Difficult Returns & Customer Service via AI

I ordered two of European pillows, at the time they were both in stock. A few days later l received an email telling me that only one of the items was in stock. I receive one European pillowcase, which I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with the one, since they are used as a pair. So I then requested a return, which I had to jump through multiple hurdles making the process extremely difficult. I call them multiple times before being told that I had to go through their chat AI bot however every time I requested the return form to fill out the AI bot would just send me their refund policy which had no link containing the form so we just went back-and-forth despite requesting multiple times to speak to a real person. Finally, I was able to get onto a real person. I was told if I wanted a refund I would have to pay the postage cost despite it being a mistake on behalf of Myer. I asked them to send me the second European pillow to which they denied. They said it was a 'change of mind request which is was not. I would not recommend purchasing bedding from them, it's a trap to offload their old stock.

Rotten Service - Online purchase $780..18/3 pl as ced order, myer online tracking order couldn’t fine order, rang operator who said she could see it had been dispatched but couldn’t see where to , o would raise an investigation for new number - would take 3-5 days. Next day I received SMS from Auspost to say delivery btw 1 -3.30 & tracking number. Order didn’t arrive, checked tracking and it had been delivered to the north of TAs, I live in Hobart - totally wrong delivery location. I found a number, staff were rude, disinterested and unhelpful. Transferred my call multiple times, did onnected call, I have no way of retrieving my order. What do I do

Ineptitude at its finest!

It is infuriating to receive an online order of clothing with the security tag still attached. The online automated “assistant” was useless, meaning I now have to find time to go in-store to have it removed. What an absolute JOKE!

Absolute Nightmare – Broken Items & Ridiculous Return Process

I recently ordered 12 black Maxwell & Williams bowls from Myer’s website, and it has been one of the worst online shopping experiences I’ve ever had.

The Delivery: Half of my order arrived smashed. 6 bowls were fine, but the other 6 were completely broken.

The Service: This is where it gets truly insane. I called customer service to get replacements sent out, and instead of just fixing the problem, they told me they cannot send replacements because the items come from a vendor. Their "solution"? I have to get a refund, re-purchase the items myself online, and then wait 24–48 hours for them to "apply" for a $10 shipping voucher so I’m not out of pocket for delivery.

The Staff: I spoke to Joshua, who flat-out refused to organize the shipping voucher upfront and told me I’d have to buy them first and then call back again. I called a second time and spoke to Brooklyn, who kept me on hold for 20 minutes just to tell me the exact same thing. To make it worse, I was told that if the price of the bowls increases while I’m waiting for my refund/voucher, I just have to hope the refund covers it.

Bottom Line: Myer is making the customer jump through hoops and take a financial risk to fix their mistake. It is rigid, inefficient, and honestly, the worst customer service I’ve dealt with in a long time. Save yourself the headache and buy your dinnerware elsewhere.

Cherrill served me in homewares today

Cherrill served me in homewares today at Myer Galleria Morley WA. She was so so so lovely and helpful. She was very friendly and chatty and she made my day. Its a rare occurrence in this day and age to be served by someone like Cherrill. Wish all your staff were like her. She was like a breath of fresh air. Thank you very much.

never received my order

I ordered some bed sheets online and never received them, I had to contact the customer service team multiple times and waited for ages on the phone, they also wanted me to keep checking up on the issue instead of them taking ownership of the problem. Eventually it appeared that their courier couldn't deliver them to me as no-one was home but they didn't leave a card or tried to contact me in any way to rearrange delivery. I received an email saying they delivered them however I never received them and so far I haven't received any evidence (ie: a photo) that they did. I have asked for a refund and am still waiting to hear back from them. Is the Myer online store a SCAM!??!?!

I have been a loyal Gold Card customer…

I have been a loyal Gold Card customer for a long time , i had updated my address online. Checked out online after paying then realized it had reverted back to my old address , i immediately changed it again to my old address. I then received the email saying they were preparing part of my order and it had my old address on it . I rung Customer care at Myers i was told there's not much that can be done about that . Then i rung back again i hoping to get someone who was a bit more enthusiastic to help me! But no i was meet with You have to ring the courier company when you get the consignment number and change the address with them . So with in 10 minutes of placing the order nobody at Myers could update the delivery address before it went to the couriers ! On the Monday morning i rung the couriers only to be told no sorry only Myers con change the address ! so i rung Myers back again for the third time , this time the young lady said yes i can put in a redirection of the address for you , because there was two parcels i asked her will that update both parcels she stated yes , so hung up at 9.30am feeling relieved that these expensive parcels were being redirected after being brushed off over the weekend by the other Myers operators. Then at 11.30am i received a email from Myers internal people asking me was i wanting to redirect the whole package or parts of the package and that they could not guarantee a redirection of the package ! The email was barely made sense it was written that bad , the English was terrible! and then it happened another email confirming the next package was on its way and it was being sent to my old address ! I rung Myers immediately asked to speak to complaints, I could barely understand the person on the other end of the phone , she informed that i had to contact the courier company , i needed to change the address, she could not do it , i explained the young lady had done it in the morning for me then she tells me that order had been cancelled and that was now being delivered to my old address ! I tried to explain to her the courier company told me i cant change the address Myers has to do it, she just became irate telling me no i had to do it , and that my order is going to my old address. I explained i was five hours away from old address that i could not just pop around and pick it up she stated its not her problem. I asked for some higher as i wanted to take the complaint further she told me no she could give me a email address but i could not speak to any one. I just hung up in frustration. Then i messaged them on line only to be told i will be refunded if it goes to the wrong address and when the other people return the items ! I will not be purchasing from Myers again , i have been using Myers for over 15 years i want be back again ! Disgusting treatment

