Set in the beautiful historic city of Winchester, in the shadow of the cathedral our branch in The Square first opened its doors in the early 1960's. We sell a wide selection of both new and used photographic equipment, and also offer a comprehensive range of binoculars & telescopes. Part exchange is welcomed. Services: Passport Photos, Developing & Printing, Instant Prints, Video Transfers, Sensor Cleaning, Firmware Upgrades, Data Recovery, Repairs. Meet The Team: Tony, Manager - Clocking up 38 years for LCE, has a passion for binoculars & telescopes. Ben, Assistant Manager - Has been at LCE since 2011. A passionate about landscape photographer has recently taken up street photography. Josh - Joined LCE in 2015 and loves producing excellent still life images. Alfred – Has been with LCE since 2019 and has a keen interest in both wildlife & people photography, he also enjoys shooting on film. Craig - Our newest team member, joining in February 2023 with an avid interest in macro & wildlife photography.

The customer service I received was outstanding!! I bought a lens for my son, the lens I received had developed a fault, after a quick email explaining the issue, the team sprang in to action and a replacement was found and quickly dispatched.

Great service from Tony and quality product
Needed to buy binoculars for a trip to see wild life and Puffins (hopefully!). We were served by Tony in the Winchester store who was friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. Great quality binoculars too. Would thoroughly recommend. Thanks so much Tony.
