Steel Door Company  Anmeldelser

Lewis and Owen (the two fitters) were AMAZING! They were on time, their work was clean, precise and they talked us through the complete process at the beginning and during the whole installation. They made the overall experience a great one, and are the perfect example of the kind of fitters you want in your home. They are mostly definitely an asset and credit to the Steel Door Company.

The finished product itself was exactly what we wanted and the doors are a real conversation piece.

Outstanding service from start to finish – highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We couldn’t be happier with our new steel doors from ‘The Steel Door Company.

Olli and Tiler have done a fantastic job with the installation.
Both of them were absolutely brilliant – hardworking, professional, polite and genuinely lovely guys. They took great pride in their work, paid attention to the little details and made sure everything was fitted beautifully. Their workmanship was excellent, and they worked so well together.

It’s such a pleasure to have tradesmen who clearly care about the quality of their work and go the extra mile to make sure everything is just right.

Olli and Tiler are a real credit to the company, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering steel doors. If you’re lucky enough to have these two doing your installation, you’re in very safe hands!

Thank you both 💙💙for a fantastic job – we absolutely love our new doors! 👏😊 your parents should be proud of you both .

Staff communication, response time to emails and all round service quality was excellent. On day of install engineers time up on time and were very friendly.

Their product is excellent, the options are wide for you to tailor and we’re delighted with the end result . We’re v happy we used them

Fantastic service and doors. Highly recomend

Amazing service from start to finish. They acted quickly when quoted, came to survey within a week, doors were made and installed with incredible turn around. Really high spec product and great fitters. Customer service has been really positive. Would highly recommend.

The door was delivered three minutes early to the expected time of 7am. Working alone Lee was extremely polite, thoughtful and careful to deliver the door and store it exactly where I wanted it to be. Despite having an early start himself and driven for at least an hour he was so cheerful and positive it gave me a great start to my day, Thankyou Lee

Brilliant customer service from start to finish.
My internal doors are stunning 😍 the fitters were extremely polite and professional.
I would highly recommend this company.
Well done to the whole team 👏

A massive thank you to Sam and Josh in particular — both were fantastic, really helpful, professional and a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble and they made the whole process really straightforward.

Would definitely recommend Steel Door Company to anyone looking for a great product backed up by excellent service.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have used the steel door company not only on my private home but we also upsell these to new build customers across my regions developments.

We have had nothing short of amazing service throughout, there is no one else doing doors the way they do it truly is bespoke to the industry.

Great company, great product!

I had a brilliant experience with The Steel Door Company from start to finish. The install team were a delight to have at my property, really friendly, exceptional workmanship by people who clearly take pride in what they do. I can’t recommend this company enough, and I am already showing off my new doors to anyone who will listen and pointing them in the direction of the steel door company.

Steel door company installed our double door set that we are really pleased with, the whole experience was 5 star. They made it really easy for us and always did what they said they were going to do. I wouldn't go anywhere else if I needed another door and I highly recommend.
Quality door, delivered on time.

I am an interior designer and hired The Steel Door Company in January 2026 to fit a small sliding door in my client's kitchen in London. Long and short is it's now entering it's 9th month of trying to get this door fitted. They have made so many mistakes. The door was made too small for the opening, so there were gaps either side. We were not instructed to support the lintel, so after 10 weeks the fitters turned up and said they couldn't fit it. We had to get the builder back to do more work after he had finished. We then had two surveyor visits, one who did the first measure in January (incorrectly) and the other so we could prove to him the door did not fit properly in May and then we had to wait for a new survey measure which happened 31 July (when it should have been done at the May visit). They initially refused to replace the door despite it being very clearly in their ts&cs if you pay the extra for them to measure and survey then there is no risk if it doesn't fit. If it doesn't fit they will replace it. My client had to threaten legal action back and forth for weeks and weeks to get them to agree to their own terms. Was meant to get the damn thing finally fitted today, and last night I got a call saying the doors aren't ready and they weren't coming. Despite confirming in writing with me 2 weeks before the "doors are now ready" and we booked in. Horribly disappointed, the door quality seemed fine, but this whole experience has been horrendous. 9 months to get a single 90cm sliding door fitted. Do NOT recommend!

Both quotation and fitting teams were, friendly, and very good at their jobs. Also love the doors, they make a really stunning addition to our room.

Fantastic job on our developments - lovely to work alongside the guys at Steel Door Company 👏

The team - Tyler and Ollie - were efficient, friendly and professional. And we are delighted with the doors!

We recently used the Steel Door Company to install sliding Steel Internal Doors. We are so pleased with the outcome of this installation as it has completed changed the dynamics of our living space downstairs i our house.
I would highly recommend using the Steel Door Company as this Company if very reliable and very trustworthy.
I would like to personally thank the members of staff Brad, Lewis, Owen and Britt who have helped us through the process of choosing and installing the doors and the aftercare. You are all a credit to your Company who I feel are all Trustworthy and very skilled in what you all do. You are all an asset to the Steel Door Company. We nearly choose another Company, but it was dealing with Brad in the first couple of consultations that made us choose the Steel Door Company.
Lewis and Owen installed the doors for us they were brilliant installing the doors and are both very skilled in what they do. They are both very trustworthy and did a brilliant job. After the installation everything was cleared up and left very clean and tidy.
Britt has been brilliant keeping us informed of everything before the installation and after care. We are so impressed with the Steel Door Company we are going to use them again and are in the process of getting quotes for two other internal doors in the house. Thank you to you all again and thank you Steel Door Company.

The company have a great product that is in demand and from the first point of contact to the after sales support they are there to help the customer.
As with any company when ordering for the first time, you are concerned with delivery when doing a project that needs to be finished on time.
The Steel Door Company delivered on time and the doors were as expected. Lovely to look at and fitted perfectly.

We needed 4 sets of steel doors and The Steel Door Company give you a quote online first, then ask for a 50% deposit to book in a survey. I was nervous about paying out so much money up front without being able to see any real life samples before hand. However, the website pictures look amazing, several celebrities endorse their doors and I read so many amazing reviews for this company, so decided to go for it and book a survey. The people in the office were extremely friendly and helpful, the survey went well and then we had to wait 12 weeks for delivery. All the time the cynic in me just kept wondering if it was all too good to be true and whether I’d been scammed and would actually ever see these amazing doors.

Well, after a nail biting 3 month wait, the doors arrived, were fitted in a day and I’m so happy to say they are beautiful and we love them! Everyone who comes in the house comments how about nice they are. I’m so relieved 😂 and can say I’d honestly 100% recommend this company for great service and great doors.

This review covers supply installation of 2 sets external steel doors and windows . The completed doors are first class and the installation team led by Lewis did an excellent job ensuring quality and safety with the area left tidy as found. The project had its timeline issues (only reason Not 5 Stars) when the external fabricator failed to deliver a quality product on schedule and Sam then diverted the order to a second fabricator that delivered a high quality item that looks stunning. Issues can happen its how they are managed that sets good companies apart, direct comms with management via Sam and Jess ensured the end product was delivered to highest quality and Lewis and Team did super job of the install . Without the unforeseen delay the doors and service delivered was 5 star.
Thank You Team @ Steel Door Co !
