Hallo,
ich habe seit zwei Jahren den ICO für meinen Whirlpool.
Funktioniert wirklich super, allerdings ist der Kundendienst langsam und nicht effektiv.
Komme in meine APP nicht mehr mit meinem alten Passwort rein….habe dann natürlich auf Passwort vergessen getippt, habe auch einen Link erhalten, konnte neues Passwort generieren. Leider dann beim anmelden kein Erfolg (Passwort stimmt).
Eine Mail mit einem Roten Kreuz bekommen (leider in Englisch).
Mail an Kundendienst…..6 Tage gewartet dann kam eine Mail vom Kundendienst wieder mit einem Link. Wieder das gleiche wie oben. Jetzt warte ich erneut auf eine Antwort vom Kundendienst. Die KI auf der Internetseite ist auch nur in Französisch ( kann ich noch weniger wie Englisch).
Solange man den Kundendienst nicht benötigt ist alles ok!

Muss mich korrigieren. Der Kundendienst hat mir heute gut geholfen.

What an unfit for purpose these devices have turned out to be, lve fought for two replacement ICO through Hydrolife so in reality that’s three devices lve had now, my son is on his second device, Ondillo responses in the past have useless and l will never buy another from this company, issues range from unable to connect to device, device showing sensors are not in contact with water, no Bluetooth connection amongst others. The issues will these devices has become so bad that Hydrolife are no longer stocking or selling them, that should be the Red Flag that tells everyone not waste your money on them.

Ich besitze seit vier Jahren einen SPA Pool. Genau so lange nutze ich den ICO SPA zur Messung der Temperatur, PH und Redox.
Leider habe ich schon das dritte Gerät im Gebrauch. Zwei waren nach wenigen Monaten defekt. Es gab einen kulanten Umtauschservice. Die Vers. 2 habe ich aktuelle im Gebrauch. Dies seit Dezember 2025. Inzwischen spinnt wieder ein mal die PH Sonde, die ebenfalls neu war. Für über 100,-€ pro Sonde hätte ich mir eine längere Haltbarkeit gewünscht. Ich muss diese schon wieder ersetzen.
Der Umgang mit dem Kundendienst ist gut, aber ehrlich gesagt, hätte ich mir zu diesem Preis etwas bessere Qualität gewünscht. Immer wieder bekommt man falsche Messergebnisse. Der Vorgänger war nach 1,5Jahren undicht,.... die Liste ist lang.
Ich werde beim nächsten Defekt auf die Konkurrenz umsteigen. Schade.....

Bought a Smartpod June 2023, had a few problems setting up which was rectified. Great bit of very expensive kit whilst working. July 2024 needed recharging, then totally died. After long painstaking communications with Jacuzzi uk who i bought off and Ondillio, i finally was sent a new pod V2, i thought great, no issues now, but earlier this year on calibrating a sensor had broken off, Ondillio said out of warranty and sort myself, no help. Jacuzzi sent me a replacement partially used sensor free of charge which was good customer service from Jacuzzi UK. Swoped this over and carried on using no issues. Came to recharge again and guess what, caputt battery, the pod only works now if plugged in as the battery won't hold the charge, so useless. Definitely won't buy one again, will use test strips again, and try to find another brand. The pod is a great idea when works, but is very unreliable, the parts inside and battery must be very cheaply made. Expensive waste of money, good luck to all that buy!! Communications are a challenge with Ondillio!

Functionaliteit en gebruikersgemak zijn goed. Door de slechte product kwaliteit en slechte kwaliteit van de metingen is het helaas waardeloos. Onder garantie nieuwe unit gehad i.v.m. batterij problemen. Vervolgens problemen met meetwaarden gekregen en probes ververvangen,maar geen oplossing. Unit blijkt weer defect.

Don't waste your money on one of these. I am on my third unit having had it replaced under warranty. It has failed again, got very hot whilst charging and now completely dead. I followed all instructions, removed Sensors and dried it out.

Purchases item and after nearly a year, the item just stopped working.

I had to request a call for someone to call me and go through the details. I found the call very efficient and I was promised replacement parts.

Now these parts never have been received, they have provided a tracking information but not to my address.

Appareil qui tombe en panne une première fois remplacé par le SAV. Un an après cela recommence.
Cet appareil n’est absolument pas fiable. De plus les mesures sont fausses.

Similar experience to other reviewers. Purchased an ICO unit 2 years ago and it’s great when it works but that isn’t for long. Had several replacement parts and probes sent out whilst under warranty but it keeps breaking. Now after the warranty has expired their suggestion is to buy another one. Going back to strips.

Produit non fonctionnel. Acheté en mai, sonde ph en panne en juillet, nouvelle sonde envoyée, en panne deux semaines plus tard. On m'envoie un produit de remplacement. Ne fonctionne pas. Et toujours pas de remboursement. A éviter.

ICO acheté le 20 juillet 2020 sur Amazon, remplacé une première fois le 23 mai 2022 puis une seconde fois le 10 aout 2022. Aujourd'hui (13 aout 2024) ONDILO refuse le remplacement et me propose une remise de 40% pour en acheter un nouveau.

Réponse de la société commercialisant l'ICO à propos de la durée de garantie :
"Selon nos politiques, la garantie de remplacement est de 6 mois, contrairement à la garantie initiale de 2 ans qui s'applique lors d'un remplacement complet de l'appareil. Dans votre cas, nous avons remplacé une partie de l'appareil et non l'intégralité, ce qui explique la durée de garantie de 6 mois."
Par "une partie de l'appareil", il faut comprendre "ICO SMART CORE" qui correspond à un ICO sans les sondes.

