Not the type of person to buy big purchases for myself but decided to buy a new drone, was expected to arrive on the Monday only to be delivered on the Saturday. While this is bad enough, the fact I had to call over 50 times throughout the week, and send numerous emails to no avail, the rare times I got through I got told that they can’t see my order, no trace on my order (even though I had an email from them giving me my order number). A whole lot of stress from my end and getting nowhere from staff made me feel so small. The damage was already done when I called up and got help from Hasu, who I can only praise, the only saving grace of the shit show that this experience was. They found my order and dispatched it for delivery on the Friday, which then got delayed to Saturday because of a DPD error, I reached out to cameraworld again once my package arrived to see if there was anything they could do as you could imagine over 50 calls to a company to try and get clarity whilst working full time myself, you can imagine how much time I wasted, to get offered a refund on my next day delivery… Keep your £5 CameraWorld.

Prior to my purchase I checked with the company that an SD card was the correct size for my camera ( I had been sent the wrong size by a different company)
They correctly confirmed my details and the correct size was delivered

Delivered item to wrong address and it went missing. After contacting them about issue they went silent. No response and no resolution.

Cameraworld advertises as in stock items that are out of stock. They are still happy to charge your credit card on receipt of the order rather than on the day the order is fulfilled by them and sent out. I ordered a Tenba case from them because the site stated Free UK delivery. It then added £5 when I paid with Apple Pay. The phone numbers listed on their sites are unusable going to voicemail and demanding I enter a voicemail ID which I don’t have. Emails are ignored. Online messages are never responded to. The one time I got through on the phone I felt rebuked for not knowing they were understaffed. The phone line quality was atrocious and almost incomprehensible. They seem to be a totally dysfunctional company. It’s proving nigh impossible to get a credit card refund from them.

Customer service was very poor. It would take 4 hour for someone to pick up the phone. The standard reply was we are short staffed . That’s your problem, not the customers. Also it said the lens was in stock which was untrue. I will never buy another item from you.

My experience with Cameraworld was brilliant from start to finish, very quick delivery even though there had been a slight delay by Dpd which they messaged me immediately to inform, and my camera arrived the next day as they said it would.
I'm made up with my camera and the fantastic service from these guys. I will most certainly use them again.

First time I'd attaended this event and would have found some signs for parking and where CameraWorld actually was would have been helpful.
Exhibitors area was too small. It was difficult to move around the room, especially if groups were waiting for walking tours.
The Sony walking tour host was great. Knowledgable, friendly and happy to provide lenses for you to try. Unfortunately, we only stood at one corner which happened to be where many people were waiting for the tour meet up time. I did buy a lens so it couldn't have been that bad.
In fact, I traded in a lens for the Sony with Will from CameraWorld. Will was helpful which made for a very easy transaction.
I'll be going back next year.

CameraWorld 2026
First time I attended and not sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. A very good range of items on sale from camera straps to top notch cameras and lens and all sorts of accessories in between. Also gave an opportunity to action photos of the racetrack activities.
Only criticism was lack of signage to event when arriving and for me, the walks weren't very well advertised; the booking of them and where to go on the day.

After I booked I emailed Camera World with an enquiry and got a prompt and helpful response.
The event was a great opportunity to look at new products and talking to the people on the stands about them. I also enjoyed having access to Brands to take photos of the track action.
I booked on the Canon walk. The walk times were posted on the doors to the exhibition hall but not the meeting points, so we were left having to find someone to ask.

I hate being over charged, purchased a 3 legged thing Axis pulse wrist strap in Camera world London store for £45 on the 6th October. Once home I went to check some further information on their website, same day of purchase. Not happy to find the advertised cost on Camera world for the Obsidian strap was £27. for all other colours they are £45. Amazon are also cheaper at £39 for any colour. This is not the first time I have had this issue with camera world. It will be the last, I will not purchase from this company in the future.
The product is great quality.
Wex photographic and Park Cameras, store's and website's are up to date with each other to ensure the customer always receives the latest price that they offer.

Regular updates given from ordering to delivery with a call to say some of my items were delayed. Items as ordered. Very happy with my purchase and the service received.

Poor communication when order placed - paid for next day but actually came 'next week' eventhough website said in stock.

If you are a professional and want a reliable order knowing kit is coming for a job then I would order elsewhere.

the day organised for the camera world at brands hatch was a rip off.
i went to try out a new camera as was stated in the program for the event.
however ,all you got was a camera behind a glass window to try out. not able to take out side and use in a real world environment.
extremely disappointing, as we had take the day off work and driven 3hours, 175 miles from our home to do this.
and left after 30 mins.

This is the first open day I've attended so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I arrived early with some old gear to sell and the staff were welcoming despite my error with the opening time. I returned later to be pleasantly surprised at their offer to buy the old equipment. I enjoyed numerous chats with various suppliers before venturing out to the track. Whilst motorsport photography holds limited interest the access to all parts of the track was good, offering plenty of subjects to capture. The event discounts were good so if you have anything specific to buy, it’s definitely worth attending. I didn't do any of the walks as the Nikon walk was scheduled too late for me, but those I saw were well attended with lots of lively interaction. All in all, a good day out and fantastic value for money.

Absolutely fine - ordered some third party batteries & a charger for a Canon to pick up at the Wells St branch. One part had been discontinued so was given good advice (which I took). Excellent communication throughout.

Went to the CameraWorld Live day at Brands Hatch.

Amazing day out, lots to see and do, but the highlight for me was the photo session with Sam Nash. So good.

Highly recommended.
