This is a scam website. They accept everyone and instantly charge you $300 membership fee. Total absolute dog-shit.

Similar experience as the authors of the prior reviews.
Overpriced, under delivered, a muslim ponzi scheme.
Some people get 'accepted' just by entering their names and their occupation.
So there is no actual credibility to them stating they are curated and exclusive.
They sell you the idea that you'll be meeting (and you'll be a part of) exclusive people that you wouldn't meet otherwise.
These people are on all the apps fyi.
If you are single hoping to use this platform to meet other hopefuls.. steer clear!
Key points:
1/Hefty annual fee, little to no return in terms of the experience
2/Each event has a separate fee, also non refundable. Inconveniently timed and on inconvenient days. Same locations repeated. You're looking at dinners, coffee meetups and game nights at coffee meetups. That...is it.
3/They have 'hosts' for each event that are just marking attendance. Not facilitating mingling between the guests. It's just do whatever once you get there.
4/ They operate this thing like a cult. You can't complain because it is what it is.

My experience with the Musly club was a classic bait and switch scenario. Promises of match making in an increasingly difficult dating environment for Muslims, curated events that seek to connect like minded members and a modern app to bring everyone together.

Once they got my money, I found a glitchy excuse for an app that none of the members use and is not fit for purpose, members who possess no concept of social etiquette (pointing to a lack of vetting or sufficient selection process), and events that were in no way value for money or 'curated'.

The events are simply rinse and repeat, don't actually put people together with anything in common and are wildly over priced - not to mention the extremely strict and unfair refund policy. The matchmaking service was silently sunset with very little communication. The WhatsApp groups which had become the member preferred method for connecting with each other were also switched off without notice with the most confusing and illogical communication after the fact.

Musly leadership is unwilling to act on constructive feedback, but are very ready and willing to shut it down, censoring any discourse that does not align with their preferred narrative for the club.

Expec to be kicked out of the community with no notice, cease and desist threats, and authoritarian control of how users can actually connect with each other. Musly will pocket your money and not deliver on their promises. Join with caution

I joined hoping for a genuinely curated community and have been disappointed on almost every front.

The in-person events felt repetitive, with underwhelming food and a real lack of on-the-ground community builders in both the London and New York groups. The app has been buggy throughout my membership, with slow progress on fixes given the price.

What moved me from disappointed to actively unhappy was how the team handles feedback. I've personally observed members who raised concerns being abruptly removed from the community and then the chats being locked down. Feedback posted on the chats and the in-app community board will always be deleted.

Feedback has since been funnelled into a private form. Most strikingly, the entire community was locked during Ramadan with no warning and no real explanation.

I can only speak to my own experience as a paying member: poor value, an unreliable product, and a team that appears to respond to criticism by shutting it down rather than addressing it. I won't renew and wouldn't recommend it.

An absolute rip-off. They capture you by saying that they are building a “curated community” but their channels and their app are super broken! I was signed up months before I even had access to anything. There is no vetting who has access to your profile depending on your membership, dating or networking and that means most of the connections are a waste of time. The membership is not necessarily too expensive but the events are extortionate, the places picked barely even halal which is rich coming from a “Muslim” club. Then you have the WhatsApp groups, drama beyond drama, half the people in there are not even members and have slipped in, every two seconds they delete or change the community channels and they lead with a hammer so people are afraid to speak up or ask for more. The events are rushed, not well planned and a waste of time. The Slack group is a ghost town. And the app is quite frankly delete-able and forgetful, so buggy that loading it breaks your phone half the time. You reach out for cancellation or refunds they ignore you, give them feedback they also ignore you. An absolute trap.