MAJ du 22 aout 2024 : un accord avec l'entreprise a été trouvé. Mon ICO est pris en garantie

MAJ du 11 février 2025 : suite à ma réclamation précédente, j'ai obtenu gratuitement un SMART CORE en septembre mais il y a un nouveau problème. En novembre la sonde pH a commencé à délirer et à afficher des valeurs fantaisiste. Après avoir contacté de nouveau le service client ONDILO, c'est la sonde pH qui est HS. Ayant plus de 2 ans, je dois débourser 89€ pour la remplacer. ONDILO m'offre généreusement 15% de remise.

En résumé : 4 appareils en 4 ans (problème de batterie puis hardware). Sondes qui tiennent tout juste la période de garantie. Recalibration régulière, etc... bref je n'ai plus confiance et je ne recommande pas.

MAJ du 20 mars 2025 : sonde pH : j'ai obtenu une remise et changé la sonde.
l'ICO m'affiche maintenant des valeurs de pH avec une grande amplitude (6.3 - 9.9) dans une même journée.
Raison invoquée par la société commercialisant l'ICO : "L'appareil ICO ne devant pas être utilisé en dessous de 10°, cette utilisation peut entrainer la réception de données incohérentes."

Have had one problem after another. The company keeps replacing the ICO core every time there is an issue unfortunately the new one only lasts 6 or 7 months. The company then replaces the ICO core and probes but few months later it goes back on the blink. To be fair to Ondilo customer service they went out of their way to resolve the problems by replacing new ICO core. My personal experience has not been good. It works well for a few months when it’s new and then develops issues especially the PH probe seems to a major problem. I would not recommend buying this product. The next time mine develops a problem I will throw it in the bin and use the strips.

I don’t understand the reason to return the Core. If the replacement was new which I have no doubt it was, then you should have confidence in your product’s performance. So the old Core and new one have the same issue of wrong PH data. Common sense would say perhaps the Core is not the problem but the PH probe is faulty. I have ordered a new PH probe so wait and see what the outcome is.
To correct your reply to my review. The reason for the first replacement was not because the probes broke but the issue was with PH incorrect readings. After the new ICO Core arrived there was a problem with the probes that broke while trying to remove the probes from old core to insert in the new one. I still don’t understand what exactly you think I did to those broken probes? I followed the instructions that was given to me and I have also offered to send you that core with the broken probes for you to investigate what might have happened.

Leute lasst die Finger weg! Unverschämtheit, die Geröte gehen ohne jeglichen Grund kaputt oder funktionieren einfach nicht mehr. Der Support fordert Euch dann in der Gewährleistung auf iwelche Tests zu machen die bereits in den Fehlerbehebungwn stehen! Danach müsst ihr Videos machen um den AgB gerecht zu werden um dann ein neues Gerät zu bekommen! Ich habe das 4 mal motgemacht, nie wieder! Ich habe bereits ein anderes Produkt und konnte mittlerweile feststellen dass die Messergebnisse von dem ICO nie gestimmt haben! FINGER WEG!!!

Au bout de huit mois, le boîtier ne fonctionnait plus en raison d’un problème de batterie.
Le support m’a alors remplacé le boîtier.
Cependant, le nouveau boîtier relève des valeurs complètement incohérentes. Après huit mois d’échanges avec le support, le problème n’est toujours pas résolu et ils refusent de le remplacer sous garantie.

Si vous envisagez d’acheter ce produit, fuyez.

Wir haben das Gerät bei Kauf unseren Whirlpool mit gekauft laut Aussage ist das Gerät sehr gut.
Leider mussten wir feststellen das bereits ein halbes Jahr später die Probleme los gingen.
Wurde dann auch alles ausgetauscht.
Leider haben wir dann im Februar das nächste Problem auch da wurde alles nach langen hin und her getauscht.
Im April dann wieder ein Problem die Sonden sind beim säubern abgebrochen da wurde dann auch wieder hin und her geschrieben auch dies wurde getauscht.
Leider ging es dann wieder nicht daraufhin wurden wir gebeten das Gerät zu schicken da wurde dann festgestellt das Wasser ins Gerät eingetreten ist das nicht verwunderlich ist nachdem 2 Sonden gebrochen waren.
Leider wurde da diesmal nicht getauscht.
Das Gerät ist zu teuer für das was es leistet.
Der Kundendienst ist Miserabel.
Es ist eine Frechheit bei so einem Preis so eine Leistung zu bringen.
Ich würde diese Gerät auf keinen Fall kaufen es gibt günstigere und bessere.

I have an Ondilo water meter in my Jacuzzi in my garden. Unfortunately, and I had some problems with the pH readings. When I originally reported them, I did get a call back but their solution did not work and I was forced to reach out again. I have to say, I am overwhelmed and amazed by the attention I have received. I was contacted by the principal of the company who personally helped me diagnose and find a solution. He followed it up on more than one occasion and I have to say the service was overwhelming. I am so impressed and grateful for this level of service. It’s actually quite refreshing in this day and age.

Je suis tres déçu par Ondilo pour plusieurs raisons.
. Manque de fiabilité. Valeurs erronées.
. Manque de precision de la sonde PH et ORP.
. Concernant les réponses du support client…. C’est une catastrophe. Aucun suivi, manque de competences, délais de réponses tardif. Je déconseille vivement d’acheter ce produit.
.on vient de me changer le smart core sur mon appareil ( appareil presque complet) et l’on m’annonce une extension de garantie de 6 mois uniquement.. une honte
