I recently purchased a Yamaha G2 Grand after visiting Mark's Oldham showroom. As well as an incredible selection of U1 and U3 Uprights, I was very surprised at the number of Grand's on display, 10+ Pianos as I recall.
I had looked at some Pianos online and I was blown away by the quality of the Pianos on display at MGP, I actually had to look at serial numbers to believe that some of these pianos were not new.

I was able to compare a number of Pianos before making my selection, this wasn't in any way rushed and the team at MGP will bend over backwards to accommodate you.
In short I ended up with an amazing Piano that looks and sounds fantastic, in fact it's hard convincing the people who've seen it that it isn't a brand new 2015 Piano.
Delivery was a breeze and the only hitch was that I was out of milk for the brew's.
I paid a modest premium for some steps that were involved but the guys who delivered the beast were spot on and made easy work of it.

I recently purchased a stunning Yamaha U3 (X model) from Mark Goodwin's which has just had its 1st tuning. Having only ever owned digital Yamaha pianos this was my 1st acoustic one and the best I have had. When I 1st went to the showroom I was unsure what I wanted but after 2 visits and a few hours trying out the many different tones I found my new one. The team at Mark Goodwin's are very friendly, will answer all your questions, give you quick replies and allow you to take your time without forcing a sale.
The whole process was very quick, easy and stress free. Both the piano movers and tuner are exceptional as was the whole customer experience. My piano still looks brand new and the quality is outstanding.

It's really worth to wait several months for my YAMAHA WHITE U3. Very good quality with reasonable price. I LOVE IT.

We first found out about Mark Goodwin Pianos from an internet forum link to their You Tube videos & to be honest, the claims from the owner, Mark sounded too good to be true but not so.

We visited their Oldham showroom which had a decent selection of pre owned Yamaha's of different ages, sizes and tones, all of which were immaculate. We were well advised by David & spent over 2 hours playing & narrowing down our selection to the Yamaha U3 which we have purchased.

Delivery was quick & well organised, communication was good (by email & text) & we only paid on delivery................ all in all a very good & and pleasant experience.

If you are looking for a quality piano without the new cost, you really need to look at the videos on You Tube, visit the showroom and (from our experience) believe the promises.

We bought our Yamaha U3 from Mark from their New Malden show room. Annie, Mark’s London representative, was very helpful and let us take our time in choosing the right piano. The piano is really good quality and delivery was really prompt too. The whole experience was smoothing and very professional! They offer free 1st tuning so any teething issues cane be addressed as well. Overall very positive experience and highly recommend them.

I love my Yamaha U3 piano! After making do with an electric stage piano for a few years I decided to invest in the real thing, and it sounds incredible. It is such a pleasure to play, it has clearly been refurbished to a very high standard and aesthetically it looks brand new. My Dad came to visit after the piano had been delivered as he wanted to ‘have a quick go’, and he spent a solid three hours playing. I was able to spend about 2 hours in the showroom and was left to try as many of the pianos I liked, which I preferred as I don’t like to play with an audience. Laura was very helpful and answered my many questions, and even played a piece for me when I was at the stage of deciding between two. There was no pressure at all to buy, it was all very relaxed. The piano was delivered within two weeks – great service.

I decided to upgrade my piano and I trawled the internet to research the type of piano I wanted. I found Mark Goodwin's website with a fantastic page all about the Yamaha pianos and the best years to buy for quality etc. Because of this really helpful info I decided to buy one from him. I could not be happier. I have the most amazing piano - it sounds fantastic! Annie in London was incredibly helpful and the whole process from start to finish was fantastic. I cannot rate Mark and Julie and Annie highly enough. I hope to buy a grand piano in a few years time and I will be going back to Mark for this. From start to finish this was the best experience I have had purchasing online. The piano is in pristine condition, the delivery super quick and all staff very friendly. Would highly recommend. I didn't even need to go to a shop to try out as the online sound was sufficient. So happy thank you!

Recently bought a piano from Mark Goodwin's New Malden branch. Wonderful service throughout. Annie (Mark's London supremo) was extremely helpful, showing us a wide range of pianos and patiently enduring the little people who were trying them all out at the same time! She made the effort to find out exactly what our needs were and recommend accordingly, rather than just trying to sell us the most expensive piano. We ordered a U1 which was delivered promptly and on the day the delivery men told us a time and turned up on the dot, delivered it safely with no mess or trouble. Excellent company.

I bought a secondhand piano in the recent Summer Sale. Unfortunately I was unable to visit the showroom while the sale was on so had to take a chance and buy the piano unseen. The delivery guys were great and able to work around my shifts and I was delighted when my U1 came to its new home.
My regular piano tuner did recommend Mark so I had few reservations about buying unseen and now he has checked over the piano and tuned it he was absolutely right. A beautiful sounding and looking piano at a fantastic price with excellent service to match. I couldn't be happier.

I was very impressed by the very warm, honest, family business experience when meeting Marks wife Julie. I fully recommend Mark Goodwin Pianos following our purchase of a superb reconditioned Yamaha piano. Our daughter was encouraged to play all of the pianos in the showroom and we felt under no pressure to buy. The condition of all the used pianos was superb and having chosen one that sounded and felt correct the delivery was very quick and very professional.

I'd put off buying myself a piano for years, instead using an old one that a friend had given to me. The worry I had was lost the second I found Mark, the show room was lovely, and everyone was unbelievably friendly. Obviously the piano was also better than new with the added silencing kit. Highly recommend.

Having decided to buy a grand piano, and finding a nice yamaha C1 local to me, you'd think it would be easy to simply do a deal, but no such luck. After weeks of frustration with the world's most dopey piano dealer I contacted Mark's team who responded in a couple of hours. They had the exact same piano, cheaper and immediately available, and we did a deal within 24 hours. It couldn't have been easier, more friendly and relaxed. The instrument was in my house exactly a week later courtesy of expert piano delivery guys, and I am one happy man!

What a fantastic family run company to buy from! A colleague of mine highly recommended seeing the superb pianos Mark had in his showroom, as they had bought one from him last April. We purchased a beautiful 1985 Yamaha U3 from Mark Goodwin last week, and I can honestly say the service was 'spot on' right from the start. The range of pianos on offer is probably the best you would find anywhere, and all are in exceptionally reburbished condition and play beautifully. It really was a difficult decision deciding on our eventual choice. Well done to Mark and everyone at Mark Goodwin Pianos. I will most definately recommend to anyone who wants a lovely piano and at a competitive price too.

I can't praise Mark Goodwin Pianos highly enough. From the first email communication to the final delivery, everything has been very professional, quick and of top quality. I was able to arrange a showroom visit exactly when I wanted (on a public holiday), and was given freedom to play all the pianos for as long as I wanted - and got a cup of tea thrown in! The U3 I selected was fitted with a silencing kit, which I didn't want, but they agreed to remove it. All the information given, and the purchase process, was simple and easy to understand, and the additional info on the website was extremely useful. Even with the removal of the silencing kit the delivery was scheduled within 2 weeks, and the deliverers even agreed to come at 7.30am as I had a family funeral that day. The delivery was quick and smooth, expertly negotiating the narrow staircase. The piano itself is exceptional, I am absolutely delighted. Having been saving for a long time to make this purchase, I wanted to make sure it was perfect - I could not have hoped for better. I have already recommended the company to others, and will mot hesitate to do so again.
