Terrible service!!!
Terrible service. You kept $30 from my refund when I returned a jacket that was huge! The sleeves went down well below my hands. Asked for a smaller size and got a refund. What a rip-off! Never again.
Rip off calling in to order!
I went online to place an order. While I was checking out, the system kicked off and said I could not finish my order online, I would have to call in. I did call in. The service rep gave me my total and it was $10.00 higher than what I got online! She advised that when you call in to place an order they charge you $4.99 for the call in service😡😡😡 The shipping charge also increased by $5.00!!!! She tried to reduce the shipping fee, but it only made $3.00 difference! She also went on a spree trying to get me to buy other products and services…WHAAAT??!! I had to totally stop her. I told to cancel my order, not charge my card with ANYTHING. I told her company is just ripping people off (not her). Horrible way to do business, I will never shop here again😡
Expensive Yet Slow Shipping and Terrible Customer Service
Shipping is expensive yet they use the slowest possible delivery service. I ordered a large ($370) order and it shipped 15 days ago. It has not been scanned in at any location for a week. I paid nearly $30 for this shipping. The same amount of $30 would have covered two day shipping from UPS, Fed Ex or USPS. I contacted customer service and was told to be patient. That was 3 days ago and still no movement on this package. DO NOT PURCHASE from this company. Chicos, Coldwater Creek and other similarly priced stores offer free shipping on large orders that is much faster. This store is not worth the time, effort or money.

I have recently discovered NorthStyle and have purchased several garments of different kinds. I have been very pleased with everything I bought from tank tops to corduroy jeans, regular jeans, and shirts. Customer service is wonderful, helpful, prompt. I had to return one item because I bought two by mistake and I was refunded with no problem. The clothes fit as advertised, function as advertised as well. Very, very pleased and will be a customer again in the future. Great catalog too!!

No more sleeveless dresses for 50+
I really want to convey to Northstyle that ladies aged 50 plus with disposable income typically do not buy dresses that are sleeveless. Why do they persist in trying to sell me sleeveless dresses? I'm proud of what I achieve at the gym but I will never go sleeveless. Your silly catalog is so annoying.

There's no "favorites" section, the website pages keep shrinking down and it's painfully slow to name a few problems. If you're unfortunate enough to have to make an exchange for another size, pray they actually read the card and instructions you sent them. Then figure on waiting months for your item. This is also the case for a return.
It takes a long time to get your money back. They do have some nice items if you can tolerate their poor service.

Sadly, I no longer order from North Style or their companion company Appleseeds. I like their clothes but the shipping is awful. First of all they don't send out notification of shipping. Then they use Fedex to ship. If you are lucky enough to get a tracking number, you get watch your order move all over the United States or not move at all while it sits in some warehouse. And that takes weeks. Very poor communication and service.

Three strikes and you're out, Northstyle. After many years of nice products and good service, my last three tries have led to my decision to never darken your virtual doors again. 1. I was charged twice for a single item. It took a couple of calls to Customer Service to correct their mistake. 2. I ordered a pair of in-stock slacks and it took almost 3 weeks and repeated calls from me for them to process the order. 3. I ordered a cute in-stock sweater, my card was charged and everything looked good. Except the order was canceled the next day with no reason. I called and was told the item "is no longer available." I'm done with you, NorthStyle.

Opting "in" for recurring monthly charges should NEVER be the default on an online order. And you can bet your life these SOBs know this.
Avoid at all costs, lest you discover unauthorized monthly charges.

Buyer beware! I purchased one item from Northstyle in November and since noticed I’ve been charged $14.95 a month for a rewards program I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR! Northstyle is sneaky with this charge.
I like the clothes
I like the clothes, but hope you don’t need to return any item. I’ve purchased 3 tunics, one denim vest, 6 tops and a pair of cute jeans. All except one fit and were perfect. The tunic I returned too 2.5 months to get the refund after I had to call and threaten not to purchase any more from them. They need to clean up their return staff and find a process that supports returns.

Return policy on-line said $8.95 return fee... I returned an item and was charged $10.95. It took me several emails & phone calls to get my $2.00 back. Then I had to return another item and the same thing happened. Beware... they charge you more than it states on-line when you order for returns. $10.95 is a ridiculous amount.

I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered from this company. Worst customer service ever! I received a gift card and trie to use it to order online. Since I was unable to find a way to do this, I called customer service to help me. After being passed around to three different people, I was told that I couldn’t get the free shipping offered online. The service person then tried to sell me more clothing than I wanted, and their own credit card. When I angrily tried to cancel my order, the service representative offered to ship my items for $4.95. If not for my gift card, I would have canceled the whole order. I was also given a Northstyle shirt for a Christmas present. Since it was too large, I had to exchange it for the smaller size. I was forced to pay $10 shipping to do this. This company is a rip off and I will never order from them again! Buyer beware!
Ruined my mom's christmas
Ruined my mom's christmas, she wanted some of their clothes so I submitted an order for like $220 bucks and they cancelled my order without notifying me. Honestly screw these people and their customer service. Buy somewhere else.
Ordered a pair of boots
Ordered a pair of boots, returned them as instructed. They 'refunded' instead of the requested exchange. The refund was put on a gift card, I instructed them not to do this. Looks like I'm out $160. STAY AWAY FROM NORTHSTYLE.

I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN. I ordered a sweater and pants. Returned the sweater for an exchange, which I never got. Received a refund for a weird amount so I called them. They refunded the price of the PANTS less shipping for an exchange. Again, I never got an exchange of any kind. I have been waiting for the additional refund for the sweater for 3 months. They keep telling me it has been "escalated".
