Having been in the motor trade 35 years the annual renewal of insurance has always been a traumatic experience. Insurers, brokers and agents come and go.
Constant b*ll s*it, endless repeats of greensleeves played on a Bontempi organ whilst being kept on hold. It got to the stage where I stayed with my last broker for 12 years because I could not be bothered with any more crap or the hassle of changing,
This year i was sat in a train station waiting for the next apology regarding delays to my 'service' to come over the tannoy when Bhav from Lifestyle phoned me and asked for a chance to quote for my business. Something in his tone actually said 'please, I would value your custom'. This is not what I have come to expect from trade insurance providers so i said OK go for it. Within half a hour I had a quote that was less than half of what I paid the previous year. Bhav made change over so simple and Rachel and Laura in admin have overcome the hurdles placed by Howden's, my previous highway robbers, with total efficiency.
Genuine thanks to all the team at Lifestyle. You have been 100% refreshing to a tired, old, sole trader.

Had josh who renews my insurance every year always does his best to get me the best quote. This year the company I went with did a ccj search and found out I had some so gave me a cancellation letter of 7 days. Josh bent over backwards to get me insured and run through hoops to get some new insurance inflate I wasn't even aware I had a ccj intill they canceled my policy he's gone over the top to get my needs met and got me reinsured with only 1 company who would accept me. Over I would rate his time and performance 110 percent thanks josh

I can't recommend Lifestyle Insurance Brokers highly enough. Sarah and Martin worked hard to find us the right fleet insurance deal in the first place, taking the time to understand our business and coming back with a great option that ticked every box. Since then, Macala has been a fantastic accounts manager — always quick to respond, nothing is ever too much trouble, and she delivers the same consistently excellent service year after year. It's a pleasure dealing with a team who genuinely look after their clients. Five stars.

They rob you!!!Hidden fees!
We were initially offered a policy for around £3400. During the following phone call, the amount increased to around £3600, and on the final call we were told the total would be around £3800 including interest. However, once we received the statement, the actual total was around £4400 and not £3800 like we have been told.

When we questioned these discrepancies and the hidden fees, we decided to cancel because the policy was not what had been explained to us. Despite being told on recorded phone calls that we could cancel within 14 days free of charge, we were still charged almost £900 for only 2 weeks. They also added commissions and fees of more than £500 even though we were clearly told cancellation would be free.

We raised all of these issues formally and provided evidence including policy documents, phone recordings and discrepancies in the amounts quoted. However, we were never given proper answers to the specific concerns raised. The complaint outcome was generic and did not address the actual issues. To make matters worse, the person handling the complaint was the same person we were complaining about, which is completely unfair and unprofessional.

At the beginning they constantly chase you and act very helpful, but once you question the charges or are unhappy with the way you are treated, the attitude changes completely. We felt disrespected, mocked and spoken to rudely instead of being helped.
I can see on the reviews we were not the only one having the same issues and i can see they get away with it.

We have been told and is recorded we can cancel within 14 days free of charge! It is recorded and we have the phone call recording i dont know how can you deny this when we even forwarded the recording!
What you say now is nothink like it happened and the documents proves this but you chose to twist and not follow your own policy!is on the phone call recording that is 3800 with the interest and the final statement was £4400!According to the initial policy was £3400 and it went up to £3800 with interest and fees! We have the policy how can you deny this! We are in touch with Ombudsman and they will establish if whatever we say is according!How you describe it sounds fair but things are not like that and we can proove this and the authorities can estanlish if this is according!If you read the reviews there are similar and few people complaining about this issue.
You failed answering to our questions when we cknfronted about the discrepancy of the amounts received.On the invoice you sent the £401 we paid is missing and you had no clear answer for this where those money gone and why they are not on thr invoice and only the £547 were stated.
Even if you say the cancellation is not free even though we have it recorded and we have to pay a comission how can be fair that the comission for a policy we had less than 2 weeks is adouble the amount we would pay monthly! The monthly payment would have been £386 and the cancellation fee which is free within 14 days according to the phone call it went up to around £900!
We paid £900 for less than 2 weeks insurance only because we have cancelled within 14 days.

Rachel dealt with our query and was really helpful and informative, rang us back as arranged and is a pleasure to deal with

Sam was so professional. She took time to learn about my insurance needs ahead of contacting me & asked about any changes needed. She came back with an excellent option & on this occasion, cheaper than last year which in itself is most unusual - well done Sam. Excellent Company to deal with , very friendly and take time to make sure you have everything covered and at the most reasonable prices possible , I felt they really cared I was happy with cover offered .

I dealt with Sim who was fantastic. He was very friendly and helpful and didn't push at all. He also gave me a follow up call when I asked.
I received a fantastic price renewing my motor trade policy. Often you have to change broker to get a competitive quote on renewal but not with Lifestyle. I can't recommend them highly enough.

★☆☆☆☆ — Extremely Poor Service

I am very disappointed with the service I received. Communication was poor from the outset, commitments were not honoured, and I felt completely unsupported when I required assistance.

The manager, Amanda, was discourteous during our telephone interaction, declined to speak with me directly, and did not return my calls despite multiple attempts to make contact. Reception staff repeatedly advised that she was “busy,” which gave the impression that my concerns were being avoided.

Payment was taken promptly; however, the refund process has now exceeded six weeks and I have yet to receive the funds. This delay is unacceptable.

I am also concerned that my documentation may have been altered in a way that resulted in the cancellation of my insurance policy.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this broker and would advise others to exercise caution.

My renewal for my motor trade policy came up in January. Due to my age, I foresaw this could be a problem. My business ethos is to pay well for quality.
The company provider were no longer interested.
Emma Roberts, accounts manager of Lifestyle,went the exta mile, and secured my policy with my previous provider.
I couldn't have asked anymore from Lifestyle.
Lifestyle have been my broker for some years, and hopefully a few more.

I would just like to say a big thankyou to Rachel Allman at Lifestyle Insurance Brokers, she has really helped us out in getting the correct cover we needed, she was prompt and professional in all her responses to our questions and she went above and beyond to secure us the correct insurance, 5 STARS !!!
