I bought an item from them, but they unlawfully subscribed me to two "services" and debited my account WITHOUT my authorization. I've reported these actions as fraud to my bank and cancelled my debit card to ensure they do not proceed with further illegal conduct. Unprofessional conduct and a company that is bogus - just stay away from them.

cant get hold of customer service at all!

How would you feel receiving your parcel like this?? Torn open, broken and not even a spec of bubblewrap for protection. Disgusting.

They deliver defective/damaged products and have no customer service to speak of. It has been over a month and they still have not collected their stock or refunded me. I have 40 emails with every excuse in the book for poor service. They typically just blame their suppliers.

It's companies like this that create huge mistrust in online purchasing. The internet and SA would be better off without them.

Impossible to return a faulty product. Worst customer service I have ever experience.

They won't stop emailing me the daily emails, I don't want any emails. I do the normal unsubscribe and then no emails for a while then it all starts again

This review is about a product purchased that broke after a few months and the response was sorry not our problem, something really to consider when purchasing an item. Customer service needs to be better equipped as there as no consideration for factory fault, or mention of warranty. I definitely will not use this service much or at all going forward in the future.

Purchased a few things before where i had a problem with a items listed that was advertised (#2888870)

3rd of October - Purchased an item that was listed in stock, get email throughout that they haven't forgotten about my order and "It will be dispatched within the next few days"

10th of October - I get an email saying "We’re so sorry to inform you that our supplier has run into an unexpected stock issue and has had to cancel delivery" - okay fine....mistakes happen. (#4780568)

1st December - I see the same item listed in stock so I proceed to make the purchase again, same as before, "they havent forgotten"..blah blah

8th December - Same as before ,I get an email saying "We’re so sorry"... blah blah (#4997142)

Same thing happened with #3583542

I'm all for seconds chances but 2 times in a row for the same item doesn't seem like a coincidence to me, and I'm sure I'm not the only one, Why list stock that you or the suppliers don't have?

I saw the same item AGAIN 2 weeks ago, so as a test I decided purchase the item, its been 2 weeks since then... today I have recieved the same email as the first THREE times.

what's the excuse this time? Miscounted units again (this being the 4th time in row) ?

I've had good experiences with purchasing from OnedayOnly. However, since their shipping costs have increased so dramatically, it is much cheaper to purchase these "discounted" items locally or via Takealot where purchases over R500 are free and ghe pricing of the items are more or less the same

Ordered curtainsnow and once before. Satisfied with the product and quality.

False advertising..... Send a different product from the one advertised, take long to collect the error, then don't pay back the money they took after claiming not to have stock of the initial product purchased....

Purchasing from the website is very easy although delivery takes a bit longer than other sites. The trouble starts when the quality of products received is bad or the products don't fit and you need to return them. I logged a return for two orders about three weeks ago and have been following up constantly. At first the company responded with dates for collection, but now I'm not getting a response at all. The status of both returns have been changed to "refunded" even though the items weren't collected and my money wasn't returned. I will never buy from this website again and wouldn't recommend that anyone does either. And like another reviewer said, their discounts are no more impressive than takealot or any other online store. Be warned.

EDIT: ODO contacted me after my review, promising me collection that day. Guess what? NOTHING. The products weren't collected and I still had to follow up with them to figure out why. Now they're giving me the option to return the products myself...after all this back and forth!!!!! Do not buy from this business
