Navigating the Website to find what I required and placing the order was easy. The lamps were delivered within the advertised timescale. I can ask for no more,

The lamps sent do not match the ones on their website, which I’m specifically needing to match to others I already have. When I pointed this out to the company and asked for the correct lamps, they incorrectly said the lamps cast the desired light pattern. I’ve tried repeatedly to get replacements and they’ve been nothing but unhelpful. When I said I’d have no choice but to leave a bad review they said they’d inform the police! Fortunately I’m not intimidated by them. Avoid this company.
Edit - I did not become aggressive towards their staff, this is just funny and typical of their shirking of responsibility. I did make an error about Sylvania, however they did send the incorrect bulbs. They’re NOT the ones advertised on their website, and they will not even acknowledge this. I’ve asked for the correct ones to be sent and they’ve refused. All I’ve said is that I’ll leave bad reviews and report them to Trading standards. That’s not aggressive. Their reply however was aggressive, and they’re breaching the Consumer Rights Act.

I was looking for an specific lamp bulb for quite a while. The socket is slightly different than the D22, and at General Lamps I finally found!! Delivery took a few days (when compared to Amazon, which btw didn't have the specific lamp bulb), but got it within a week. Fair price, quick delivery, and good package that made sure the lamp bulb wouldn't break. Really liked it

I order on the 18 th March and it is 3rd April and I am still waiting for my order! , I have sent emails and phoned several times and only get an answering machine! I would like to speak to a real person to find out we’re my order is as they have taken the money out of my account and I have no goods !!!!! I would not use again or recommend to anyone

Excellent service. My order arrived but unfortunately the bulb was faulty so I Emailed them and they sent out a replacement without any fuss. ( The bulbs were extremely well packed. )

These lights do not fit the candle light fitting and are useless. They do not match the illustration on the box.

Poor after sales service lets this company down. Didn’t answer phone or return calls, email address listed on site is incorrect. A simple problem was made very difficult! Would not use again !

In answer to the reply, no reply was ever received by either phone or email prior to PayPal getting involved - strangely a reply was received within minutes of the PayPal dispute being opened ! I only opened the PayPal dispute because of no response when trying to contact directly!

General lamps supplied, at my request, three lamps that were the wrong size. This was through no fault of theirs, but was the result of a mis-labelling by the manufacturer. They responded to my telephone complaint with the utmost courtesy and refunded the entire cost, including postage, promptly.
