We were looked after by Jamie at Junction 17 in Peterborough. A pleasant experience, no pressure and no rush. Jamie took time to explain options to us without any pressure.

From the very first moment I made contact with J17 about selling my car I received nothing but professional service from Jamie and the team. Every question was answered and loads of information was volunteered. The entire transaction was hassle free and removed all the stress from selling my BMW M5 via a brokerage deal. The team was very friendly, knowledgeable, professional and very easy to deal with. I can seriously recommend J17 without hesitation and will be dealing with them in the future. They also sold my car within ONE week

I would not even rate this a one star if I didn’t have to.

I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this garage to proceed with extreme caution.

My partner and I purchased a car from this dealership a few months ago for £27,000. Although we felt the vehicle was already overpriced, we were specifically looking for this model and decided to proceed with the purchase.

Before buying the vehicle, we asked numerous questions regarding the warranty. Unfortunately, the responses we received were vague and consisted largely of general assurances that led us to believe that any issues would be covered. It was only after the purchase that we discovered this was not the case.

Approximately one month after taking ownership of the vehicle, a fault developed. We contacted the dealership immediately and were advised to return the car to them, as the issue had been reported within the 30-day period during which faults could be addressed. We were assured that the repair would be carried out free of charge and that the vehicle would be returned to us once fixed.

However, when the car was returned, the fault had not been resolved. After further discussions with the dealership, I was informed that I was not entitled to a refund despite having reported the issue within the relevant timeframe. Following extensive back-and-forth communication with staff, I was simply told that refunds were something they “don’t do.”

This response was both disappointing and unacceptable. As a result of the ongoing issues with this vehicle, I have now lost over £6,000.

The poor communication, lack of transparency regarding warranty coverage, failure to properly rectify the reported fault, and dismissive attitude towards customer rights have left me extremely dissatisfied.

I would urge potential customers to carefully consider their options before purchasing a vehicle from this garage, regardless of how desirable the vehicle may seem. The risk is not worth it.

I have the car back and they have put it straight back on their website. For anyone interested in the i8 (I can provide the number plate upon request) please rethink your choice, I would not want anyone to end up with the same issues I have faced.

Can’t really fault the service I got . Great communication throughout and James the guy I was dealing with was a really nice guy. I initially went to see a 4 series BM . James put me onto a 330 e which he suggested would be worth thinking about with my short commute to work but the one I ended up getting was in Derby which James sorted with a few nice upgrades . Probably paid a bit over the odds for the car but you get what you pay for and the car is stunning .. very happy

Firstly I would purchase from a different garage ,information given we could get drive away insurance no problem this was a problem causing 40 mins frantically trying too get cover so we could drive over 3 hours home ,sale guy approached asking if we had insurance I said we don’t he walked away no help at all car was not valeted even though we have put deposit on this car a week prior! He said we can do this after we had been there over an hour which we declined as we had such a long journey back we had no time too wait I believe this should have been done on or before our arrival we now returned home & the car needs a servicing we where told all services are up too date & yes I did look briefly I believed the guy saying all was serviced .On returning home called garage too be sent wrong information I find they don’t pass relevant information & are nit helpful at all use a different garage !!!!

Very positive experience with James today. He was refreshingly honest and straightforward . Also very good experience online and on the telephone with Ellie.

Recently purchased a very nice vehicle from the Peterborough branch and very happy with the purchase and interaction from start to finish. Non pushy sales person and very helpful. Would happily consider for any future car purchase and definitely recommend.

Saw a car paid a deposit to view it. Vehicle was not as pictures showed and found multiple faults. Was told deposit would be refunded within 3 to 5 days. 5 days later no refund rang them and now have to wait another 7 to 10 days for refund. In hindsight would not have paid deposit. Disappointed

Jaime was fantastic from start to finish. Great service, she kept me updated the whole time and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend.

If you are to take anything from this review it’s to avoid these con artists like the plague! If you want details of why… read on!

