Good on line service
Good on line service. Ordered a pair of trousers which turned out to be too large on the waist. Easy and quick process to exchange for a smaller waisted pair without any additional cost. Very helpful customer services person.
Tracking Order
Received mail from Orvis telling me my order on the way with the tracking number and direct link. Direct link 'freezes' and when checking myself with the courier parcel could not be found. Hope this is not the beginning of an 'issue'. If so star rating could be reduced. Pity because Orvis are good quality.

Orvis what’s happening, are you bothered anymore??…
Orvis what happened to your mission statement??? Who needs to be fired?? Customer service is poor with little understanding of what’s being asked. Orders can take well over a month just for a pair of shorts to be delivered. At almost £100 I can get shorts of quality anyplace within a couple of days! What on earth is happening??
Good quality stuff if you can get it
Good quality stuff if you can get it. They tell you stuff is in stock online so you order it to get sent partial parts of you’re order you’ve already paid for and you’ve got to wait weeks/months to get something you’ve already paid for. Absolutely terrible service on all 4 orders I’ve made from Orvis.co.uk.
So frustrating
So frustrating! Spend ages ordering items that match each other . Pay for delivery and receive only half the order with estimated delivery weeks away! What good are my new pants to go with my new shirt which arrives 8 weeks later? Inundated with flyers and catalogues only to find an 10 week wait for some of the items ordered. Tip do not order items that match.

I like my Flannel shirt - sizing means it is worn as a winter overshirt. Their other shirt choices look good but I'd like to see more reviews of quality, sizing please. And are they value for money? (I am used to Rohan good quality and fit).

Shame once again that helpful staff are compromised by poor back office ability.
Now another phone call required to sort such a simple refund error.
Think twice before dealing with Orvis.
Well they messed up the order in so many ways. Took my order, then said they had no stock.
Then overcharged me.
Eventually got the jacket ordered.
Then I discover that the zip is the wrong way around. It's billed as a men's jacket. But the zip being the handedness normally delivered on women's coats.
Then, things fall out of the pockets. It's a rubbish design.
At £145 I think it is reasonable to expect better. Not going to take on their customer service to return the jacket.
Improbable that they will get any more of my money
Expensive if you need to return.
Ordered a jacket, received quickly however it was too large and had to return it, not only did I pay delivery charges but I had to pay to return it as well, meaning I effectively paid £9 to try on a jacket while Orvis incurred no expense at all, wouldn't use again.
Bolster Bed …
We have just taken delivery of a memory foam bolster bed for our Rottie, Bear. Fairly expensive but you certainly get what you pay for. It is great - and our dogs both love it. At the moment they both fit in it together but when our pup is too big, we shall be back for another... Great customer service and delivery time too. Highly recommend Orvis products.
Terrible experience with late deliveries
I have been a long time regular customer of Orvis for both fishing equipment and especially, clothing, which I liked.
I excess of the previous two years I have had a terrible experience with very late delivery of clothing (months late in most cases). To start with I thought it might be a one off, so I tried again and again. However, the lateness of delivery has been consistently bad, and this started long before the Covis 19 problem. Therefore I could not recommend this company to anyone.
delivery time scales beyond belief
I really like the products but nor enough to justify the problems. Blitzed with catalogues and offers. Ordered using the promo code. 8 days later and no product.. online site says another 13 days before shipping might happen, I rang to just check if this was even possible.. Ah says customer service we use exaggerated dates.. excuse me. Incase we have issues. OK where is my product. It is in the UK but not booked into the warehouse yet.. then it will ship. When will this be? I cannot say.. so it could be four weeks after ordering a new season product. Yes it could. but maybe not. OK please cancel my order wherever it may be.
If you can wait a month or more at £4.99 delivery charge then Orvis is for you.

Dog beds are nice but expensive for what they are. Delivery very slow and unless they’re selling something you want that they make definitely price check elsewhere. Almost all the branded items they sell are cheaper on other sites.

Have bought a barbour dunmoor fleece jacket.It arrived in perfect conditions and sooner than expected.Staff very friendly and polite.Would recomend this company.

Good but overpriced with questionable eco credentials
I really wanted to love Orvis’s products and service, but instead I’m underwhelmed.
The dog bed I bought is good, I like that the cover can be removed to wash and it is holding its shape, although there’s no way they could ever justify the full price. But then there’s nearly always a sale on, so who would ever pay full price?
What I really dislike is being sent mailings and catalogues through the post every few weeks. I talked to them on their live chat, the agent seemed sure there was an opt-out, “No, there definitely isn’t!”
Couple of months later, another catalogue, I call up and go through the same script. I’m assured my details have been removed from the mailing list.
Orvis pride themselves on their commitment to protecting nature. They give 5% of their pre-tax profits to good causes, it all sounds great and I’m sure they’ve done a lot of good. But it comes across as a little bit “greenwashing” if they can’t simply add a checkbox to the customer account page to opt-out of mailings. Sending out many thousands of unsolicited catalogues and coupons to customers is not that eco-conscious, is it?

Ordered from orvis UK online for international shipping and waited and waited. After items were listed to ship out in 24 to 48hrs for over a week, I contacted customer service and was told my order couldn't ship due to recalculated shipping costs. It had increased from 35 to 200 pounds! I was asked if I would like to cancel.
Ridiculous that no one contacted me to let me know there was a problem with shipping. Serious problem with the website to allow checkouts if their shipping cost is not correct. No one offered an explanation why shipping costs had increased. No one apologised. Yes, I would like to cancel my order, and never again, orvis!
Some good products but seriously spammy email marketing
Some good products.
However I wanted to write about the email campaign. I received 27 marketing emails in Dec, 22 in Nov.
Offers are relentless and often fake. Eg Promising 30% off all sale items in a large banner. However this wasn’t the case and items with the discount were impossible to locate. when the section was found, it was full of ‘recommended ‘ items that had no discount. I firmly object to companies selling items at inflated prices , only to then constantly attempt to convince you that there is a sale on.
Busting shirts or other Orvis items is a once or maybe twice a year activity. I do not want or need marketing emails every day. I have now unsubscribed.
Poor service but a massive improvement
Poor service, advertising products on line that are not even in stock so losing discount on purchase. Thanks for the other discount you sent me but I am not being caught again , you can stick your so called offers
