Today I placed an online order

Today I placed an online order, but unfortunately it was sent to the wrong address. I only realized this when I received the order confirmation email from Mayer. I called customer service to ask for help fixing it. They told me they couldn’t change the delivery address and that I would need to contact the post office to request an address change. I was very disappointed because I expected them to be able to help their customers.

Uses unreliable courier service

Myer uses Couriers Please to deliver online product customers purchase. Complaint after complaint about Couriers Please on various online platforms (one popular review site records Courier Please as having 90% negative reviews).

Myer is being mentioned within those complaints as still using this unprofessional and dishonest courier service to deliver goods customers purchase from their store. Reviewers are warning others not to buy from Myer and other stores (Kmart mentioned frequently as well).

As a disabled person who frequents online shopping and relies heavily upon this service, there are things I would like to buy from Myer - but yet I won’t, purely because of the courier company Myer uses. I cannot take the risk that I will never receive what I paid for (couriers are clearly stealing parcels if you read the reviews) or that I will somehow miraculously receive the parcel but it will be damaged (couriers throwing parcels).

Ordered a present for someone online

Ordered a present for someone online, 10 days later I get an email saying my order has been cancelled and then my money won't be refunded to me for another 3 days. Cheers Myer you have really let me down and left me in the lurch.

Warning re Myer Online Returns

I have had lots of good experiences with Myer online store until my last order. I ordered some bras. One pair came enclosed in a plastic bag with it's tag unattached and loose in the bag. I returned that bra because it did not fit, in the bag with its tag, just as I received it. Myer online warehouse returned it to me and said they could not refund me because the tag wasn't attached!!!! They didn't even phone me to ask me why it wasn't attached! They simply returned it with a note to say it was unreturnable because the tag was unattached! I phoned them to say that I received the bras like that from them but they would not accept my explanation! I find this pretty upsetting as I have been a good customer of their's for a long time with no issues until now! So Myer themselves sent the bras to me in an unreturnable condition and I'm stuck with them! I'm left feeling vulnerable when it comes to online shopping now! That an online shop can send you something in a unreturnable condition and you are landed with it!!! What can we do about this??? I could have phoned them when I received the bras but would they have believed me? I have contacted ACCC and have been advised to write a letter of complaint.

Ordered a kitchen mixer with a ceramic bowl (I live 3 hours away from nearest store, so it had to be online) it obviously arrived damaged, was told I could drive 3 hours to a store to swap out, was trying to email to see what store had stock only to be told that I was given the wrong advise and I would have to post the item back. If it was posted back it could take a week or so to “investigate” the item before I could get a refund/exchange.
Each service team you speak to gives you a complete difference answer.

I am writing to compliment one of your staff at Myer Southland Chanel Counter. This young lady has shown excellent customer service well above all expectations.

Zero star for myer online customer…

Zero star for myer online customer service. Disgusting service whether phone call with actual person or email..which is AI based so never actually get a hu.an response! Took 4 months to get a refund even though they admitted the supplier was at fault. I got an apology, but it was fake and kept being told to be patient! 4 months is extremely patient I think..don't rely on online shopping to be correct or timely. Shocking, I always thought of Myer as being a reputable company..now I'm thoroughly disappointed.

Terrible Experience – Do Not Recommend

I had a miserable experience with Myer online. They sent the wrong item and then made the return process unnecessarily difficult by providing incorrect instructions. After wasting hours on hold and dealing with constant delays, the issue remains unresolved.
Now, we are heading overseas, and the replacement will likely arrive while we are away. The lack of efficiency and poor communication has been exhausting. I will never shop with Myer again

DISAPPOINTING - BUYER BEWARE

Very disappointing experience with Myer. I purchased a coverlet and matching pillowcases that were clearly advertised as a pair, only to receive a single pillowcase. Myer has acknowledged this was an error on their website, yet they are refusing to honour what was advertised and will only offer a refund.

I specifically purchased the items together (over $340) to have a complete set, so a refund is not a reasonable solution. Extremely frustrating that a large retailer will not stand by their own advertising. Poor customer service and no accountability.

Placed a online order on Sunday but not long after I realised it was going to wrong address. Rang on Monday to see if staff could help. Rang 136937 placed on hold for around 20 mins eventually Rita picked up and was I told I can’t do anything until I receive the delivery email. VERY POOR SERVICE Waiting so long for someone to pick up and I can’t do anything until I receive the delivery email

ery frustrated

I have had the exact same experience as a couple of other poor customers. My order defaulted to an old address, even though it had been changed for a long time. I immediately tried to call customer service, where I waited and waited to be hung up on 3 times. I finally got through to a human, where the overseas line was so bad, I could barely understand. Nothing could be done. I have been a loyal Myer customer for years, but that's it, no more. What has happened to our once beautiful country, it is NOT ok to treat customers like this! Grrrr

Don’t waste your time

If you want to make an online order that disappears into thin air upon payment, then resurfaces a couple of weeks later, (eg when you are on holiday) this is your place. Try to track the parcel? Receive message on tracking link “something went wrong, try again.” I try again, same message for days. It’s like they took $120 from me just to annoy me. Eventually (7 days after ordering) I received an email from Auspost saying they received the parcel. Already outside the “expect delivery 3/7 days metro area” timeframe. And even that is now delayed. Don’t waste your time there are better alternatives. Australia should not accept such shoddy service. I still have not got my bed linen… as I am now on holiday hoping it’s sitting at my front door as there was no option to redirect delivery or deliver to a pick up location …

Fantastic service at Myer Joondalup

Just when I thought good old fashioned service was a thing of the past I was served by Victoria from Clinique today. She went above and beyond to get me my perfect foundation. I am so happy with my purchases and the exceptional service I received from Victoria at Myer Joondalup. Thank you!

Lack of customer service

Attempted to purchase a piece of lingerie today at Myer Bourke St store. Unsuccessful at 2 cashpoints. First attempt at one service desk staff were discussing their lunch break while 5 customers were waiting. I then proceeded to another cashpoint on the same floor and no one was serving. I left my item on the desk and won't be back. I noticed the store was quiet, no wonder.

Myer online followup is unacceptable

Myer's online customer experience is rigid, rote script-reading that is totally unrealistic and unhelpful. As a regular MyerOne online customer, I noticed my invoice was mislabelled with a non-existent address: the road was incorrect. I promptly followed up, hoping to rectify it. Then tried again and again. No one in the team has even a rudimentary understanding of the word 'service'. Far less were they able to rectify their mistake... And with no supervisor ever available, its 'customer experience' is a complete disgrace.

Totally disappointed in Myer

Totally disappointed in Myer. I purchased a pair of shoes online then had to go overseas for a family emergency. When I came back after a month and a half realized the shoe was big called and took the shoe to Myer for an exchange for the next size down and they refused saying it’s the policy. But come one can Myer not make an exception for a genuine case. I only wanted the same style in a smaller size. This is disappointing and not great service.

This was my first and last order

This was my first and last order. I bought 5 items, which came divided in 4 parcels! I hate when they do this. Plus, one of the items got cancelled after 9 days of waiting.I reordered, as the item was in stock, I even paid for extra shipping, as I did not want to buy more to get free shipping. They cancelled it again. Again, reordered and cancelled. I gave up after that and won't buy from ever again.
