I recently received a kit and love it! My son is obsessed with And Tango Makes Three. It is a heart warming story with so much relevance to equality today. Also, all the extra resources was very helpful and I am using within my mental health practice. 🙂

I am in love with Little Justice Leaders. They sent me a great bundle for Indigenous people education and it was such high quality. Little Justice Leaders is a wonderful org and fantastic resource for teachers and their students. Not only do they supply expertly curated boxes each month for you based on a current relevant issue or idea, but they also provide wonderful recs on their Instagram site, professional development training, and are very responsive to both their paid costumers and their followers. With regards to their boxes, each one I have received has been full of helpful tips, lessons plans, project ideas, posters, stickers, and a very special book. My students are very responsive to the material and it would even be a great resource for a well-versed ABAR educator or to someone just starting to dip their toes in.

TLDR: Excellent, well-curated resource from a well-managed organization that is community centered.

It is a great resource for children , young adults , and adults. The book easy to comprehend and explain social justice issues we experience in the community. I would recommend it to anyone.

As a mom to an incredibly curious three year old with many questions— LJL surprised me with how well thought out and perfectly planned the kit is. It comes with so many wonderful resources and ideas to provoke thought and inspiration to keep learning. My son really enjoys the book we read. The links provide further insight and led us to learn more information, needless to say, his eagerness to learn was met and I will absolutely be sharing with other parents.

The curated boxes are always timely, include great craft ideas, and wonderful resources. My students enjoy the diverse books we receive each month.

We absolutely LOVE our Indigenous Resistance box. As a homeschooling family we are always looking for materials that align with our values and this was it! It was comprehensive, easy to navigate and included both gorgeous paper products as well as online extension learning suggestions. Really well done.

I received my Little Justice Leaders package and I was very happy with the resources . As we learn how to do our own research, the book that Little Justice Leaders provided “ Killer Underwear Invasion!: How to Spot Fake News , Disinformation & Conspiracy Theories” was a perfect book to complement our lesson. My 5th grade students enjoyed the book !

Little Justice Leaders is an incredible program & opportunity for families, educators, librarians to diversify their bookshelves AND create meaningful dialogue about important, relevant topics. The book kit we received was perfect! Very easy to use & implement with our children's book club.

The book explains simply and concisely what racism is and has clear and student-friendly language to explain systemic racism and lived experiences. I received the Black Changemakers kit and it was absolutely beautiful. My students were so excited to use the resources as part of our Black History Month research project! We also will display the picture book and cards throughout the rest of the year too!

I received the Worker's Rights Kit and the picture book and resources are phenomenal. Not only is the picture book high quality, but the additional resources that are sent with it are so comprehensive. I love that there are tips for teachers to help navigate what could be a tricky conversation, important words to know, as well as additional places to look for more information. I can tell this kit was very thoughtfully put together with teachers in mind.

I absolutely loved the Mental Health kit I received! I really liked the book that was given to me with the kit, and it was a book I do not have in my classroom library, nor is it one that I had heard about, but I really love the way it addresses feeling blue. I also found the digital resources, and the tips for adults/caregivers really helpful. I like the language that they provided to help spark conversations with my students, and provided me with enough background so that I felt comfortable talking about some things that might be a little challenging to address. I am so grateful for Little Justice Leaders, and have also started following them on social media after this experience. Their social media account is amazing!! It is full of amazing resources, language, suggestions, and information. I am so glad I found them through this opportunity!

Little Justice Leader boxes are amazing! Shelby is very thoughtful about the boxes she creates & collaborates with many activists to help educators bring in & discuss current & relevant social justice issues. Each box comes with a beautiful book and activities. My students love doing the activities and it's heart warming to see them go back to re-read the books from the boxes. Highly recommend Little Justice Leaders for anyone who is just starting on their journey of bringing in more social justice in the classroom. I've been able to get more colleagues to think about infusing social justice into their teaching by just showing them the boxes each month!