Myer 14 days is normal KPI for an online order

Myer believe it is perfectly acceptable to take 14 days to deliver an item. If you call they are happy to state yes your item is overdue. They then happily proceed and tell you to wait until its 14 days or more since it was with their courier before they will even get a little concerned. Don't buy anything that you might need in the next 2 weeks.

The worst customer service experience…

The worst customer service experience of my whole life. I am in disbelief at how bad they are. I have been onto the Gift Card department 3 times today to fix the smallest issue, spent over an hour total on the line, and I still am no further toward a resolution. I can't believe I have to call these guys again tomorrow. Hire some competent staff.

Terrible experience

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Myer. I placed an order for a mattress on 17 February, which was advertised as having a delivery timeframe of 3–7 business days. Unfortunately, the mattress was apparently lost in transit, and at no point did anyone contact me to inform me of the issue or provide an update.

Instead, I had to spend a significant amount of time chasing this up myself. After finally learning what had happened, I requested a refund over a week ago, yet I am still waiting for it to be processed. When I called again yesterday, I was told the refund had not even been processed yet.

To make matters worse, I was promised twice that a manager would call me back to resolve the situation, and both times this never happened.To make matters worse, no form of compensation, solution, or customer support was offered despite the delay and inconvenience.

Overall, this has been an incredibly frustrating experience. The lack of communication, delays in processing a refund, and failure to follow through on promised callbacks demonstrate very poor customer service. I expected much better from a major retailer like Myer.

Myer App

My experience with the Myer app has not been good, as it has not been working properly for the last couple of months. The home page, profile, points, activities, and My Rewards sections are not working.

I am able to log in and scan my card when shopping in store, but the rest of the features are not functioning.

I hope the issue can be resolved as soon as possible.

Made me pay for their error

I purchased a gift for my 5 year olds birthday, they posted a bra instead. When I called to tell them of their error they said they would send me a postage paid envelope to return it but would only offer a refund for my purchase, not send me what I had actually ordered, and would only give said refund once they have received their bra back.
Made me repurchase (so then had double my money) and couldn’t express post to ensure my daughters gift would arrive in time.
Gave me a $15 voucher as ‘goodwill’ for the inconvenience, but told me I couldn’t use it to purchase the gift as it was ‘still being processed’.
An absolute joke

My experience with Myer Online has been…

My experience with Myer Online has been atrocious. Their ability to fulfill orders is so hit and miss and on three separate occasions Ive had to chase deliveries that have either disappeared off the parcel tracking or have arrived 4 weeks after they show as been sent. The online concierge chat is less than useless, emailling them just results in continued server delivery delay emails and their contact centre dont want to know about your issue and just want to refer you back to their parcel tracking info in the app. My latest (& last ever) parcel went missing, Myer where not helpful and I spent two weeks chasing down the parcel with the Courier Please who themselves couldn't locate the parcel but were communicative and their team tried to be as helpful as they could. Cutting to the chase the parcel arrived in what could be described as ceramic dust rather than 8 plates and I cant get any response from Myer on how they are going to resolve this. NEVER AGAIN

Absolutely disgraceful “customer service“ bought men’s BOXERS aka sleepwear online
Ordered wrong size realised error as soon as received
Posted back - unopened!!
Received them back in post with refund denied slip attached.
Back n forth with”customer support” ( more like zero support)
Got nowhere so logged with fair trade to investigate .
Boxers are not in the excused from refund list .
As for being open-the customer service team in refund department opened them to assess!! And then declined refund because they were open!!
Myers is a disgrace.

Worst online shopping experience

Did online shopping from MYER, took them 7 days to cancel 3/4 of my order, I had also used 10$ voucher for this purchase, they disregarded my $10voucher which I had applied and offered me a new 10$ voucher-.- finally items arrived after 11 days, out of 3 items 2 were white in color, both had either make up marks / black mark on the clothes. Like seriously, the worst online shopping ever man !
