Great experience purchasing new bike, kept in touch all the way through I even asked for extras adding to bike and installation's was free, definitely use again.

I purchased a Mondraker Play 26 from MTB Monster in March 2026.

Unfortunately, after only a few months of normal use, the motor assistance stopped working immediately following a battery charge. The bike powers on, connects to the app, shows no error messages and the battery is fully charged, but there is no motor assistance while riding.

What concerns me most is the warranty process. As an online customer located some distance from the retailer, I was surprised to be told that I would need to pay £75 for collection of the bike before it could be inspected for what appears to be a warranty issue. I do not recall this being made clear at the time of purchase.

In my view, customers purchasing e-bikes online should be clearly informed before purchase if they may be required to pay transportation costs when making a warranty claim.

I am currently awaiting a resolution and will update this review once the matter has been resolved.

I recently bought my bike from here and I have nothing but good things to say about this company. It was wonderful to be able to speak to individuals in the office who were friendly and informative and got back to me promptly with answers to questions.
The girls that dealt with my order were great (Fryja, Amie, Harriette & Katie from accounts 👊🏼 ) and all the extras were fitted with zero issue by the skilled people in the workshop.
I really got the feeling that this was a well organised, professional but friendly company where there are accountable individuals who really care about doing a good job.

Absolutely fantastic service, orderd online and kept up to date every step of the way, I collected the bike from the store, I wanted different grips and pedals and this was done with no bother and we're happy to do it, fantastic service

MTB Monster were super helpful from my initial enquiry to receiving my bike. Delivery was quick and the bike well packaged. Staff were more than happy to answer any questions I had etc.

The service from MTB monster was first class from ordering my bike to delivery and the accessories that came a little later communication was friendly and efficient

Bike is great ,but paid for it to be tubeless,but found the rear losing air ,when looked into it your fitter had left the centre rim tape under the new tubeless tape causing sealant to creep through the spokes ,I have stripped off all tape and cleaned and fitted fresh tape plus sealant now fine.also when paying for tubeless valves should you not fit 60mm ones for rear that has speed mag block on ,

I have purchased a few bikes from MTB Monster this year and I can't say enough how great they have been. Communication is superb, I was kept informed of bikes on order and any promise to reply on a certain date was met every time.
Any upgrades to the bike before delivery were not an issue, and they were very keen to get the rider weight to set the bike up properly before delivery.
Really impressed and I'll be back for any future bikes I'm sure.

I've spent many an hour in MTB Monster trying bikes, asking questions about bikes and sitting on bikes. During this time the staff have been more than helpful. And when I FINALLY made up my mind, they asked me the question; am I sure? No hard sell here. They want to sell you the bike you want. Paul, Anna & the team have all been brilliant.

I ordered a bike that was in stock on the mtbmonster.com site and the order went through but to my disappointment the bike had actually gone out of stock.
HOWEVER - When I called and spoke to Georgia in the Customer Service team she was absolutely incredible. Hence the 5 stars - It's what goes wrong, it's how you try to fix it.
Georgia stayed on the line with me for quite a long time chatting to me about alternative bikes and what they could offer me. She was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and patient. She didn't put any pressure on me to purchase something I wasn't sure about and gave me time to research and think about my decision. I managed to find the bike I wanted originally elsewhere and actually felt bad cancelling my order. BUT customer service 10/10. Thanks for your help Georgia.

Excellent team! I had my Orbea in the basket for a while whilst shopping around. I believe it was Hannah who actually rang me and mentioned they had the best price match! Awesome customer service and great delivery too. The bike came already wrapped! Super stoked, awesome buying experience. Thank you guys! 🤘

Bought a bike through these guys, was a great experience throughout. Had a minor issue with it but their team was awesome about getting it sorted.

I was new to the eMTB scene and found that the sales staff were very helpful and provided great advice. There is a good selection of bikes and the knowledge provided by the team was well appreciated.

Am now the happy owner of an eMTB and would highly reccomend purchasing from MTB monster.

i have now bought 2 bikes from MTB monster , i found the sales and aftercare far better than anyone i have ever dealt with .
recently required a new frame which was carried out under warranty, absolutely no issues at all - after seeing the pictures they confirmed this would be carried out under warranty , they obtained a delivery date for the new frame and we booked the bike in and they did the swap- constantly kept me in the loop and no problems what so ever -really easy people to deal with , i would highly recommend these people when your next in the market - i wont go anywhere else !!
