False and malicious accusation: The facts are, that this accuser Cathal Young 1) failed on three attempts to complete the sales procedures and transaction preparations required by compliance regulations. resulting in a very large increase in costs and expenses, and 2) that he requested MyTapu increase the sales price of his property above the EUR 103,000 he obtained from another agent, and mytapu did increase the sales price by finding buyers for prices above Eur 125,000, a very large increase of approximately 20%, after which he has refused to pay the fee he agreed.

The allegations stated by this real estate agent Cathal Young are factually inaccurate and incorrect, as proven by verifiable documentary evidence, much of which has been previously stated in written emails from the accuser, and contracts signed by the accuser, himself.

Shockingly bad company.
I used them to help me sell my apartment in Turkey, from a distance, by issuing a power of attorney.
They are completely useless at completing the sales process. Their transaction manager Conrad tried get me to enter an additional incentive agreement, above the agreed fixed fee, if he achieved a higher sales price. I stupidly agreed. However I achieved the higher sales price with the buyer and told mytapu the incentive agreement was now void because it was not through their work. I got no response.

After spending about €2,500, they wouldn’t even tell me the bank account details of the bank account they opened for me. How very strange.

This guy Conrad, I was told was in an explosion in his apartment and couldn’t be reached and I never heard from him again. The company has no telephone number and you can only contact them by email. When i do contact them, i realised I was being played by their vague answers and delays.

I cancelled the power of attorney, but they wanted about €8,000 off me for the incentive agreement above!!!! Can you believe that? The sale hasn’t even completed and they asked for this? Unbelievable!

I got a phone call off Conrad at one point, a conman, who pretended he previously worked for the world bank, saying he urgently needed monies to pay off some expenses and local property taxes. About €750. I’ll never see that money again.

On another occasion, Conrad suggested that I sell the apartment twice (by this i mean, sell it to someone who can can then sell it on quickly without the actual buyer knowing who the true owner is) so as to get people interested in golden visas to buy it. This smelled of corruption and a scam. Not to mention double fees for him.

Avoid this company!
