Over the years, we’ve been trying to come up with the best way to say, “Hello, we’re Neptune, and this is who we are.” It’s easy to learn that we’re an interiors brand – our stores, and our website will tell you that in no time. But while our designs are a huge part of who we are, ‘the why’ and ‘the how’ almost matter more than ‘the what’. It’s easy to tell you what we do, it’s harder to explain why. Unhelpful staff in York store. Disinterested in sale of kitchen dresser (so ordered online rather than in store). However, delivery was great - Mihai and Ninel were very courteous and professional.

Great service from order to delivery
This was our second order from Neptune and the service provided has been excellent throughout. Our delivery guys, Mihai and Ninel were brilliant and took time to talk us through how our new furniture had been constructed in the event we move home in the future. The pre-delivery communications were excellent as was the sales experience with Nicola and Hannah.

Proceed with caution!
We have been customers of Neptune for many years and so were confident when ordering new sofas. However, sitting on a sofa in the showroom for a short while to sitting for a few hours at home made for a very different comfort factor. Firstly the Eliza sofas are far too high (and my husband is 6'1") and we have to shuffle onto them and shuffle off. The seat base cushions themselves are so deep (almost the width of a single bed) that sitting back feels like Goldilocks sitting in the Father Bear's chair! We have both suffered with back ache since using them as it is almost impossible to get really comfortable due to said height/depth. The sofa tested in the showroom did not feel like this at all and I am assuming this is because we ordered a 4 seater rather than the smaller one in the showroom. However, the comfort factor should not be an issue at this price point. The overall design of the larger sofa is really not, in our opinion, fit for purpose and we are highly disappointed considering how much we have paid for them and ordering two versus 1.

Allow plenty of time to browse
Neptune in York is such a pleasure to visit and get ideas for interior inspo. So many lovely things, it’s worth saving up to invest in the quality pieces. We chose a beautiful oak dining table, side board, bench and floor mat. The delivery period was longer than expected but we were happy to wait. The delivery team were superb! They were polite, punctual, tidy and assembled the item in position.

Hi, We ordered 2no Affinity pictures, separately. First had extensive package damage, opened ( initial wrong address delivery?)No contact with us prior delivery .Fortunately picture had no damage. Reported to York Neptune who we felt treated matter with little empathy and blamed Dx courier.
Second picture arrived safely by Dx but again packaging damaged but picture ok

Whilst expensive
Whilst expensive, the quality is undeniable so each individual must decide if it’s worth it.
Any dissatisfaction that we might have concerns the delivery time. Firstly it takes literally months before you will receive the goods. Even then the delivery date kept getting pushed back, which was frustrating.
On the plus side the actual delivery went very smoothly. The delivery guys Mihai and Nobel were very good, both friendly, helpful and respectful of the process.
We have bought from Neptune before and will probably do so again in the future.

Freestanding Unit
Unfortunately the unit arrived with a few marks in the paintwork which was a bit disappointing from Neptune. However the delivery team (Mihai and Ninel) were great. They arrived on time and were very friendly and helpful. They installed the unit and took the time to explain our options and then touch up the paint work by hand on the areas we were not happy with. Their work was very precise and made the unit look great. Brilliant customer service from Mihai and Ninel - thank you

Great process and beautiful kitchens
Absolutely love my new Neptune kitchen. The process was really smooth and the fitters were exceptional- everyone really cared about the end result. John (in charge of the fitting) gave excellent customer care and was really communitive.
The store is also gorgeous (I would live there if I could)
