Over the years, we’ve been trying to come up with the best way to say, “Hello, we’re Neptune, and this is who we are.” It’s easy to learn that we’re an interiors brand – our stores, and our website will tell you that in no time. But while our designs are a huge part of who we are, ‘the why’ and ‘the how’ almost matter more than ‘the what’. It’s easy to tell you what we do, it’s harder to explain why. That’s where our philosophy – a different perspective – comes in. Three words that sum up our entire reason for being.

A beautiful shop with very helpful staff. I bought 2 pendant lights which were too large for my room and needed to exchange for smaller ones which although I couldn’t see them in the brochure within a few minutes they called me back to staff confirm they could get them. No hassle and sorted so quickly by great staff. Thank you.

Disappointed
I love Neptune but have been disappointed by the Colchester branch recently. It is a reasonable drive for us to get there and I was looking forward to visiting last weekend. Didn’t have in stock anything I was planning on buying. Wasted time and petrol.

Neptune dining table
We had our dining table delivered by Neptune recently, who were very accommodating with delivery times and it was a faultless delivery, the second delivery we have had from Neptune in recent months. Very professional service.

I have recently had the home design…
I have recently had the home design service and am over the moon with the end result. The service from everyone at the Colchester store has been fantastic.
Debbie, my designer, in particular has gone above and beyond to ensure that I was happy with the result. From the initial consultation where Debbie really got to know me and how we live in my home all the way through to delivery and after care nothing has been too much trouble.
My only critiscm comes with the delivery and quality control.
In short, this was not a white glove delivery as promoted on the website. In fact there were no gloves on my pale oat linen sofa! Although the guys were all extremely polite.
It also appears that quality control is non existent. A replacement Ardingly drinks cabinet was sent out in a worse condition than my original and a different specification.
Debbie and the Colchester store manager have resolved any issues I have had very quickly and have been more than fair - I cannot fault the store or the staff there at all and will most definitely be using their home design service again - watch out Debbie...!

Thank you for taking the time to leave your thoughts. I am very sorry to hear you feel you’ve experienced terrible customer service with us, but delighted to hear you love the product.
After delivery of your product, we spoke and you explained you were expecting an alternative direction border for you blinds (Vertical as opposed to Horizontal).
I can confirm that the team and I took time to review all correspondence, including the original quote, liaised with our external partners and sought to find a resolution for you. This took a little longer than we would have liked and I have apologised to you via our on-going communications for this. Once again, please accept my apologies.
Our enquiries identified that at all times a Horizontal border was communicated and stated on the order. Unfortunately we can only order exactly what is requested and what is confirmed by the customer when placing their order. We recognise the disappointment and frustration you have felt and we always want our customers to be happy which is why I have personally been in continuous communication with you over the past few weeks.
We will always accept responsibility when, and if, we fall short. However, on this occasion we have delivered the product to the specification that was ordered.
