I started my yearly subscription on the 3rd of May, 2024 and so far I am happy for the product and customer service I received (they usually reply in a matter of minutes). I was looking for VPN with wide selection of servers/locations and IPs there and so far MysteriumVPN meets my needs.
I wish they can improve connections to Asia making it more stable in terms of latency and speed, however Asian servers isn't my top priority, therefore I give them 5 stars!

So I've been using MysteriumVPN for a few days now. The first day was actually good, no issues. However the past 3 days I've been getting disconnected from every node I try to connect to within a few minutes of connecting, sometimes even seconds. It's impossible to us the internet. I tried contacting support with extensive information/screenshots only for them to be closed the whole entire day on Tuesday and for them to ask me 1 question just to go offline again. They call this "Live Support". Personally I think someone is attacking their service and there is no actual way of seeing the status of their service. I know they use WireGuard protocol but it has nothing to do with them. The webpage status.mysteriumvpn (which is advertised on their website) does not exist. Same with their social media accounts or discord server. Their e-mail address is the only way of contacting them, but I doubt you'll get a response within a somewhat decent time period. The MysteriumVPN desktop app is also highly underwhelming. the only status you can see is (connected or disconnected) And it doesn't update on dropped connections, only when the user clicks disconnect.

I am purchase one month subscription after few days he will deactivate my subscription I just contact on help asking by deactivate my subscription he will asking you are billing is temporary suspended I am asking how to fix this issue he will not responsing I just asking for refund he will not giving a money back it's doing scam

i bought 1 month of this vpn and had to reinstall it 4 times cause it couldnt connect and after 26 days and even reinstalling didnt help

The vpn always disconnects me during my work and has been so annoying..some times, it just won't connect for hours.
Being trying to contact a customer care rep to apply for a refund but no response.

I had just bought the subscription on Monday last week and I have lost more than I can imagine since using this vpn

Needed a residential IP in Ukraine. Used MysteriumVPN and was able to watch 2hrs of an online streaming service no problems at all.

Firstly, it is impossible to connect using the Windows application. As soon as you try to connect, it takes forever and results in error code 1112. I have tried reinstalling, fixing network adapters and so on, but nothing works and there is no help available.

To at least try the service, I got the Android app and after checking several IPs via ipinfo.io, it became clear that this was false advertising.
So-called "residential" IPs are advertised, but almost none of the providers are known to offer residential services in Germany. In reality, you get easy to catch ISP IPs that will not bypass a good AntiVPN. The connection is also fairly slow compared to usual VPNs. I cannot recommend this VPN at all, any proxy will do better.

I hope to try and get a refund as this is not what you would expect from the claims.

worst vpn service EVER!!!!!!!!!!! claims I have 6 devices connected and won't let me connect which is false because I use it only on 1 pc. When a miracle happens and I'm actually able to connect guess what? I get disconnected from the internet CONSTANTLY so yeah this DOES NOT WORK. To put the cherry on top they have absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE or any way what so ever to contact them. These are legit scammers!!!!!

BEWARE!!they are scammers, i have been using their vpn, randomly a lot of times, balance in the myst coin credits disappears from the account, they have no support,tried everything

This VPNs got some positives and negatives but it did seem to help me with one problem that most VPNs couldn’t help me with, though getting a refund is nearly impossible, the terms and conditions say to email their help email for a refund if it’s under seven days yet I have not gotten a reply for at least three days with a update. VPN also says how I have 6 devices connected which is the limit but I do not? I only have myself and one friend connected and even one of my friends were unable to login even when they got the ‘magic link’. Will never be using this VPN again due to the terrible customer service and how the VPN randomly disconnects when connected, It lasted good for the past 2 days but then turned terrible right after. I have an update regarding the services of MysteriumVPN, they replied to me after a week and decided to give me a full refund. Customer service replied within five minutes today right when they messaged me when i replied.

I have been using both the Mac desktop app and the iOS app for almost a year, both for Mysterium VPN and Mysterium Dark. The first thing you need to know is that bugs are constant across all apps and platforms. Normally, the apps do not work half of the time. I have reported the problems countless times through the app and/or Discord, but they barely respond or pay attention. You are going to get tired of restarting, uninstalling, reinstalling... in the hope of making it work again.

The second thing is that for some time now, the IP pool of MysteriumVPN is full of datacenter IPs and residential proxies, which databases like IP2Location detect and flag instantly. Well done Mysterium, we pay for this app to have clean, undetectable residential IPs (maximum privacy) and you can't think of anything better than to allow the mass inclusion of datacenter IPs. For that, better to go back to a traditional VPN.

I paid for subscription for life time period,after they change the way we login in normaly with a file as password , now i lost my money ther is no support NO Email contacte !!!

I loved how mysterium let you PPU (Pay Per Use), that service has been discontinued, which made me a bit sad, but their new subscription based vpn, works better than any other vpn on top of being the only i have ever used that doesnt flag AntiVPN.

Update #2: Unbelievable. The app is very unstable. When it connects it works but that does not happen all the time. It feels like the software is not properly tested that is why there is constantly something wrong. User interface is very basic. You are notified about the updates through customer service as a response to your ticket. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this VPN service

Update: I got a refund without any hassle and it turned out to be temporary issue. I bought 2 year subscription again and all is working as expected.

I assume that all of their positive reviews are paid by them. I paid for 2 year subscription, downloaded the VPN from Microsoft Store and it does not work. It just does not connect to any server. I also tried with their Android app, but no luck. There is no support whatsoever. They claim that they have 24/7 support but that is not true. I wish I could attach the screenshot I took from the live chat. It says "our usual reply time is a few hours". Moreover, there is no support outside working hours. You can go and try it yourself in "live chat". You get 7 days trial period. So, I cancelled my subscription after trying to connect for couple of hours with no support. Once I cancelled, I saw a message saying "You can continue using the service until the next payment date". Now, I am worried that they will charge me for their useless product. Stay away!

The VPN service is decent, offering effective servers that keep you hidden from public view. If you get banned from a service, turning on Myst allows you to quickly continue without detection that you're using a VPN. However, the network feels sluggish and slow. With a 199 ping from the US to US and download/upload speeds of 30, it's definitely not good for tasks that even a free VPN can handle.

Really nice app very strong connection and faster internet you should really check this out
