Thank you for dispatching the missing items. They were perfectly packaged. Thank you for taking the trouble to sort out what I will put down to “teething problems” and good luck with the venture going forward. My confidence has been restored so I will be back next month and resume my normal monthly purchase. It’s also good to see a firm reading Trust Pilot feedback too

Best butchers meat always fresh tasty and great value for money.

Ordered from Malpass advertising as a traditional family butchers on the south coast. Order arrived from somewhere in the North East - investigation shows it comes from The fat Butcher, Seaton Delaval, a small unit in a semi derelict area. Check post Code and phone number as The Fat Butchers Website says it was founded by 'Mark' which offers the same packages as Malpass. However the Fat Butchers seems to be part of DJ Foods North East Limited. The order arrived a day late - not because it was in The North East - as I was at my fathers less than 30 miles away!
The cold bags in the package were warm. The advert for the meaty madness package changed sometime between order and receipt from 1kg of Sirloin and 2 kgs of Rump to 1kg of each - in the end I received no rump and 2 kgs of Sirloin. Instead of 2kgs of Malpass Sausages I received 3 x454g packs of Geordie Bangers, made by The Geordie Meat Company - same directors as DJ foods North east - good sausages but 1.36Kg instead of 2 Kgs - and The labelling does not comply with The Food Standard Agency requirements as all it has is a use by date, no further traceability.
It has taken 2 weeks to get a resolution with whoever the company is, certainly not Malpass. I was passed from one agent to another and had to go through the whole saga and email chain again. I later found out when they called me that the 2 agents were sitting next to each other!!! I asked on the call about what was going on as i thought I was buying from Malpass, she said she was new and would have to get someone to call me. Before anyone called they gave a partial refund!
Trustpilot is this site -would I trust Malpass or whoever they are - No - seems to be a very elaborate smoke and mirrors act which no doubt will be brought out in the open sooner or later!

Very poor customer service - meat arrived in a broken box and half of the meat missing - unable to get any help from Malpass for over a week - won’t use them again

Ordered early monday morning expecting a thursday delivery as stated as I had guests coming for dinner friday. Nothing arrived and no messages as to delay. Finally turned up on saturday afternoon ice packs were warm and the chicken had a split bag which had spilt all the juices over all the other packages and made box all soggy. Cumberland sausage were sage and black pepper flavour which i did not order and unlikely to eat. This is second time i have used delivery service and both times disappointed so won't use again. Usually buy in store and think this better option.

Some of the meat was past it’s use by date when it arrived sent an email about it but never got an acknowledgment

Unfortunately my Malpass meat box order of £75 was more than disappointing.

The meat arrived not from Malpass in Sussex, but from another provider in the North East of England. What I assume was at one time, a single frozen ice block was a bag of warm water. The meat was warm, spoiled and inedible.

Brilliant service arrived as per estimated time. Fresh produce and very tasty.

Our meat was tender and tasty. So happy with our order.

Absolutely disgusting service 3 days late with delivery and arrived with items missing,won't be buying again,blamed updating system and offered a credit note which i refused and requested a refund for the item missing

Ignored my message of complaint when I received scraps and bones instead of lamb cutlets.
