I do not like this card. As soon as the promo period is over I plan to cancel. The fact that you can't set customized payments shows that this is just a debt trap.

Love the card just wish it had a larger credit limit

I have received both mail offer and email offer for a new loan. Both advertising that I was chosen because of my good standing with the company on my current loan. Both times I accepted the offer I was denied. Stop sending false offers.

The ease of using the card and navigating the app makes it very appealing . I have owned a Merrick card for decades and understand that Ollo is associated, that makes me happy also . I like to stay with companies that have treated me well .

The card has been great. The approval process was a bit confusing. At first, I thought I was declined but I was actually approved. The available credit and interest free period have been a godsend in this economy.

Absolutely terrible experience with Ollo Credit Cards and Merrick Bank!

We were not looking to apply for any credit cards. After going through bankruptcy, we had deliberately avoided applying for new credit because we wanted to rebuild our financial situation responsibly.

Then Merrick Bank sent us an unsolicited letter stating that we were PRE-APPROVED for the Ollo Platinum Mastercard, advertising a credit line of up to $2,500. The letter specifically stated that they had already reviewed our credit information.

We figured that since THEY approached US with this offer, we would give it a chance.

What happened next? IMMEDIATE REJECTION!

And to make matters worse, shortly afterward, we received a notification that a HARD INQUIRY had been added to our TransUnion credit report!

So this company sends out pre-approved offers, encourages people to apply, rejects them, and leaves them with a potentially damaging hard inquiry.

We understand that pre-approval isn’t a guarantee. But why send these offers claiming you’ve already reviewed someone’s credit information if you’re going to reject them immediately after a full application?

We never would have applied if they hadn’t contacted us first.

My advice: BE VERY CAREFUL with these pre-approved offers from Ollo and Merrick Bank. You could end up with no credit card and a hard inquiry on your credit report, exactly as we did.

Extremely disappointing. One star.

Regret opening a credit card with them, customer service is horrible, not helpful and careless, transferred me around 3 times. Still not able to resolve the issue. After I will find out the resolution to my dispute that was incredibly unfair, I will close this account because they do not serve their customers like other banks in these unfortunate moments.
