I accidentally took a Black’s return to Millets in Chippenham, talk about feeling foolish.
They were preparing to close but a lady called Vicki said ‘wait, I might be able to help’
Dropping what she was doing she spent time processing my return because although they are separate companies, currently Blacks is owned by the same group.
Vicki did all of this with a smile, never once pointing out my mistake, and saved me a wasted journey. I was very impressed and in the future, if I have a similar requirement, it’s Millets I’d go to. What a fantastic bit of customer service in today’s modern World where good service is a forgotten rumour. Thank you Vicki and thank you Millets 👍

Vicki was very helpful finding walking boots that fitted well. She knew the products and their fitting style ie arch support, heel protection, width for different brands. Advice was great and I came away with good fitting boots.
I like being able to call direct to the store and speak to a member of staff who's actually there to check stock before driving in. Always helpful on the phone. They've always put items aside for a quick pick up.

We came into Millets to buy some camping chairs and received amazing customer service from Doug who told us he had worked for the company for over 60 years.

Retail Assistant Doug provided excellent service and was very helpful. There was a great range of products to choose from. Please make sure that this valuable store remains open.

Very knowledgeable about the trainers ( I was looking for a pair of waterproof walking trainers )and she couldn’t have been more helpful.Also very knowledgeable about caring for the trainers and keeping them waterproof for as long as possible. I would always come back to
Millets if I knew she was in the shop.

Excellent store. Was greeted by a friendly member of staff who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about hiking equipment. Great to have a local store that stocks everything you need with so many wonderful hikes in the area.

Mark at Millets Chippenham was great - I was purchasing a waist bag and I wanted a ladies top which he ordered online for me to come to my house. Excellent customer service could not fault him - happy disposition and great communicator - first class.

Whenever I need something to do with being outdoors or camping I head to Millets in Chippenham, even though I live a 30 mins drive away! Doug, as always was ready to offer help and advice from his extensive experience and knowledge. I love all that this shop offers and will no doubt return again often because I prefer it to other similar shops or larger stores.

D of E trip. Excellent advice and information offered by Doug, which I would not of been able to do online.

I was greeted by Doug today and he served me my goods. He was a very helpful chatty man, advising me on the offers in the store, he said he has worked in this store for 43 years! I couldn't believe his commitment. What a lovely man! Miletts had everything that i needed today.

The staff were very friendly and helped me with exactly what I needed. I was assisted by an elderly gentleman who had so much knowledge of what stock would be online and helped me weigh up the pros and cons of each product. As I was buying a camping stove, he was very knowledgeable and emphasized the safest option for my situation which I really appreciated and gave me the best tips on fuel consumption!

Doug was very helpful. He greeted me with a smile and knew exactly what I was looking for. He was smiley and cheerful and chatty and is a credit to the store. Long may he continue there 😁

I had a great experience at Milletts today, talking to Doug who was extremely friendly and helpful, I had a good chat with him about his long service with Milletts, we shook hands when I left. Great man and service 👏
