We've been Little Justice Leader subscribers for several years - probably right around the time they started. We absolutely love it. Our family has had so many great conversations, ideas, and actions come from our work with LJL boxes. This year we're homeschooling our 4 kids, and it's been so great to use the boxes as a jumping off point to lots of other great things to explore.

The books, resources, and lesson plans proved by Little Justice Leaders are amazing! The books encompass a wide range of social justice topics and are great for reading aloud to my class and open up wonderful discussions guided by the lesson ideas. They are then a wonderful resource for my classroom library. The art projects that are included in the boxes help continue the discussions and learning across the curriculum.

We have been with Little Justice Leaders since the beginning, and I could not be happier! I have used the boxes in my classrooms, for my Girl Scout Troop and for both of my girls! Little Justice Leaders has created an amazing community of folks to help everyone inspire young people to be the change in their homes, schools and communities. It’s the highlight of our month!

I cannot say enough positive things about the Little Justice Leader boxes. The boxes are always so relevant and engaging. They are designed in collaboration with educators and leaders doing the work of social justice. To start, each box comes with a beautiful book to use with students. Each book is intentionally picked out with a lesson plan to accompany it for how to implement the story in the classroom. The boxes would be amazing even if they just contained the books, but they also come with so many more wonderful resources: art projects, organizations to support, activities, discussion guides, and more. Little Justice Leaders is an amazing community that supports educators to continually engage in teaching students about social justice. 10/10 recommend!

I can’t say enough about how much my twins and I love receiving our Little Justice leaders box! They get so excited when they see the box on the doorstep and fight over who gets to open it. As a teacher, I also love that I get already made lesson plans to help support learning through literature!

I have been with Little Justice Leaders since it started. It has been an amazing resource for the classroom, small groups, and even for me to continue to unlearn, relearn, and learn historical events. I'm always excited to get my box in the mail to see what the topic and book are. The added materials for projects are the icing on the cake! I subscribed to the Little Justice Leader box as a first year teacher three years ago and haven’t looked back! The books included in the kits are always a hit with my students and lead to some really great discussions. The boxes come with full lesson plans and materials for fun engaging activities. I think it is so important for students to learn about history, current events, and social justice and this box makes it easy and age appropriate!

My daughter has been getting her little justice leader box for YEARS now, and she has never had a box she didn't love! She loves being a little justice leader, she is proud to be informed and aware of what is going on in our world, and this box has encouraged her to remain passionate about social justice, equality, and caring for our earth! We LOVE it!

I was so excited to discover Shelby's Little Justice Leaders boxes as I was about to begin teaching a new class called Human Rights. Her materials include top-quality books, lesson ideas, supplies, and extras like buttons, stickers, and posters. Every month I love opening the boxes and I can use them right out of the box with my students. She provides great discussion questions, tips on addressing difficult subjects, and even information on other resources and agencies that area also fighting for social justice. These materials provide active ways for teachers and parents to engage young people in discussions that are often overlooked or avoided in traditional classrooms. I treasure every resource I get as I know that Shelby and those she has collaborated with each month took time and heart to make each piece useful for education in an interesting and engaging way. Best subscription box for teachers ever. Best materials I have ever received for my classroom!
