I had a very positive experience with Medical Travel Shield Insurance. The telephone advice I received was clear, helpful, and made the whole process straightforward. The cover itself was comprehensive yet still very affordable, which gave me real peace of mind when planning my trip.

A special mention to the TEC representative, who was both knowledgeable and reassuring throughout. They took the time to answer my questions thoroughly and made sure I fully understood my options. Overall, excellent service and great value—I would happily recommend them to others.

All good, thank the lord I didn’t have to use it. But, all the same, gave me peace of mind knowing that if the unthinkable happened, I know that everything would have been taken care of. Definitely would buy again.

Conundrum...
How can one rate an insurance policy?
Unless one makes a claim, it is difficult to assess.
Fortunately, I didn't have to!
So, all I can comment on is the ease of achieving cover. It wasn't entirely straightforward. Since my cover required more than one destination... and the website didn't offer that option. I telephoned the information line to see if i needed to get two separate policies. I was informed that it wouldn't be necessary for the two destinations that I required. (Just send a covering email to confirm the places and dates). Since I had used their services recently, I was given a discount code to use. All the electronic confirmation of cover came through very promptly.

Had to go back to get some corrective treatment done in Turkey. Customer service were always quick to respond to my questions and paid out with speed after my return.

Issue with the policy wording - needed to be corrected - despite two emails of urgency sent to the advertised email address I did not have a response. This could have made the policy invalid and potentially issues with you paying out.

Very bad service.

We had to change our policy from 1 policy too 2 no problem and then linked us together very professional would highly recommend them
