My van had a recall a time slot was…
My van had a recall a time slot was arranged and I was advised would take approximately 15 minutes .I did verify this upon arrival. over 1 HR later whilst sitting waiting for what I thought was a quick job I asked why it was taking so long they then advised there was another recall that was being delt with at the same time .I appreciate this but as only sitting 4 foot away no one had the decency to make me aware ,I was just left sitting there wandering what's going on , not entirely sure this passes for great customer service a simply word keeping me updated to date so perhaps make arrangements to leave it longer and return to work but nothing ende up waiting 1hr 45 minutes without any form of apology or consideration for any lack of communication and now on there response to review they indicate they did update me. sorry your staff are lying to you if this is what there telling you they never approached me at all untill I asked how much longer

I recently purchased a used Audi e tron from Martins of Winchester, and I must say the entire experience was excellent. Mr. Nick Anderton handled the deal very professionally and efficiently from start to finish.
He explained everything thoroughly, including the tyre protection cover and the 3 year extended warranty, without putting any pressure on me to purchase them. Although the packages were very attractive and worthwhile, I decided not to go ahead as I plan to change the vehicle before then.
What really impressed me was Nick’s soft spoken nature, professionalism, and the way he interacted with me throughout the process. He made the whole experience smooth and comfortable.
He is truly an asset to the company, and I wish him all the very best for the future.

6 Months of Deception: Misleading legal info while my family has no car
Avoid Martins Group at all costs. My car (HN18 MWL) has been a prisoner at their Reading branch for 6 months. During this time, I have been paying Insurance, Road Tax, and MOT for a vehicle I cannot use. My family and I have been left stranded, and every time I went to speak with them in person, nobody cared. It was only when I started making noise on social media that they suddenly "woke up." This is not a game; this is our lives.
THE LEGAL DECEPTION:
Martins Group is systematically misleading customers. In their public responses and on their website (Sections 1.1 and 27.1.1), they claim to be accredited with The Motor Ombudsman. This is a LIE. The Ombudsman (Case Ref: 00311730) confirmed in writing they are NOT members.
Furthermore, their "Complaints Procedure" points customers to the Financial Ombudsman Service to look professional, yet they fail to provide any real solution or a courtesy car while they admit the WRONG PARTS WERE SUPPLIED TWICE.
They offer "transparency" on paper but deliver incompetence and deception in reality. I am done waiting. Small Claims Court filing is happening this Friday. If you value your money and your family's mobility, stay away.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and fully understand your frustration regarding the length of time your vehicle has been off the road.
To clarify the situation, the ongoing delay relates to an incorrect wiring loom supplied by Renault. This part was originally purchased independently and, when the vehicle was later booked in with us, our technical team worked to complete the installation. Unfortunately, it became clear during this process that the supplied part was incorrect for your specific vehicle. Renault confirmed this and advised a replacement, which was unfortunately on back-order.
When the replacement part arrived, it was again found to be incorrect. We have since escalated the matter directly with Renault via their technical hotline, and they are currently investigating this as a priority to find a permanent solution.
Regarding your comments on our accreditations, we would like to clarify that Martins Group is indeed accredited with The Motor Ombudsman and remains fully committed to their code of practice and fair, transparent dispute resolution for all our customers.
We appreciate how incredibly inconvenient this situation is for you and your family. Please be assured we are continuing to push Renault for a resolution as quickly as possible. Thank you for your continued patience.
