Excellent staff and choice. Unlike online, happy to show you the products and use their knowledge and understanding to get the right piece of kit for what I needed.

Really friendly and with a ‘Scouting Discount’, made it even better.

Grace/Stacey engaged with my family really well and was genuinely interested in talking to us. She dealt with the transaction in a very professional manner and was responsive to all our requirements.

Matt was incredibly helpful. He interacted with my children so well, had a diverse knowledge of the product range. Went out of his way to be as helpful as possible. He was very familiar with the town and was able to point me in the right direction of fulfilling our other shopping needs.

The sunglasses lady left the store with a spring in her step. It is rare these days to be able to enter a store during high season in a holiday town and be treated as an individual rather than just another KPI contributor.

I was after a wellington boot bag, could not see any on the shop floor so asked a member of staff - Matt - if they had any instock and showed him the website image, he took it upon himself to go upstairs to check if they had any, and they did, so I left with my bag 👍 top customer service, plenty of smiles, nothing was too much trouble, thank you Matt

Matt was a great help, finding some old stock for an inflatable replacement air tube! Took the time to listen and find the stock for us.

I got it wrong so I'll end up have to exchanging but that's all me!

Everything was displayed clearly and nicely. Assistant Nick was very pleasant and accommodating - allowing me to try on two pairs of walking shoes to see which was best, giving helpful advice to help me decide.

Purchased a Gazebo for an outdoor event and was concerned that it was not going to arrive at the store in time. Nick at the Newquay store was very helpful and promised to ring me as soon as it arrived, which he did. Very helpful, great customer service.

Matt made it great. I bought a pair of walking boots (Peter Storm) after going for a flat short walk (4300 steps) the mouldings started to rub my toe. When I checked them the moulding was very poor on right foot. Took them back and Matt agreed and recommended I try Merrills. WOW just WOW how comfy are they. Like walking hard in Slippers. Thank you to Matts knowledge and patience ( I tried about 10 pairs which he had to keep going upstairs for) and finally chose the ones I have. He was an assett to Millets in Newquay. Cheers Matt

We were allowed plenty of time to investigate the waterproof jackets. Matt was extremely helpful when I asked him questions about "jackets with zips from the bottom and the top!", "what 3000 in waterproof terms meant" and several others. Extremely good service!
