Great technical expertise. Professional. Max is excellent - patient, reliable and knowledgeable.

I made this order on 22 November 2024 but it appears that the seller did not post the item out. In spite of confirmation of the order, there was no tracking number. Unsure how to proceed.

I hope I'm not jinxing my Loftomattic loft ladder by writing this review.

I installed my ladder in June 2019 to replace a heavy metal concertina ladder. It was a fairly straightforward install, and I'm only a diyer.
Since then, we've used the ladder various times a day, since our attic is a gym and office space, and it has been virtually problem free.
One small problem I had was that it became noisy on opening and closing and would stop about 4 steps from the top, requiring me to press the remote again. I could see that the small plastic stops on the side of those steps needed lubrication. This solved the problem.
Friends and family who have seen the ladder have always been impressed by it's functionality and how smoothly and neatly it opens and closes. So, going on my own experience, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this product.

Based on the reviews we had read, we enquired about the installation of a remote control loft ladder. We waited weeks for a reply but eventually Max contacted us and made an appt. We received a quote and agreed the price. Again we waited weeks for news about fitting. Today, Duncan was meant to be arriving to fit the new ladder. We had contacted him during the week, asking for confirmation of the work to be carried out. No response. Today we telephoned him, only to be told that the ladders hadn't even been constructed. He said he'd sent an email to let us know. No such email has been received. Enough is enough!
Since writing this review, to their credit both Max and Duncan have apologised for the poor service we received, proving that they are invested in the company and are determined to ensure that their customers enjoy a positive experience from Loftomattic.

Great product and service! Highly recommended

Loftomatic will be pleased that this is our last review. On the 23rd oct we finally removed the ladders and replaced with basic loft ladders (not ideal when you are in your seventies but more reliable) .they did offer to visit to try to fix them but we past the point where every morning wondering if they were going to work. We gave one star as there is not an option for a zero

Had a problem with lift after 4 years of use, Max came out to fix issue. New model was available and I decided to go for that, considerably quieter action.

Please take few minutes and read this review as my save you lot of stress and money .
We bought one of this so called "leader" and we were very please once fitted as looks nice as on the video from Loftomattic website . Unfortunately after short period of time leader start to developing some kind of issue and wont fold . Just stopping randomly when retracted so we were unable to fold completely and close the loft ending with leader unfolded all the time in the living room . Not the best I would say . Well contacted customer service .I mean I tried to contact to get some aftersales help but was no response . Finally after so many voice mails manage to get some response on what’s up massager . Representative so called "customer service asked for picture or video and sent them obviously was no response after week what so ever . Surpisiley after long period of the time and numerous messages got response !!! what a achievement for Loftomattic truly well done ! Guy said that they may send engineer to look on the issue .They provided ETA for engineer to come , needless to say no one came o the scheduled date and any date after so we contacted them again obviously no response and finally yes yes we had response and new ETA . This time engineer came . After spending few hours with so attempt to fix he said that he can’t fix it ! .Hah even my wife had a good lough as this was rather expected . I mean they customer service can be matched only by the quality of engineers no doubt here . So finally he give up and decide to take my ladder to workshop . I bet must be somewhere in the garage on in the garden to much quality of the rest this company departments . Jus to give you some dates we have issues since JUL and we had "engineer" after 1st of August till today no ladder no contact . I wrote them message two weeks ago and this time was response wit recorded voice massage to saying yea I will let engineer !! Since this no contact no information . So now we don’t have any information and even we dont have product we bought .
I would say this is great achievement by "Loftomattic" as not many companies in the UK can achieve this level of performance no doubt here .
Every single company will send you replacement for faulty item or when sending engineer with van spare ladder or some parts to fit and repair / replace on site this will be common practice and common sense but don’t expect this from this company . They are 1st to take your money but last to give any help or support .Don’t look as they have good price better to spend a bit more but use reputable sellers who won’t let you down .
Apology for long review but this company is truly shocking they sent new benchmark as trash company . I would say please take my apology to anyone who may come to this revive on other website or forums as I try to reach as many people / construction companies as possible to ensure they are aware how this company working

Excellent support given by Max . His instructions were clear and his patience exemplary. I really appreciated the assistance given and very pleased with the outcome.

Perfect product, and no hassle on installation at all.

Installation instructions could be printed a little larger and clearer to understand.
No instructions with the additional remote control for pairing it with the ladder, otherwise very pleased with the finished project.
Would recommend.

We had purchased the loft ladder over 2 years ago and had some working issues. Max contacted us and then mick came on Friday to check it all for us and make sure it was all set up right. This was all sorted in 5 days . Very pleased with their service

I have a Loftomattic which worked fine until one of the gears disintegrated. The ladder is within its 2 year Warranty but my fitter has had problems contacting the company. They have since promised to contact me to come and inspect the ladder but nothing so far. Obviously they expect an 81 year old to use a step ladder to access his loft until they deem it necessary to honour their warranty. Not happy. The breakdown occurred on 28th August and now 12th September and waiting. …….,,

We had our electric loft ladder installed in March'24.
The best decision we have ever made, to see the ladder come down at the press of a button on the remote control is amazing.
You only really know how good a company is if you have to use their customer service should a problem arise.
Well we did have a problem in June and Loftamatic were quick to send Michael out to rectify it, which he did, but the same problem arose again.
Michael came out again and said the ladder just needed an adjustment to it, but as I had now lost confidence in it, Michael changed the ladder for a complete new one.
Up to now, all working perfectly well and operating smoothly.
Michael could not do enough for us and was very helpful, he knows his stuff, thank you Michael.
I demonstrated the ladder to family when they came to visit and they were very impressed.
I would not hesistate in recommending Loftamatic.

Contacted customer services this morning as the ladder wouldn't close completely. Max answered and immediately offered to visit to look at the ladder even though it was out of guarantee. I sent him a video of the unit on WhatsApp and he replied with a help video which fixed the issue! I am extremely impressed with this company and its customer service - thank you Max and Loftomattic!

Duncan @ neon installs, installed 2 loftomatic ladders for me over 2 days! (2 loft spaces) After contacting another company who quoted me double what I paid.. Duncan was polite, friendly, respectful of my home & TIDY! Amazing job & I am so pleased to have easier access to my loft space! *****

This is the 3rd one I’ve bought the other two have broken with no refund offered but I need one for a disabled client so I’m stuck with that absolute joke of a company.

Don’t buy one they go wrong often and when they do the after care is the worst you will ever come across.

The electric loft ladder is an amazing product.
The description for ordering the correct size and the required openings were easy to follow.
The DIY fitting instructions were great and made even easier by having a step by step video showing all you need to know.
The after sales service was top notch too, helping me program the remote control.
Over all a fantastic product that I will be recommending to all my future clients.
