This company makes it impossible to cancel their "service". They are the very WORST company you could possibly deal with. In my opinion, they are absolutely useless. Their "service" is completely non existent. I believe that the way that they do business is the nearest thing to fraudulent trading that you will encounter anywhere.

Doubled their service pricing and put the standard features only in the high end subscription. 1 month after I was forced to pay for a full year of the high subscription they come out with a 1/2 price option for what I need / use. They refuse to work with me to reduce the subscription to the basic plan or refund or credit my account in any way. Shady way of doing business....locking in customers at extreme pricing right before reducing the cost (which they obviously came up with the more economical plan due to loosing customers with their insane pricing hikes!!!

Used to have a GoToMyPC account and cancelled in March following shocking rate increase. Contacted today to try and obtain copies of some receipts for accounting purposes - forget it!!!! The woman I spoke with clearly couldn't care less.

email I just sent to them trying to pathetically coax me back with a measily 20% discount lols This is a bit late and there is no way in hell I would take this offer or use your services in future. Why? Because the bill got more and more expensive over time, I used your services for three to four years and without any explanation or better value added services the price skyrocketed to more than four times what I paid for the first year. I asked and you failed to explain why or even reply to the emails. Lastly, when I had had enough I cancelled my sub six months ahead of the next billing date and you cut my access completely with 6 months of pre paid service left on my account and again failed to respond to any emails asking what the heck was going on.
I will be giving bad feedback on google and any other platform I can as a result of you reminding me about this in sending me this email… have you not heard of teamviewer? Does a better job for FREE good luck
Terrible Company and service, Ridiculous Price Hikes!!!!!
I am a longtime Logmein user for Prob 15 years. Started off as a free account. I kept on adding more computers till one day they stopped all access and forced me to pay to continue using their service. I loved the service and decided to ignore their forcing me into payment, and just paid for the service.
Over the year they VERY SLOWLY started doubling and tripling the subscription cost. This year they just changed the account type and price from $950+ LogMeIn Central - Basic 100 yearly subscription TO $1,800+ LogMeIn Central Base 100 yearly subscription.
Changing the subscription type from Logmein Central Basic To Base and charging me double without notifying ????????????
I need to call them every single year to get my account back to the Subscription type that I need and then go back and forth to get the price back to something that makes sense.
This year I upgraded to a super expensive subscription which also gives licensing for Kaspersky Anti-virus. Midterm of our current subscription I get an email that support for Kaspersky will stop in September which means that I got Kaspersky for half of the year that I paid for.. The real reason they had Kaspersky was to get you hooked with a subscription then force you into using their new logmein antivirus.
BOTTOM LINE,,,,,DON'T SIGN UP/and get hooked WITH LOGMEIN except if you want to get robbed. Your price will go up 100)%+ yearly!!!!!!

I would give 0 stars if possible. Ran the install on my MacBook Pro+Mojave and that's the last thing my laptop would do. Support Tech "Matt" said those infamous words, "there is no way our software would do that!"

DISGRACEFUL COMPANY. Will keep taking monthly payments and increase the price massively WITHOUT letting you know. Impossible to speak to them properly about this. Reported them as fraud on my card and to the ombudsman.
Buyer Beware!
Buyer Beware!! I have been a customer since 2015 and my rates have increased to over 5x my original cost with no change in service. Lately, I've had more technical issues and decided to try other providers. To my surprise the competitors are much better and cheaper.
When I cancelled my annual Logmein contract, I was told my account would remain in effect the remaining 9 months of my contract - with no refunds or pro-ration offered. This is robbery - and when a company has no faith in their product, they resort to fine print. Please beware of using this product.
800% cost increase in 7 years
800% cost increase in 7 years. 8 year user of Logmein. Finally got too expensive to keep. Figured I would try Remote PC fully expecting to get an inferior product since it was 25% the cost. To my surprise it works so much better. Tried canceling Logmein midway through the year and they would not prorate a refund. Hopefully they will die a slow death.
Loyal customer to a disloyal company
I have been a loyal customer for over 12 years. It started out for free, then we had to start paying, no problem we paid. But each renewal, the prices increased. In 2016, I paid $554 USD, by 2019 and for the exact same Logmein Pro service, I am being charged $3499.99. If they want to gouge their customers so that they can become a billion dollar earner company, they can do it without the customers that got them this far. I'm out!

Même s'il est gratuit, vous ne devez pas l'essayer. Quand vous voulez supprimer votre compte, c'est très compliqué et long. Vous devez envoyer un mail au custumer et seulement en anglais, et il vous demande votre email, votre nom, votre produit. C'est une entreprise de nouvelle technologie mais c'est comme si c'était de l'analogique. Un peu plus et on communiquerai par pigeon voyageur car même si vous avez réussi leur parcours du combattant pour supprimer votre compte, ils ont encore besoin de 30 jours pour le faire !!! EN PLUS, même si vos avez désinstallé, vous ne pourrez JAMAIS supprimer leur icône de votre barre de menu. Moi depuis 7 ans et malgré des recherches même avec le terminal, je n'arrive pas à le supprimer et je dois le garder sur la barre de menu. Pas différent d'un virus. Je n'ai pls aucune confiance dans la société.

I just got our annual renewal notice, you price is increasing to €5039.88 it read, FYI logmein its not, i got a quote from teamviewer for €1100 for the exact same service so goodbye. How the hell can you justify such a price increase (last year was €2040 in total). Its a crazy increase with zero explanation other than you dont need to do anything we'll continue to bill you as normal. Really annoyed by the attitude of this company, there are alternatives.

Shocking to say the least
Shocking to say the least. Been a customer for a number of years gotomyPC. Increased charges by 300% without informing me. When I rang the customer service number I got a recorded bullsh** message about prices increasing to enhance customer service. What service? They took away the cancel button in billing, and having listened to the message and selecting option 9 to speak with someone I was cut off. Sent email, but having looked at other reviews, I will not hold my breath for a reply. Splash top all the way from now on.
Beware of their cloud file storage…
Beware of their cloud file storage service. They have been unable to solve a technical problem with my files since last November and its April now! They keep telling me to be patient. Case#09100568. The technical support is poor.
Catastrophic price rises
We have been with LogMeIn for over 5 years now, and ran over 450 computers with them. don't get me wrong we all expect price increase but with no warning auto renewing with an increase from £1900 to £5500 is not a viable option. and we were lucky to catch it early and get our money back or this is a potentially business changing amount for us as a small company.
If their version of economics makes sense then sign up, otherwise find a better option

I have used LogMeIn for 10+1 Years, Over the years each year the renewal has increased, i have accepted this as i would excpect prices to increase over time.
However this year the cost of the renewal over doubled! And my Bill was just under £8000!
Trying to speak to the customer services staff they were prepared to do nothing. Appalling service to a once loyal customer.

I used GoToMyPC for many years. Cost £7.99/month incl. VAT. Until Jan 2019 that is when the price hiked to £63/month incl. VAT. Took this up with LogMeIn. New pricing policy - we sent you an email .... No they did not. If they had I would have cancelled immediately. I cancelled the account there and then and asked if there was any likelihood of a refund. No chance - my usage is 'too heavy' - I'm logged in 4 hours a day for approx 6 days a month. I'm insulted to be treated this way.
