I love buying from Nars and their products, is amazing , Laguna 08 is my favourite Bronzer , I love it

I’ve tried a variety of Nars products and their quality is always really good and consistent:). I am extremely fair/pale and find their light reflecting foundation in shade Oslo is the best shade match of a foundation I have ever tried. It doesn’t oxidise at all. Their new liquid blushes are also so stunning!

Tried the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation and I’m seriously impressed! 😍 It gives a natural, radiant finish with full coverage that lasts all day—without feeling heavy or cakey.

Blends like a dream, stays put for hours, and comes in a great range of shades. Perfect for everyday glam or special occasions. A little goes a long way!

I picked up The Multiple and The Multiple Sculpting Stick in the shades Fling & Cove, along with the Afterglow Lip Balm in Midnight Swim.

They're the perfect travel-friendly sizes to slip into my bag whenever I'm out and about. The lip balm feels soo nourishing, glides on effortlessly and leaves my lips feeling moisturised.
I'd love to see even more products released in mini sizes, as well as curated duos and sets. Very convenient for travel, and touch-ups!

NARS ignored a clear shade-consistency problem

I bought NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation in Aruba from Lookfantastic after first trying a NARS sample pot in exactly the same shade. The full-sized bottle was visibly different from the sample: duller, more ochre and much less peachy.

I do not believe this was Lookfantastic’s fault. I subsequently swatched Aruba at a NARS counter in Space NK, and that tester matched the bottle I had bought.

However, when I visited the actual NARS shop in Covent Garden, their Aruba tester much more closely matched my original sample pot. It was slightly lighter, possibly because my sample had oxidised, but both were distinctly peachier than my full-sized bottle. The NARS staff themselves could see that there was a difference.

Different official NARS samples, testers and bottles labelled Aruba therefore did not match one another. Yet when I contacted NARS and later raised the matter in their shop, they simply repeated that opened products could not be returned.

This completely failed to address the complaint I was making. I could not possibly have discovered that the contents of the bottle differed from the sample without opening it.

I understand that NARS was not the retailer that processed my purchase. However, this is their foundation, their shade designation and their sampling system. They made no meaningful attempt to investigate the batch, explain the discrepancy or offer a replacement, even after their own staff witnessed the difference.

I did exactly what customers are advised to do before buying an expensive foundation: I sampled the shade first. I have nevertheless been left with an expensive bottle that I cannot use.

To compound my disappointment, NARS then declined to publish my factual review on its own website. For a premium cosmetics brand, both the apparent shade inconsistency and the rigid, dismissive customer service have not been good.

My products arrived in perfect condition and within the timeframe.
