This company is brilliant. Very happy with the cost, delivery in 10 working days. The door were missing a manet and the flat glass were missing some corner clips but i emailed them. They emailed back within 15min and posted them out for the next day. Defiantly worth a look.

Very Disappointed in Korniche - had a damaged part on a Sky lantern - although it was some time from receipt to actual installation (ordered a little to early) it was kept in spare room whilst extension being built. The packaging was in perfectly good order with no signs of damage, but on further inspection one of the glass retainers was damaged and severely misformed at the end.
Due to the time difference they refuse to accept any responsibility and wanted £170 to replace the part even thought the damage is their fault.
Does leave a sour taste when a company has this attitude - least to say i will not be using any more Korniche products in future development projects.

Want to congratulate on a excellent service by your 2 guys that called to today. Think there names were Owen and Ricky. There is not space to go into details but we ran into problems but James, Lucy and Paul back in the office were so polite and efficient put themselves out to be helpful. And this as capped by Owen and Ricky a joy to have them here and all done to my satisfaction. To have 2 guys like this as your ambassadors must make you proud. Well done.

Dreadful experience so far. Bought two very expensive roof lights. Given very specific info on making sure we were ready for delivery and we were responsible for offloading . We were all ready - 3 builders on site with all glass suction cups etc. No call and no knock despite all cars/vans on driveway. Delivery driver made no effort to find anyone and dumped the roof lights on the drive and left. One is damaged and Korniche refusing to collect and replace despite this being their delivery arrangement that followed none of their process. Very angry and disappointed and not resolved.

The company is extremely easy to deal with and keep you well informed of progress and delivery.

We ordered 2 sky pods and asked for assistance installing them as we are a new trade customer, nothing was too much trouble, Mike straight away offered to assist us but after reading the instructions found them straight forward so installed them on our own, easiest sky pods we have ever installed! super value for money and quick turnaround after ordering.

5 stars for customer service response. Previously a hinge broke on the bi folds and the latest fault was the door handle. Breaking! I'm not impressed by the parts but the help to resolve the issue and supply new parts has been quick.

The Korniche lantern is the best lantern on the market.
I have never had any issues with the product. On the rare occasion something gets damaged on delivery they get the replacement part turned round in no time.

Supplied a lantern for a self build project. Faultless advice and service from day one, product arrived on schedule complete with glass, simply and easy to install.

Korniche have supported Rooflights.com. They always answer our questions even though they are rare, as the product is very well designed and well thought out. I had some training at the facility FOC, which was great! There's a lot of growth we can make and a long way to go with the Korniche Lantern and soon their Bi-fold doors as well as our own products and other Third-Party products but Korniche always support in a friendly and helpful manner.

Absolutely first class from start to finish. Customer service and support both via the telephone and at the office has been outstanding throughout.
These products are beautifully made, strong, solid and well engineered. As the saying goes 'You get what you pay for'.
I have had Korniche lantern and bi-folds supplied. Everything delivered as arranged/promised, very friendly and helpful delivery drivers.
Both products precision made to the exact measurements, extremely well packaged, easy to follow instructions. I can't speak highly enough of these products.
They are extremely aesthetically pleasing and the doors glide beautifully smoothly and effortlessly.
I would highly recommend these products, so much so I am in the process of ordering some more.

I was expecting a delivery of 12 glass units for my lanterns today. I was only delivered 8 glass out of 12 today. And 1 of the 8 glass was damaged. I called made for trade to ask when the remaining will be delivered as my builders want to complete the other works in the house before Christmas. And they cannot complete the other works until the lanterns have arrived as they need the area watertight before they do anything else. The person I spoke to at made for trade said that I shouldn’t have booked the installation until all the materials have arrived. But that’s not the point, you are delaying a lot of the other work that needs to be done. On top of that I had to separately pay 2 workers from my builders a whole day worth of wages for them to be on site just to help me carry these glasses since this company doesn’t even help with carrying the materials.
Now I will have to call them again to help me carry the remaining glass units. So this will cost me extra. WHO’S GOING TO PAY FOR THIS NOW? I am extremely disappointed with this service. And the level of incompetency is ridiculous.

How would I be able to recommend this company to others if they are this incompetent. They say they sell to trade but if they continue with this appalling service customers won’t even buy this product from a trade company or their builder, as there are other options available on the market for trade companies to sell to their customers.

I was warned by a friend who purchased 2 lanterns and a bifold door from them to avoid this company, as he had similar issues. But I was naive enough to go ahead with them. They promote their products at home shows, which is where I found them but similar quality products are available on the market that don’t come with this stress, I would go for them.

For anyone who is interested in purchasing this product be warned that their customer service and transport is very poor. This would eventually lead to costing you more than you expected. Don’t forget the extra stress and money you have to pay to have someone on site to take the delivery.

Update:

The delivery didn’t arrive on 10th November and my workers (that I had to pay again just for them to be there to help me carry the glass) had nothing to do. I didn’t book an installer, I had to get people to help me carry the product. As your company doesn’t carry the product.

The delivery arrived on Monday 13th November and I had to pay for 2 workers for the third time to help. So the “carrying” process alone cost me £900. As I had to pay £150 per worker per day.

My installer checked the frames on Tuesday 14th November and some of the frames has had marks and scratches. I have attached a picture of one of the frame below where you can clearly see a very noticeable mark. Looking at the other reviews, people have had similar problems with damaged frames.

When you pay thousands of pounds for a product. You would expect certain level of care and a competent procedure to ensure the product doesn’t get damaged.

I have never said the product is of poor quality. In fact it is a very high quality product. But the delivery and packaging issues need to be improved significantly. I am not the only one that has raised the same issues. If you look at all the bad reviews, most of them are regarding the delivery and packaging.

I will require compensation for the delivery issues as I had to pay £900 for 3 days for people to be on site just to carry the product, this is completely your fault and it is absolutely ridiculous. The scratches I need to get compensated as well.

By just saying sorry won’t make it fine as I
have lost a lot of money that I shouldn’t have.

Had a very stressful experience with korniche. Their logistics system is dreadful. First delivery late, then no glass, then smashed glass with no explanation, then late glass by a courier that couldn’t handle the glass, very very poor.
The product, once fitted seems fine, shame the delivery lets them down.

Fitted two Roof Lanterns to date and would definitely recommend them.
They are sturdy and go together so quickly & easily, just watch the videos on you tube. The customer service has also been great .

We purchased a Bi-Fold door via our builder and needed assistance from Korniche in completing the installation. I commend Richie and Owen to their management team as excellent representatives of Korniche. They fully understood the issues we faced and reported back to their line manager who supported them and authorised the necessary remedial action. Both engineers worked quickly and professionally and we now have a fully functioning Bi-Fold door.

I have two Korniche Lanterns. Both were badly installed with mastic everywhere, even using it to replace structural parts (which they had broken) - yet none of this was their fault!
I contacted Customer Services (specifically Tracy) who could not have been more helpful and based on photographic evidence identified the issues and produced a report which was instrumental in my winning the small claim against my cowboy installers.
