smashed, or structurally compromised, and sentimental, irreplaceable items were broken. We were explicitly instructed not to pack anything ourselves because OSS would handle "professional" packing.

After all this and despite extensive photographic evidence, OSS refused to assess responsibility, stating that because advanced transit insurance was declined, the matter would not be reviewed “regardless of the nature or cause of the damage.” Damage was repeatedly described as “normal transit movement,” even where the extent of destruction was clearly inconsistent and not caused with minor vibration or wear.

The most concerning aspect was the position taken by OSS that service quality and packing standards are irrelevant if insurance is not purchased. Insurance may determine financial recovery, but it does not erase a mover’s responsibility to pack and handle goods professionally. The refusal to separate insurance coverage from basic duty of care was embarrassing on their account, and frustrating and disappointing on ours.

OSS referenced industry standards, but in our case there was no meaningful accountability when the outcome fell well short of professional expectations and denied all accountability.

Bottom line is that we lost thousands of dollars worth of precious items that we worked hard to obtain all because OSS does not respect the property of their customers nor how long it takes to get there. They possess an inflexible, dismissive approach to responsibility once problems arise, and while we cannot pursue legal action any further, we would not recommend OSS World Wide to anyone.

Matt and Jason from OSS were absolutely fantastic. They unpacked my boxes efficiently and went above and beyond by offering thoughtful advice on where I should keep certain items so they’re easy to reach and manageable for me to move later.
They were courteous, proactive, and genuinely cared about making sure I was comfortable and set up well in my space. Their attention to detail and willingness to help made a stressful move much easier. I truly appreciate their hard work and professionalism and would gladly recommend them.
