I love that it is easy to share lyrics, update and it helps the artists engage with the fans and the community feels so much more engaged

I was trying to find lyrics for a song and I literally had to spend 10 minutes solving hundreds of CAPTCHAs every single time I searched even 2 letters and every single time I solved one CAPTCHA

Musixmatch is doing really well with real-time lyrics that sync perfectly with Spotify and Apple Music. I love the floating lyrics feature and the translation tool - it helps me understand foreign songs easily. The app is simple to use and the database is huge. Overall, great app for music lovers!

Zunächst einmal:
Ich habe ein Abo für Künstler und bezahle dafür auch einen ordentlichen jährlichen Betrag. Dementsprechend erwarte ich auch eine gewisse Gegenleistung für mein Geld.

Der Upload und das synchronisieren von Text und Musik läuft nicht ganz reibungslos und erfordert mehrere Versuche. Die Texte sind dann aber irgendwann mal fertig synchronisiert und online bei Streaming-Diensten verfügbar (bei Tidal zB innerhalb von wenigen Minuten, Spotify braucht etwa 3-4 Tage). Nach ein paar Tagen verschwinden dann aber die Texte wieder bei Tidal - bei Spotify bleiben sie (bislang). Lt. Tidal-Support liegt das Problem bei Musixmatch, es werden keine oder fehlerhafte Daten geliefert.
Der Musixmatch-Support allerdings stellt sich tot. Der KI-Chatbot schreibt, er gebe die Sache an das Support-Team und dann kommt nichts mehr. Auf Emails reagiert Musixmatch auch nicht. Ich denke, ich werde mein Abo zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt kündigen, für den Quatsch verlangen die noch Geld? Nur ein Teil der vertraglichen Leistungen liefern UND keinen Support geben.
Unglaublich.

Über die KI-Zusammenfassung bzw. Interpretation der Songtexte will ich mich gar nicht erst aufregen. Die KI spinnt sich einen Blödsinn zusammen und den kann man nicht mal ändern. Wenn man versucht den Text zu überarbeiten und speichert, denkt sich die KI stattdessen eine neue Blödheit aus und verwirft meine Änderungen.
Ich würde ja an den Support schreiben, aber ach ja, es gibt ja keinen Support bei Musixmatch…

Communication is terrible. New albums don't usually show up in my roster so I have to contact them to add my albums so I can add lyrics. This last time I've been waiting for a week, and no one has responded to my inquiry. When it works its good, but its terrible to have to wait a week or longer to add lyrics. This undoubtedly hurts the release when people can't see lyrics. They want you to pay to have the lyrics available at release, but why would I pay when the support is like this?

Initially I faced a backlog issue of about 3 months where i wouldn't hear back from anyone. But then I was connected to Pamela from Musixmatch who saw my issue through. She was very quick and professional with replies and actually helped resolve my issue. I was very happy to finally see the issue being addressed, being accounted for and actually being resolved.

Every year the music industry forces something new on me. This year it's Musixmatch to get my lyrics syndicated on Spotify and recognized by AI search engines. I would greatly prefer to just use my distributor as was perfectly fine and normal for the last 20 something years of online music. This is the most frustrating platform I have ever used. Starting with the 30 day verification process for artists. Then it fails to sync with Spotify constantly. Connected and reconnected so many times. Deleted the cache. Restarted the browser. All the everything that you could possibly do to fix the issue. I just won't link up most of the time. I spend hours trying to overcome technical glitches and bugs with this program. The program also erroneously keeps linking my music to artists who I can't seem to remove from their metadata despite holding the US Copyright for my music. Of course there's an AI customer service bot you can try to chat with. It's not helpful. There's an encyclopedia for troubleshooting but it's also not organized or helpful. Of course you can subscribe to some higher level service, but why would I want to when I can't even get the introductory model to work. I can't get Apple music to link to it either. It even throws a 403 error blocking me sometimes. Wasted hours of time on this and I'm afraid that I'm far from done wasting time on it because I have no meaningful choice. Spotify has made this choice for us and now we have to suffer more AI and more bad programming.

After I learned that the lyrics provided for some songs I listen to on Spotify were provided by Musixmatch, I searched for the app and got to know that I could be a part of the team that provides the lyrics. I got excited about it. I highly recommend it for music enthusiasts who love helping out the community.

It's genuinely a terrible website. Every time I try to go in and transcribe lyrics, etc, it either tells me my ip is blocked and wont let me in, or it logs me out and when i try to log in again, it wont let me. I've seen a lot of other people have similar problems, and it's really annoying.

Please help me resolve an artist profile claim issue

I’m an independent artist who recently changed my artist name from CHEWIE to Loukey. My new releases are already live under my correct Loukey artist profile on Spotify.

However, when I try to claim my Loukey profile on Musixmatch using my existing account, it says that the profile is “already claimed.”

I believe this is related to my previous CHEWIE artist profile/account. The old profile is even showing my new Loukey profile picture, so it seems that the profiles are still incorrectly associated.

I have already contacted Musixmatch Support and would really appreciate someone from the team looking into this and manually releasing the existing claim and linking the Loukey profile to my account.

I don’t want to create another account or pay for a subscription just to resolve what appears to be an incorrect artist claim. I am happy to provide Spotify links, release information, or any verification needed to prove that CHEWIE and Loukey are the same artist.

I would really appreciate your help. Thank you!

Perfect. Fast response. Usually the "help" sections cure my issues but ones that didnt, they did a top job..

Worst platform I’ve ever used. Never deleted a user account so quickly. Most inaccurate lyrics ever produced. Unmitigated morons who will be out of business soon enough.

Musixmatch is the most frustrating music related service I've ever dealt with. On top of taking weeks to put your lyrics up, transcribing my lyrics incorrectly with music from AI is utterly insulting. The lyrics do not work, nor does the UI on the website.

it's great and it helps me write lyrics for the niche music i like and is nowhere else except my head.