We went to view and buy our vehicle in April 2025 and were told we weren’t allowed to test drive or negotiate any type of price as that’s “not what they do”. Instead they said “we ensure that all our cars are sold at the highest standard with any errors/issues corrected and it is detailed to the highest standard”. Having seen all their vehicles on the forecourt and ultimately being shmoozed by the salesman we avoided the screaming red flag and moved forward with the deal. (Hindsight hey?)
When we looked around the vehicle a couple of warning lights flashed up on the dash, one being the automatic tow bar. It seemed jammed and we were reassured it would be fixed before collection. We arranged for the following weekend.
Friday came and we received a call to say they couldn’t fix the tow-bar and it needed new. We had 2 options, wait 6months for a genuine part or they could fit the highest quality detachable tow-bar. We agreed to the detachable option as long as the automatic tow-bar deploy buttons were capped and the warning lights dealt with. (We at no point requested compensation for a downgrade). We were told we’d have to wait until the following weekend for collection. Friday arrived and we phoned to check all was ok. We were told unfortunately the garage was waiting for the new coding from Audi to reboot the car. Again delayed another week. The following week we chased them up again as we had yet to hear anything. Friday we received a call to inform us the car was ready for collection but the warning lights had come back on when being driven back to the garage. They reassured us it was a simple fix and just needed the codes clearing but needed to go to an Audi dealer to do this. They told us to take it to our nearest Audi Garage and they’d pay for the costs. We requested email confirmation and proof of this and, after picking it up, booked it into our local Audi garage. Buttons were also not capped like asked.

When Audi took a look at the car they investigated and told us there was nothing they could do in regard to removing the warning lights. It needed an automatic tow bar or the car would continue to “search” for one. We got a second and third opinion to ensure it wasn’t Audi wanting their genuine parts and all garages agreed.
When it come to paying for this work Junction 17 were a nightmare! We were told the guy we initially dealt with was off sick, and the others in the garage didn’t know about it. We showed the email from their sick colleague and were passed to payments, who also refused to pay. After much back and forth and intervention from the Audi Garage themselves we were told the balance had been paid. 2 days later Audi had not received anything. We chased the garage up again who refused any knowledge of a payment or even seeing the invoice. Finally, someone from the Rugby branch phoned to pay directly over the phone.

We got the car home and immediately raised an official complaint via email. Their warranty company contacted us later and said they were going to investigate. 4 weeks later after chasing repeatedly we received Junction 17s final response. They refused to cover the costs of any new tow bar to rectify the issue of warning lights stating we “collected the vehicle in its condition aware of the issues”. The warranty company were also not willing to assist further.
In the meantime we had yet to receive our V5C. When looking into this we found it was eventually issued in August… 4 months after purchasing the vehicle.

After seeking advice we finally approached our bank, who investigated and upheld our complaint, sorting the issue! Junction 17 have never acknowledged our complaint as per their policy and have been a joke throughout. If you purchase a car with any issues I wish you nothing but luck, but note how all negative reviews are as a result of their inability to uphold customer service and satisfaction. Positive reviews seem to be those that got lucky!

Easy experience buying a car. Nice and smooth no issues

I think this is a family run business as everyone was so nice. did not feel like I was being sold to and the lady Leonie was so friendly. only after about 30 minutes I realised she owns the place! felt like I was getting VIP service.

I'll be honest if I could give them zero stars that's exactly what I would do. This was the worse experience I've had with a dealer and I've had multiple. This dealer I wouldn't recommend to buy a hot wheel from let alone a car. Shocking dealer they are unprofessional and full of excuses I purchased a car and immediately felt problems when on the motorway as it was too late to go back because of the time and me living over 100 miles away I had to slowly drive it back home. I dealt with one man advised the issues and then the day it was meant to be rectified 5 days later he funny enough left the business at 12 after I had spoken to him at 9 that day,it then took 2 weeks for a resolution dealing with another party leaving me carless in the end he haggled on getting repairs done didn't offer any compensation or even to pay for the tow that I had to pay to get the car recovered or my public transport payments for the length of time I was careless and offered minimal and cheap rectifications to get the car fixed at this point I was out of options as carless and had to agree. The car had coke cans in the back and the alloys were all cracked and welded and shocked they let it leave the showroom. They attempted to state BMW provided false information when they deemed the car unsafe and not to be driven. Aftercare is poor and non existent and I would recommend before being put in a situation of begging for a rectification just avoid at all costs.** UPDATE since the writing of this review I was contacted by apparently the head man at Grantham and Peterborough branch I will not name him but initial Mr D who refused to accept to liability wanted to pass the buck went back and forward and in the end offered a measly incentive/ bribe to take the review down.

Tom was an excellent salesperson and provided outstanding support throughout the entire process. His professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail made everything completely stress-free. We received a genuinely personal service and felt well looked after from start to finish. I would highly recommend Tom to anyone looking for a smooth and enjoyable experience.
